Toki has tinkered with the Hearthstone shop to bring us a great deal for players of the Wild format. 56 card packs, 1 great price.
- The bundle is only available on the Battle.net Web Shop. It costs $35 USD.
- You have about two weeks to purchase the bundle, it is available through July 1, 2019.
- The 56 packs are divided evenly among the 7 wild Hearthstone expansions - 8 packs per expansion.
- You may purchase the bundle once per account. It may be gifted.
If you're a standard player and want some dust, this isn't the worst deal we've ever seen. The value increases quite a bit if you've opened a bunch of these packs previously since you could hit your pity timer. If only this was 10 packs from each expansion, all players who never opened some of these packs would be getting a wild legendary per set to disenchant.
Wild Expansions 2019
These are the expansions you'll be getting card packs from.
- Goblins vs Gnomes
- The Grand Tournament
- Whispers of the Old Gods
- Mean Streets of Gadgetzan
- Journey to Un'Goro
- Knights of the Frozen Throne
- Kobolds & Catacombs
Are you picking up the bundle? Tell us why or why not in the comments below.
Personally, I'll be picking the bundle up and leaving the packs in my collection for a while since they all look so awesome. I'll unpack them as soon as I desire dust.

Yeaaaah, the only real way to get into wild now is by crafting decks. I really wish Blizzard would make old expansions cheaper (like maybe a year after they rotate out) and because they cost less to buy, also decrease the dust value of cards. It would make it way more accessible.
It would also just be helpful to have wild packs earned in-game by playing the format or you know, in the shop for gold too. Would be cool if you could get a random wild pack every 5-10 wins, though I'm not going to hold my breath :P
Now that is how you market an unpopular option.
"I'm free to play and/or joined too late to play wild!" -- well, there you go.
And for those who turn their nose at wild or happen to have every important card in their possession, they get some dust.
/I was backwards; I had only wild cards when I came back to Hearthstone, had to take a lot of punishment to get a standard deck months later
I personally would love to see a new game mode in a similar vein as how Arena is set up now. A "Limited Wild" constructed play mode. Maybe have a different ladder set up, have the season length and the packs available for deck building be the same as the Arena rotations to make it easy, maybe have special quests added in that earn you a few Wild packs used in the current Limited Wild card pool...
It's not that different from the current constructed format really, but it's still another way to play Hearthstone, and if the rewards are geared towards giving out Wild only packs it helps bring newer players into the Wild spectrum by giving them an easy way to earn more Wild cards. And if they do go for a very different ladder set up they could use this mode to test a new ladder system for the entire game if they wanted to.
I always wished for this mixed mode also. Seasonal changes, so people wouldn't have time to complain about this or that broken deck and also having the chance to get some packs from old times (with gold maybe).
Come join the Wild side!
You missed the chance! It should have been "Take a walk on the Wild side"
Good way to hit some pity timers on multiple legendaries from old sets for new players i guess :)
Can you purchase this from mobile? I have some itunes gift cards I can purchase it with.
Apple charges extra for in-game purchases btw.
This was exactly what I thought, but as luck had it I drew only one legendary.. Mayor Noggenfogger
I also picked up the Noggen
Ouch. It if makes you feel better, I think I still have three copies remaining from the era when duplicate legendaries were a thing. What a happy expansion that was.
Not a great legendary, but a good and fun one.
I would rate that card about 3.6. Not great, not terrible.
