I think this is pretty good.

5 Mana 5/5 Taunt is decent enough but if you managed to heal up with lets say a 0 Mana Card or even the 1 Mana Spell on turn 6 or 5 with Coin this is an 8/8 ... very good in my oppinion.

They really seem to be pushing a more...."interactive" Priest playstyle....let's hope they remember to give them a minimum of tempo/card draw so we don't just go back to afking into winconditions again.

Granted it lends itself to the fantasy and play style of priests, it just feels to slow and fair

The art looks cool .The effect is great 5 8/8 but you have to heal something to get it you can combo it with the new 0 cost card .Need to see other heal cards to really value this  cause up until now this can be an 8/8 on turn 7 most of the time,6 if you have the 1 cost heal card and on 5 with the new card .

Most likely a 7mana 8/8 with taunt, which is solid. But it will probably only see play in plays with a lot of heals. Seems like a solid addition to any tempo priest (so none at least in the moment)

Conditional big body in a class that can't really draw. Im not feeling it.

Occasionally this can surprise your opponent, but most likely its because you decided to play this card at all.

These big taunt priest cards are looking like pure Paladin. Always save Kayn Sunfury. 

Priest can usually reduce the cost of spells. A reduced healing spell into this seems good.

The "4 Mana 7/7" for Palladin from Rasthakan wasn't played. I guess this will share the same fate. But this is more easy to trigger and is a decent anti-aggro tool.

Card is good, but not great and won't see play

Even with the buff, it's just an 8/8 Taunt, which is relatively easy to deal with nowadays.

Although the card is cool, and the art is fantastically dynamic, I don't expect it to find a place in many Priest decks.

Actually good stats for the cost, especially with stuff like Renew

Getting Priest of An'she to be an 8/8 taunt on turn 5 is pretty easy with Desperate Prayer, making both cards look like serious contenders for a control or midrange priest that needs to survive an aggro-heavy metagame. It also has basically no competition in the 5-mana slot in Priest, which is what I expect will push this up from just playable to a highly relevant Priest card.

It's alright, but I don't think Priest wants THAT many expensive taunts in their decks. Having the holy elemental is good enough

This seems quite good in almost any priest deck honestly. Tempo priest enjoys it because it can be a easy 5 mana 8/8 and tempo priest seems like they really like healing stuff in order to boost the attack on their Crimson Clergy or protect their other cards. Control Priest might want it because it's a 5 mana 5/5 with taunt that can become a 8/8 easely. It also has some good synergy with Desperate Prayer, Lightshower Elemental and Renew. Priest of An'she will see plenty of play.

Taunt is what makes this good

This is really nice, remains relevant in late games, too

Actually I played the Zandalari Templar successfully in wild, unfortunately in Standard it did not have enough support

Buff priest could work greatly

5 mana is a lot esspecially if you have to also spend mana to heal. at that level of mana you want abilities to impact the game and not a pure 8/8 taunt. 

Works on turn 5 with Desperate Prayer and a very good aggro stomper, should* see play

*It's possible priest will have better archetypes where this card isn't used.

Rez Priest is dead anyway, so that's not relevant.

Tempo Priest and Control Priest are the wave of the future, and this fits pretty well in both of those.

Renew is still around so I think this is pretty solid.

As long as you use a low cost heal with this it could be a good card

Damn, Preist is getting some pretty beefy Taunts this expac. Good synergy with Desperate Prayer and Renew as the cheapest ways to activate (barring some healing effect on the board), but I don't think it's enough as is to be good. Needs a bit more of a push.

It doesn't seem terrible but don't think it will see much play. If you use your Hero Power it is a 7 mana 8/8 taunt which isn't that incredible. And most tempo-based strategies don't want to have to combo multiple cards together to get one big guy, you would rather just have an independently strong card instead.

I don't really like this one honestly. It just feels like a 5/5 taunt for 5 that can gain a bit of stats if you go out of your way and spend some mana to heal something.

Seems totally ok.   Solid piece if it fits into a deck as a supporting piece,  but otherwise, just ok.

I really don't think so, it's just not impactful enough by itself and priest doesn't have enough draw to justify running low-impact cards. Maybe some kind of miracle priest, but that would not run Priest of An'she. But I'm happy to be proven wrong!

I think with spells like Renew or Desperate Prayer this will be a decent delay minion.

More control for priest

These days, most cards need to be more than just a pile of stats. Priest of An'she is just a pile of stats, unfortunately. In fact, it's a conditional pile of stats, and the condition is pretty passive. 

It's pretty bonkers in arena though.

If enough support for turn 4-5 is there for Priest to come, then this on 6 with a cheap healing spell is gonna do wonder for control archetypes

7 mana 8/8 taunt is..fine? I don't know how excited I am about getting a 1 mana discounted Ironbark Protector

There is so much potential for this.  It's so easy to heal in Priest, especially with Desperate Prayer for free

I like this card priest will heal everything this expansion.

This is pretty good. At worst it is a seven mana (card + hero power) 8/8 taunt. In the best situations with the right spell discounts it can be an easy 5 mana 8/8 taunt. Pretty good for control decks.

Seriously, seems like a straight up useful control priest play. 

I think the bonus will be pretty easy to proc and it's a meaty card on Turn 5. Too slow to be meta-defining, but it's a nice tool. 

I don't see this being a thing. We have Fortune Teller and doesn't see much use. I think if we want a good taunt the Fairground Fool is the best way to go as it can get pulled back by Rally!

with renew u can get this on turn 6, best case scenario lifesteal + coin then turn 4, priests might use this, even without its effect 5-5 taunt is better than nothing

Pretty easy activation with how many good heal spells there are in priest so it is essentially a 5 mana 8/8 most of the time. Unfortunately, ressurect decks can't abuse this.

I doubt this will be good. It seems like it's a big 5-cost guy, when in fact it's Ironbark Protector+.

Maybe with some 0- mana heal spell it could be viable.

5 mana 8/8 taunts are good. If you can reliably play it on turn 5, it'll see play. If you can't do it reliably until turn 6 or 7, it's still good but I don't know if it will make the cut

OK card, not sure it qualifies as an epic. A rare card would be a better fit.

Pretty easy to achieve effect in this class. I like that Priest are getting a lot of taunts. 

Just add Desperate Prayer.

well, a 5/5 on curve isn't terrible either, but yeah, for full benefit it implies turn 5 at the earliest, with a coin and/or a cheap (discounted) healing spell

On the bright (heh) side, Lightwell, where are you?

Mostly just a pile of stats, even if you do happen to trigger the battlecry. Sure, it has taunt and maybe some taunt/heal/res priest will pop up. Lightshower Elemental will be in there, but I'm not sure this card will be.

Not super excited about this. It isn't awful or anything, its playable, but I don't think it will ever be a card that gets into a deck unless its like the 30th card just as a mediocre 5 drop to fill in a curve that can sometimes be more than that.

Desperate Prayer, what a beautiful card.

Will see play. Even hero power + this is a 7 mana 8/8 taunt, which is perfectly fine. Add 0- and 1-cost healing spells into the mix and you've got a powerful card.

I question how consistently you can get the effect on curve, which is when the extra stats are more impactful. Void Drinker has one less attack, but can be more easily played on curve as it doesn't demand a same turn set up, and Drinker only sees sparing play in Warlock. Also, Control Priest hasn't historically cared about the stats of minions, but rather the effects of minions, of which there are more effective taunts like Lightshower Elemental. Maybe Priest of An'she sees play in a Tempo Priest that Team 5 keeps pushing, but that archetype has never been able to succeed with the lack of efficient draw Priest has.

Will probably see play, but I've seen so many similar cards in the past, it's boring. Also, I'm always sceptical about minions in Priest, as they usually don't go along with their win condition. This is not a great ress target either.

Against some agro/face deck this card will work well with Desperate Prayer, but most likely we will play it after turn 6 or 7 to ensure the activation of the battlecry. Probably is an avarage card

Nice big boy for Healin' Priest. Good roadblock for aggro, and a good sized minion to force removal from slower decks. I think this has potential in Control decks.

Priest can usually find a way to get some extra Health in a turn, and even if you have to HP it's still better stats than you'd otherwise get for the cost. Maybe a bit slow?

Even healing with your hero power, this is a beast.

I like this card for the value that it offers, but I worry that most of the time it won't be much of a tempo play, since it requires another card to be played or the hero power to be cast.  It's still a good card, but the effect certainly isn't free.
