Crazy expansion for Arena, so many strong filler cards
no quest disruption at all?
I'd be truly amazed if all those cool 8+ mana thingies make it past Warrior Q, Mage Q, Warlock Q solitaire.
one can dream, huh? :-)
They've been testing this for months, so they must be pretty confident it's tuned to overcome Questline pressure. If they're wrong, they'll almost certainly nerf the Questlines again, because they want people to see value in buying new packs. So I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.
Cavalry Horn
I called the big paladin support. I guess the two nickels from those two 8 mana paladin minions aren't for nothing.
Well, we finally got all the frost spells we wanted for freeze shaman. Just wait till it becomes a Tier 1 deck, then everyone who returns to HS from a year long break will be like...errr wtf happened to HS?!
TBH I am not convinced that Freeze Shaman is going to be good. Three of Shaman's freeze cards are excellent but I do not believe there is enough pay off to justify running another other than Windchill, Frostbite, Sleetmaker, and maybe Wildpaw Cavern.
I'm pretty sure everyone who has been gone since Darkmoon Faire will be saying that anyway :P
Flux, where did you get the art for the New Coin?
He can datamine, so the data may have been in the game files.
I know but they usually upload the game files in their database and the coin is not there. Flux recently let people in on a "secret" filter to see which game files were added on a specific patch. I guess they're holding onto some info for future Outof.cards content. (prevent it from being shared by others when it was them who datamined it.)
But where to get the data files?
The flavor text of Snowfalll Guardian is over the top!
Looking at so many of these cards, it would appear that we've gone to yet another level with the powerlevel. Its fairly obvious that team5 is trying to push control strats, with so many cards that either freezes, cheap taunts, and even cheaper removals.
Honor kill is going to at least be more successful than overkill at first glance, because team5 really pushed this keyword hard. I did notice that there is a huge number of honor kill cards triggering with 2 health minions, which means it'll likely push these guys out of the game. Looks like this might be the one expansion where we dont just jam Cult Neophyte everywhere.
They're actually just shitposting with Deathrattle Rogue at this point.
"Lmao, just play somebody else's deathrattles you dumb cuck"
Oh well, next expansion then.
You could set up an OTK with the Landmark, the Owl and the DR weapon.
Gankster+Ramming Mount looks like a frustrating thing to play against. You'll have to sacrifice (probably) something to unstealth it and then have 4 damage worth of removal to clear it.
Some classes this year are all over the place from this year's releases.
Demon Hunter - Barrens (Deathrattle), Stormwind (Card draw, Fel), Alterac (Big Demon, Token)
Druid - Barrens (Beast, Nature, Taunt), Stormwind (Hero Attack, Token), Alterac (Ramp, Beast, Choose One)
These are just two examples but it seems like this across the board.
On one hand, it's nice to have plenty of options to create decks. But at the same time, it is frustrating as the continued sprinkle here and there will never make anything super synergistic like Pirate Warrior.
well that's why you can play wild
Current wild: Quest mage, Quest warrior, Quest odd hunter
Not really, it's mostly Odd Quest Hunter, Odd Pirate Warrior and the occasional Even Warlock.
For mage it's Ignite Mage.
Also I imagine, in the next year's core set they will take some cards from other sets that never got to shine when they got introduced. That is to help archetypes they tried to push in this year.
