Oh, you're absolutely right that you'd want to curate the spells carefully, but it's pretty clear that they will be mostly burn, with the intent of dealing lethal damage.
As for clearing the board, "one of each Cost" seems to fit the Reno formula, and guess who usually comes out at 9 mana, the turn before you can use The Galactic Projection Orb, conveniently limiting your opponent's board to a single minion slot!
"no 6 mana that deal damage to the enemy"
I assume you meant "enemy hero", i.e: the opponent's face, because cards like Blizzard, Meteor, etc. exist to help clear the board for the other stuff. Also Rune of the Archmage can definitely be your 9-Mana spell, to try and get more damage in.
Yeah, meant enemy hero.
I only included spells that deal direct damage. Obviously, Rune is great and Puzzlebox of Yogg Saron is the objectively funnier choice over Volley. I just got lazy typing :P
The Galactic Projection Orb forbidden secret technique: use only the slowest-animating spells, especially spells that cast other spells, like Rune and Puzzle Box (it's spells all the way down!). Wait until the very end of your turn to cast the Orb. By the time it's all done animating, your opponent's turn has expired and it's your turn again.
I thought they fixed it so your opponent’s turn timer doesn’t start until animations are over? I swear they did after DisguisedToast featured an exploit that used up the opponent’s turn with old Nozdormu on board. And especially with Shudderwock, they had to make sure a player didn’t lose their turn to animations
