Quick Introduction:

Hey guys, trying a little bit of different Theorycraft for my entry. The deck is created only for fun and flavor and will probably have an abyssmal winrate.

Deck Goal:

Nevertheless for anyone still interested the goal of the deck it to set up a Divine Shield board, we do this by using Lothraxion the Redeemed or Seedcloud Buckler with 1 remaining durability. Then on a Combo turn, we play Highlord Fordragon paired with corrupted Day at the Faire with the only minion in hand being Stormwind Knight. We then blow up our Divine Shields with either prepared Wild Pyromancer or, depending on the board of our opponent, Animated Broomstick. Then either the Pyro or Broom will need to leave the board which we can acomplish by either playing a cheap spell or in case of Broom, trading. Finaly we play the Stormwind Knight (which should be 32/35) for the OTK. Of course the combo turn takes up to 16 Mana (14 in case of a Broomstick way), thats what Emperor Thaurissan is there for.

All the other card in the deck are either survival tools or deck tutors to find our combo.

Card Uses / Synergies To Think Of:

City Tax + Bloodmage Thalnos - with City Tax being a new card I wanted to try out to see how a tradeable keyword really help combo decks. Thalnos being a solid card draw that can be tutored with Crystology has a great amount of synergy with the former card (as we could have seen with Spirit Lash in Priest)

Equality + Consecration / Wild Pyromancer + Equality / Lord Barov + Consecration / Lord Barov + Animated Broomstick - Staple board clears in Paladin, we're playing both Pyro and Broomstick twice as one of them is needed for the combo.

Weakest Cards / First To Cut:

Righteous Protector - being just one off in the deck, this minion could stop two attacks so may be solid inclusion against faster decks, it does not push our gameplan and is less significant in a control matchups.

Alliance Bannerman - being there simply because it is a new card and that it tutors minions, might feel too clunky to play against any aggresive deck out there.

Possible Replacements:

Auctioneer Jaxon - If we include more tradeable cards and tradeable works well in combo deck, might be a viable option.

Rustrot Viper / Impatient Shopkeep - The go to cards if you want to try Jaxon.

Shieldbreaker - could be a fine tech card as it could potentionaly be squeezed in on the combo turn to get through Voidlord for example.

Lightbringer's Hammer - Removal and Heal, might work, I am just not sure about the card.

Final Words:

For the true Flavor I kept the cards featuring Horde characters to a minimum, including only Flash of Light and Wild Pyromancer, which you can attempt to cut if you want to go full Alliance.

Fun Fact:

Also a fun fact, with the release of United in Stormwind Paladin can play a deck consisting of 30 Human Legendary Minions, if thats what you can afford you can try to win with that and let me know if you did.
