New expansion, new recipes! If you're interested in the new fun that Whizbang the Wonderful is going to provide, or want some ideas for your own Uldum deckbuilding, which launches on Tuesday with the expansion, you're in the right place!
Druid Recipes
The new Druid recipe focuses on Choosing Both with a slightly token-y build. Don't let the slower, Mana-floating early turns fool you, the deck packs a heavy punch with minions like Oasis Surger and Cenarius, while also healing the damage taken during the slow start with Hidden Oasis quite handily.

Hunter Recipes
Rexxar won't be hunting alone as he needs 20 friends to complete his Quest in the new Hunter recipe. To help with that the deck packs a lot of 1/1s in cards like Swarm of Locusts and Halazzi, the Lynx.

Crafting that Whizbang is starting to pay off!
Is there a list for wild?
Whizbang doesn't have Wild-only decks, these are what you will get in Wild as well.
I don't have Whizbang, which made me happy when Zayle was introduced - but he's not getting deck updates quite yet :'(
I was hoping that he would get some love as well, it would've been fun.
I was hoping too, but I don't think that's actually going to happen. Updating Whizbang's decks is essentially free--they're going to publish new recipes anyways--but updating Zayle's decks would mean additional labor and possibly actually cost them profit, since it would slightly discourage players from buying new cards and the players who haven't already bought Dalaran Heist probably aren't going to change their minds based on new decklists.
On the plus side: I have a good feeling that next month's new single-player adventure will have a "good guy version" of Zayle for Druid + Hunter + Mage + Paladin. I'll even go as far to predict that the Hunter deck will be highlander and Paladin deck will be quest. :-)
i wait to try all uldum deck recipes,
i have crafted golden Whizbang the Wonderful in day one and i have never regret it. :)
Wild · Mech Hunter · by FrostyFeet · 6 years, 7 months ago
Fair point, I was mainly focusing on Uldum cards. The original recipe naturally couldn't have SN1P-SN4P as it was just recently added.
They added Khartut Defender into 3 decks... They shouldn't add those, wtf.
Cross that, I think I changed my mind. Since it is a neutral card that has a good number of roles by itself, even with bad looking stat. I'm dumb for saying its a bad card straight away.
Don't be naive and underestimate a Neutral Taunt, Reborn, Deathrattle & Healing effect minion.
Exactly, technically it's a 6/5 Taunt which heals you for 6, 1 more mana than Rotten Applebaum but better defense and 2 more healing
I'm pretty excited to play with the new recipes. Hopefully I'll get more of the lists that are highlighted here and less of the updated ones from last expansion.
I crafted a golden whizbang day one. and I have yet to not regret it. I DE him a few weeks later, then I crafted him again for the next expansion. then I DE him again. then I crafted him again and I will never dust him because I don't think I could live with myself if I had to craft him one more time.
Every time a new expansion releases I am glad to have him, then after a week or so of the new expansion, I forget about him. my and whizbang have a strong love/hate relationship
This guide is just what I needed, thanks!
Looks like I'm gonna be banging and whizzing my opponents all day come next Tuesday, if you know what I mean!
I would craft him if i knew for sure they will update him forever with new Standard decks, even after he'll be rotated out.
Just to toy around with Standard, sometimes, even if Wild is my main mode.
Without that knowledge, i deem it a bad dust investment for my own playtime as a F2P.
I'm pretty sure they will. I mean, recipes have been a thing before he existed, so I guess they'll still be around once he rotates out.
The recipes will always exist, regardless of Whizbang. The problem will be, after he rotates, you will only be able to test recipes in Wild, or against friends.
I don't recall if I crafted it or if I got it, but it will always be cool to see new cards and I recommend these type of cards to everyone, especially low budget/ f2p players, to try on new cards they wouldn't normally have access.
Glad they updated this card, disappointed I disenchanted him now!
Bit dissappointed that only two of the new recipes feature the League highlander legendaries
