Alec Dawson announced on Twitter tonight that the Hearthstone devs were in a meeting this week to talk about reverting card nerfs during the upcoming rotation. Due to the large number of cards rotating out of Standard this time, due to the new Core set seeing Basic & Classic taking a hike out of Standard town, there will be more cards reverted than usual.
- Around 30 cards will have their nerfs reverted.
- Some cards may not be fully unnerfed. We do not know to what extent this is.
- We don't have a set date for when this happens or any more information to share.

Given that Classic format will soon be added to the game, I assume it's somewhat safe to guess that one of the goals of the mass un-nerfs is to limit the number of "dual format" cards - ideally, they likely don't want 50+ cards that are different in different formats. Wild likely won't break if Big Game Hunter is reverted to 3-mana, for example. In the "olden days," all BGH targets were hard-casted, so that the tempo loss that accompanied a successful BGH activation would often effectively end the game - but now, most BGH targets are "cheated" into play, often for less than 3-mana.
They might also preferentially target classes like Hunter and Shaman, which are currently among the weakest in Wild - reverting both Starving Buzzard and Flametongue Totem to 2-mana is unlikely to cause serious balance issues. A 5-mana, 2-card combo that summons three or four doggies, and draws three or four cards, isn't exactly out-of-place in Wild, while Even Shaman needs a good 2-drop to activate their turn-1 "press the button and pass," which is currently too low-tempo for an aggressive deck to be competitive on ladder.

Im really hopig they unnerf all galakrond cards,
Draognqueen alex, Power word Shield, Execute, Fiery War axe, Warsong Dragoncaster, bloodsworn mercenary, chain gnag, bonemare, preperation, Bladeflurry (2mana no face dmg), Flametonque Totem, equality, buzzard, Nourish, ancient of lore(and make the heal 8 again which it once was), Equality, Rockbiter weapon, Extra arms, Necrium Apothecary, Rogue quest to 5/5's again.
Also leeching to be unnerfed(and can buff it to 1 from orginal 2 so got geist, deathwarden and stickyfingers agains, or just restore set amount of hp per hit just make it not a worthless pieceof crap).
Mana wyrm id like a s1/2 or 0/3(which it was in hs's Beta) also undertaker would be fine nowadays in wild, Also id like coldblood Personaly or just having it not be trash)
I wouldn't be surprised if they unnerf Archivist Elysiana, considering she doesn't see any play. Also wouldn't be surprised if they unnerf Dinotamer Brann and the Galakrond, the Tempest stuff. Also i hope Dragonqueen Alexstrasza will be unnerfed to have 0 mana dragons (But still have the "can't go infinite" nerf). That wouldn't even be problematic really, as most (popular) highlander decks in wild don't even run her lol.
I just hope they wont revert the Mogu Fleshshaper and Conjurer's Calling nerfs.
If they change archevist i hoep buff her to 7 instead of 8. So odd warrior can still play it.

Oh yeah true, ODD Warrior plays it. I hope they will either buff her to 7 mana, or let Archivist Elysiana stay at 9 mana. If Archivist Elysiana is EVEN costed she will actually see 0 play.
My reasoning behind Conjurer's Calling is that the card was very unfun to play against at 3 mana and i feared that it could become problematic in the future, that's mainly why i didn't want to see the nerf referted. But after thinking about it again, most games are over before you can stick a giant and go to town with Conjurer's Calling, so i think seeing that nerf reverted might not be that bad after all.

Also I would love Dino Tamer Brann and Dragon Queen Alexstrasza back (Not the part were she could discover herself, that is a nono)
Then, Arcane Golem, Powerword:Shield, Warsong Commander (I do not think patreon warrior would be that bad now) and maybe Ironbeak owl (in case it does not come back to standar)
Id rather owl get a stat bfuf so odd decks can still have a silence(even if is just small 1 stat point
if isnt gonna be in the coreset/standard.
Also NO to arcane golem, a 3mana 4/2 Charge lets not. Id rather give it rush and a extra stat point(or no rush and be a 5/5 atleast)
Is Patreon Warrior a combo where you ask the opponent to give you their Coin?
The entirety of Galakrond shaman I hope. Would love to play that deck in full power in wild.
I still miss my Reno Galakrond Shudderwock shaman. Got Legend in Wild with it once before the nerfs.
Why are you guys downvoting this? Gala Shaman was broken in Standard, yeah, but it played pretty fair for Wild standards.
100% fair it wasnt even tier 1 and ti was the Strongest of the galakronds.
All galakrond cards are 100% safe to unnerf.
