With the upcoming Maw and Disorder Mini-Set for Murder at Castle Nathria announced yesterday, the second day of ongoing card reveals is upon us! We've now entered into the territory of class cards, starting off with two new additions for Rogue (and yes, it was supposed to be Priest instead in this time slot; thanks, Hearthstone team, we'll blame it on Maestra of the Masquerade).
- As usual we're going to see 35 new cards, with a trial theme visible throughout!
- You can find the full ongoing card reveal schedule and all countdowns on our special page.
- Make sure to follow along with all the card reveals through our dedicated articles, and see all of it collected in our Mini-Set guide.
- 24.4 Patch notes will be posted on Monday, September 26.
- The patch launches, alongside the new cards, on Tuesday, September 27.
- Besides all of the Mini-Set additions, there will also be new content for Hearthstone Mercenaries.
New Rogue Cards Revealed
It all comes to us via Hearthstone Twitter:
The third revealed Rogue card is the one we've already seen during the initial Mini-Set announcement, and as such isn't strictly to be considered as 'new':

Perjury - the secret that'll scams your opponent into playing around secrets but isn't actually a secret because it discover other secrets on your turn. Good card. Rogue secrets are so shit that they need them from other classes
Scribbling Stenographer is just another bridge to a massive draka. It'll never truly come out on its own because that'll take a minimum of 6 cards and if your payoff is two 4/4 rushes then you're in trouble. But alongside a draka or a big sinstone graveyard turn? That's different.
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around perjury, but I think it's bad.
Isn't Stenographer just Frostwolf Warmaster...but worse? Like...it's a strictly more expensive version of a neutral card from 2 expansions ago that didn't even see play when Rogue had a deck whose entire gameplan was to play like 20 cards a turn and all it gets as an upgrade is Rush. It's basically just Umbral Owl except trash and Gnoll is better anyways
You can use both Gnoll and Scribbling Stenographer.
And it is much better than [Hearthstone Card (Frostwolf Warmaster) Not Found], being 4/4 is much better that 3/3 (as many spells do 3 damage and much less 3 damage) and Rush makes difference.
It is similar card but much better.
Oh, I love Perjury. Making people play around a secret that doesn't do anything is so funny to me lmao
Seeing what you typed, this secret can make halkias playable
Well, I think it's kinda stupid. The idea of secrets in general - it triggers when opponent did something specific: plays a minion, plays a spell, goes face etc.
And if secret doesn't care of opponent's action, why the hell it is a secret?
It's look's like Demon hunter's sigil: do something at the start of your next turn. So it's more like a sigil rather than a secret
It is still a secret mechanically, and not even the first to trigger at the start of your own turn (recall Competitive Spirit, and Plagiarize has pretty much the same trigger). Aside from that, the opponent won't know what secret it is and they may try to play around other secrets as a result, so it's still 'secret' in that sense. It will also activate secret synergies, which looks to be the primary purpose of the card since it practically guarantees you'll have a secret active next turn.
On the theme side of things, perjury means to lie in court, and thus keep the truth hidden. So it probably earns the 'secret' name more than any that have come before.
"They have no idea what this is and neither do I"
Perjury looks really neat, kinda slow, yeah, but still looks fine, maybe it will push a Secret package in Rogue a bit
Scribbling Stenographer is what Gnoll should look like [costs (1) less for each card you played from other classes] I think Stenographer will see some play in Miracle Rogue
It replaces the awful Kidnap as the third Secret in the build, which should be enough for the Secret shell to be a consideration, although whether that's enough to make it playable is another story.
Perjury seems like a neat concept thats pretty thematically funny. reminds me of Sketchy Stranger but way less costly since it automatically casts the secret. It's effectively a direct discount if you discover a mage secret, too.
As for the Stenographer i feel nothing one way or the other. It's not insane but it could be an alternative to Wildpaw Gnoll if you don't want to run his engine.
Rogue is getting so Burgle-y that it stole an entire class's reveal.
