Castle Nathria Demon Hunter - Expansion Cards & Archetypes
For Demon Hunter, two archetypes have asserted themselves as favorites to play on Day 1: Relics and Aggro.
Relic Demon Hunter
When you play a Relic, it makes all your future Relics better - so you want to play a lot of Relics. While certainly parts of the deck build itself, there's still a lot of room for experimentation in the other slots, as we'll see later on. Artificer Xy'mox is a solid finisher for the archetype, potentially cleaning up with a huge board swing and card draw if you've been playing your Relics and triggered his Infuse.
Aggro Demon Hunter
Bibliomite and Dispose of Evidence are powerfully aggressive tools for Demon Hunter, even with the drawback of shuffling cards back into your deck. This makes it likely that decks built around them either find ways to dump their hands efficiently, or use Magnifying Glaive to draw more cards post-shuffle. The choice aspect of these two cards also plays well with Outcast, giving Demon Hunter players more ways to manipulate into their powerful Outcast triggers.
Castle Nathria Demon Hunter - Top Neutral Cards
Demon Hunter has a few interesting options in the Neutral set. Most aggressive builds will likely want to take a look at Crooked Cook, who synergizes well with Dispose of Evidence particularly, as well as other pieces of the class's aggressive toolkit.
Dispossessed Soul could fit well as card selection in Relic decks that are likely to run Relic Vault. Demolition Renovator will be good in a meta heavy with Locations, and should be a decent plug-and-play option on day 1 while people are still experimenting with new cards.
Castle Nathria Demon Hunter - Day 1 Decks to Try
Not sure what to play for the class once it's time to enter Castle Nathria? We've gathered a handful of early deck ideas from all across the Hearthstone tavern just to help you out:
Fel Spells Cast Pell-Mell Gel Well With a Relic Shell
Languagehacker built a Fel-style Relic deck that tops out at Jace Darkweaver and includes a single copy of Demolition Renovator to clear away other people's pesky locations.
Because 41 Cards Is Too Many
Trump went full 40 cards on the theorycrafting stream with this Renathal Relic deck that adds in a Naga package of Herald of Chaos, Coilskar Commander, and Queen Azshara to gain access to the various things those minions provide.
Haha, Relics Go Brrrrr
dragonrider dk took a more aggressive spin at Relic Demon Hunter, adding in the card selection of Dispossessed Soul and the early aggression of Bibliomite and Battlefiend for another way of feeding the Infuse of Artificer Xy'mox and ending the game when he comes down.
Tremble Before Our Awesome Mite!
Old Guardian went for an Aggro deck that can dump its hand by playing cheap cards, or with Bibliomite, then refill withCrooked Cook and Magnifying Glaive. And don't worry about trading, that's what Pufferfist and Glaiveshark are for.

Murlocula should be mentioned here.
Murlocula should be mentioned on every class page that has an aggro concept.
It needs to be tested first and foremost, because if it works, it will be rotation-defining.
Only card I'm really excited about is Kryxis the Voracious coz who doesn't enjoy a 4 mana 7/7 that you can cheat out and draw 3 more cards?! Yup, only talking about deathrattle DH and excited to play the archetype again.
Not really sold on the Relics tbh, probably need to see the archetype in action first but right now it seems too slow.
