We're celebrating Nozdormu Day! The 15th of every month, starting last month, celebrates this beautiful bronze dragon and this month is certainly no exception.
If you want to participate in Nozdormu Day, you're in luck because all players can do so for free:
- Remove a card from one of your favourite decks and replace it with Nozdormu the Eternal.
- Queue up for a game with your new deck.
- Hopefully encounter another player with Nozdormu and have fun playing speedstone!
We're recommending that you play decks that aren't reliant on long combos or multiple actions in general. Playing minions with basic effects or casting simple spells will do you wonders with maximizing your 15-second turn time. Though, the better you are at adapting to the short periods of thinking will allow you to play some of the more complicated decks, so don't rule everything out.
You may want to queue on the casual ladder to not only prevent any potential ranked losses, but to also increase your chances of finding an opponent with Nozdormu. If everyone keeps themselves in one mode, and there isn't an MMR to worry about, we can increase our chances of speedstone success.
Why is the 15th of Each Month Nozdormu Day?
The 15th of each month is Nozdormu Day because it is a reference to the 15 seconds that each player has to take their turn when Nozdormu is present in both decks.

I played a limited sample size of games yesterday, but sadly didn't run into any other Nozdormu gamers. Thank you for the reminder of the event - I will be back for more next month!
I added Nozdormu to my standard Control Priest list (changed Ysera for it).... No one wanted to play blitz hearthstone... So sad... Guess very few people actually want to have fun
No Nozdormu match for me. Did anyone here actually thought this would work? I was highly suspicious, but I would have at least expected like one game in 15-20 tries or so. But no. Again this is proof, that without incentive people simply do not care. Conclusion is that events without incentive can be scrapped altogether (sad but true).
Played around 30 games and had Noz matchup once.
Someone instaconceded when I played Noz out and added me to say they had been trying it but gave up so that was cool.

Oh, you're all just going to keep playing the usual meta garbage. Ok then.
So sad. If only there were a mode where we could just play and enjoy hearthstone. I played hearthstone for over an hour in standard and just kept conceding at diamond 5. Didn't find a single Nozdormu.
Then I switched to casual and found a single Noz deck in around 25 games. So disappointing. And could be easily remidied. Just give double Exp to any deck playing Nozdormu on the 15th, announce it beforehand. Boom, you're done.
They should make a cool feature like double the xp for those who play Nozdormu that day to encourage people playing it, I still have met 0 Nozdormu today, in about 15-20 games...
This is a great idea! No one is using it, so those of us who are trying to are just getting bashed by the usual top-tier garbage.
I only played 3 matches today, but 0 opponents with Nozdormu. I don't think this is going to work unless they adapt the matchmaking to pair up people playing Nozdormu.

We could always create a forum post for this Noz event and invite ppl to play against. Sure it's not ranked, but least you get to experience the 15 second timer and it'll help improve your skills in the process
I must confess that I include Nozdormu on every deck I play when I get to diamond 5.
I only have played with 2 players that are using the old Noz since the barrens launched.
And right now I am at 78/150 wins with him, and I want to get the 500 someday.
PD: I only play on mobile, so, at least for me, people who doesn't play him because you can't play well on mobile is just an excuse for no playing The Timeless at all

They should totally have a tavern brawl with Noz.
Make it win 1 or play 2 for the pack in order to cater for mobile players - or just a separate brawl if it's mobile.
I don't realy get why mobile is such a problem. I played apm priest on mobile in the past and honestly, the fact that you can use both fingers for quick card slinging is allmost an advantage imo.
