Ok card to get cheap spellburst activators.
I think that is not worth in constructed, but can be good in arena.
By The Holy Light!
Cobalt Smolkin
I like this a lot, it's way faster than Spellkin and goes into a lot more decks (Spell Mage, Quest Shaman, potentially even Demon Hunter)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Small, useful, flexible.
Kind of reminds me of the lackeys. It is a small, okay-ish minion that adds another small resource to your hand. I think people will play this card for the same reason they played Cobalt Spellkin, the pool of 1-cost spells is limited enough you can safely add it to your deck and kind of know what you are going to get out of it. Only a 2 mana 2/2 is a lot easier to play than a 5 mana 3/5.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
It's like a mini Cobalt Spellkin (and not a dragon). I like it, can also help to set up for cool turns in Spell mage.
But why would you by something from her, if you don't know what you're getting?
Maybe in mage cause most 1 cost spells there are quite good but apart from that nah..
Need to see more mage cards to decide.. but the dual rogue/mage discover one is much better.
I think this along with Cobalt Spellkin will make it into a Mozaki combo deck where you generate a ton of 1-cost spells and then pop off with Mozaki to kill the opponent. Otherwise, a pretty neat card that also might support some battlecry + spell Shaman deck.
I loved Cobalt Spellkin when it was released and I try to find room for that minion in any deck that I want to play cheap spells in.
Being able to generate a 1 mana spell for 2 mana isn't terrible, in fact depending on the class it's really good -
Paladins have their secrets, Mages have the side quests and cheap removal, Rogues have various tools that generate cards, Demon Hunters have Twin Slice and Mana Burn, etc.
But when placing this minion in your deck you'll also need to look at the library of 1 mana spells available to your class and see if there's anything you'd have to be given - like a sidequest that doesn't have synergy with your deck, or a spell that removes all minions from your side of the board.
In a lot of cases it will probably be better to just slot in those 1 drop spells instead of this guy, but if you're looking for spell generation and RNG then he'll be a shoe in for sure
Hm slots into wild q mage nicly
Half of a spellkin. Probably not great going of how much play spellkin sees.
Unlikely to go anywhere as far as I see it.
This post is discussing the wild format.
So a non-dragon cheaper [Hearthstone Card (Cobolt Spellkin) Not Found]. I'm sure there can be some good uses for it.
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
That is non-trivial. I am not sure Cobalt Spellkin would be run as much if it had no tribe.
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
Probably more of an arena card, but looks like it could be decent enough in constructed
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Spellburst support. But if you want to trigger your spellburst - I guess there are more suitable cards for every class. I am not convinced by this one.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
This is a really nice card as a common. I dont imagine it will find its way into many established decks, but as a cheap card generator and something to play early, it is definitely playable and by no means bad, it just isnt really doing anything specific for you.

Nice. More mana efficient than Cobalt Spellkin, but less body. I'd use it.

Its just a smaller cobalt [Hearthstone Card (spellkin) Not Found].
And that's good enough honestly. If getting spells is the game, then this is perhaps even better than the former.
It's actually not too bad. It's actually a pretty good 2-drop for decks that like their spells, especially small spells. For certain Spellburst effects, it's not too bad as it will give you a cheap spell to activate them, and 1-Cost spells are generally pretty decent in most classes.
It's not good for every deck obviously, but it's definitely playable somewhere.
Pretty good! Could fill out some decks in standard depending on the class, probably an easy pick in arena.
Definitely a solid 2-drop for decks that care about spells. Not super interesting, but certainly fun
I think it's nice and decent but not enough to see serious play. Pretty much what you'd expect from a neutral common.
That is it, formal unofficial name ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Decent Card - Stats for 2 Mana are ok and the ability makes it even better.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I don't know, she seems to have quite a lot of body
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
It's a less clunky Cobalt Spellkin, which has seen play in decks even without Dragon synergy. This will definitely be at least experimented with in decks like aggro DH.
a Cobalt Spellkin that can actually fit in aggresive decks, needless to say i'm actually kinda scared of this card. This in DH CAN tutor more Twin Slices. Also it works well with spellburst, and will certainly see play in RNG decks like casino mage, cuz random wins games. (and i love it, keep charging my Yogg-Saron, Hope's End)
Also this also works with [that one forbidden WILD mage quest we don't talk about] as it has a lot of spell-chaining things going for it with cards like Magic Trick. This card looks really good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Lol mini spellkin, but without anything else to offer it is not that awesome.
Maybe, though currently there are a lot of good 1 mana spells for where you just want the value of those spells, plus the body.
Mini Coblat is gonna be good in odd decks
A cheaper Cobalt Spellkin. Not too bad. Decent 2 mama minion without drawback
Really good in the correct class
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Seems pretty decent. Almost like a neutral Dark Peddler.
Mini cobalt,but dont have tribe
Real nice card for spells
All hail the banshee queen.
I'll try it out.
I'm excited for this card because I like the Cyclone Mage style of decks; however, I know wild is not looking forward to another good tool for Wild Quest Mage.
I'm not sure this card will be good, but I'm excited to see if it finds a niche in a standard Cyclone Mage.
I see this fitting into Mage and Demon Hunter. Highlander Mage ran Firetree Witchdoctor when it was in standard and Wandmaker will always get you something to play in the early game. Combos well with Mage spellburst cards like Firebrand. Tempo Demon Hunter is currently running Cobalt Spellkin in some lists. Wandmaker gives the same effect and helps fill in the 2 and 3 curve which is kind of lacking in DH at the moment.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Cheap version of [Hearthstone Card (Cobalt Spellkin) Not Found]. Nice card. =)
Very useful in certain classes, discount spellkin.
Shaman, Rogue, and Mage spell combos
Mmmm, I can taste the Inner Fire already.
Good value for Arena
-=alfi=-
Spellburst support, kinda. Your mileage will vary a lot by class. Makes sense within the sets theme, just not very exciting.
Im excited to try this one out. :D
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
This an Cobalt Spellkin are giving enough fuel for a Ras Frostwhisper, Mozaki, Master Duelist OTK
I doubt ppl would actually put this in their decks, but it's not a bad discover option or arena card
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This type of generation is fairly specific and more reliable than other types of card generation. Demon Hunter might run this to try and get an extra Twin Slice or Consume Magic.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Solid 2 drop, both for constructed and for arena.
The randomness hurts it a little in some classes, but for others you can be pretty fine with any 1-Cost spell. Great in Arena, probably not really anything in constructed.
