Double Dorian Plot Twist
- Plot Twist Warlock
- Wild
- Casual
Hey all! So a few things have changed since my last Plot Twist deck. I figured I'd share my latest version. I don't think Thaddius, Monstrosity is good enough anymore. And I've swapped out some spells. I'm happy with the list, except for a couple of cards. Don't craft This!! But if you have the cards, it can be a blast!
Objective:
Puppetmaster Dorian makes this deck much better. It gives you a 3rd option for Plot Twist. You'll have more hand size issues, but that usually means you've got some nice 1 mana minions. The goal of this deck is to simply out value your opponent and cheat out big minions while gaining armor. The beauty is you don't need any one card to win. You don't even need Plot Twist if you can cheat out a Big Demon or two w/ Voidcaller. If you're playing a control matchup, you may need Bloodreaver Gul'dan and/or N'Zoth, the Corruptor. So I try not to lose those. But in most cases you can win without them.
Flesh Behemoth can give you 2 copies?
And there's a Great synergy between Fel Lord Betrug and Flesh Behemoth. I'll try to explain it. If Fel Lord Betrug is on the board, and you draw a Flesh Behemoth, And you have another undead in your deck...Then at the end of your turn, Fel Lord Betrug's end of turn triggers, which kills the Flesh Behemoth. This will draw the undead, and put 2 copies on the board (because Fel Lord Betrug creates a copy as well). Now you would think the second one would die, but Fel Lord Betrug's end of turn already occurred. So both minions stick! : ) You'd think this is a rare occurrence, but it seems to happen quite often. And if your hand is full, it will still put a copy on the board for you. Yeah, I really couldn't believe that one.
** I recently found out that if your opponent doesn't kill that Fel Lord Betrug, then the second copy will die at the end of the turn. Though, I doubt most people are going to realize that. So it's actually a delayed reaction, and the two cards are probably working as they should.
Card Changes:
I'm not sure if Gloomstone Guardian fits, but it can help out vs aggro. And it can be a decent emergency card if you haven't forged it. I recently added the Sphere of Sapience. I think it works well here, and it can help you save a card if your hand is full. I'm not sure about all of the cheap spells either, but I like my current ones over past versions of this deck. I'm keeping the rest of the minions for now, but I'm sure there are other deathrattle and undead strategies to explore.
Mulligan:
Cheap spells for aggro (except Plot Twist). Table Flip is great, especially on the coin. I'll always keep Voidcaller. If you get one, you should keep a Big Demon as well. I'll also keep Sphere of Sapience. If you're not against aggro, look for Puppetmaster Dorian and Plot Twist.
In the end, it's just a high-roll deck. But there are some great synergies with the deathrattles. And your opponent most likely won't see it coming.
