Quote From Blizzard As the Battle for Silvermoon rages on, a massive shadow blots out the sun. To their horror, the Blood Elves see a floating necropolis, Naxxramas, approaching their fair city. This evil entity is unnatural, but something about it feels familiar. They brace themselves and call for help. This is the March of the Lich King Mini-Set, Return to Naxxramas!
Return to Naxxramas, launching worldwide on February 14, consists of 38 new cards: 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card, 17 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. Those new cards can either be opened in March of the Lich King Packs or purchased as a complete 72-card set.* Normal versions of the Mini-Set can be purchased in-game only, for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones. The all-Golden version can be purchased for $69.99 or, for the first time ever, 10,000 Gold. The Golden Mini-Set option also includes a bonus Diamond Legendary!
Return to Naxxramas unlocks Death Knight’s full potential with the class’s first Location and Colossal cards! But the Lich King isn’t the only one getting support. The Mini-Set also includes all-new Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game! Check out the official Hearthstone Card Library for a full reveal calendar as the necropolis draws near.
Comments
Switcheroo can backfire by making test subject too healthy... Hm maybe circle dor pyro cleric comboes
Ah yes, while you could drop some of the high health minions, that does not apply to Radiant Elemental as it is part of the combo.
The only downside to Rotting Necromancer is that it competes with your other undead for Bonecaller resurrections. Besides that, it fits in perfectly to undead priest's gameplan, especially in helping you consistently fish up the deathrattle-y mainstays.
These priest cards will likely at some point get Sister Svalna nerfed.
Cannibalize for example is just straight up illegal in a deck that can infinitely discover it. We want priest to be viable, not annoy the shit out of our lives.
Wasn't Priest like this like, for whole lifespan? I mean, Ress Priest, Big Priest, Raza Priest, Mind Blast OTK Priest, Divine Spirit Priest back then, Bless Priest not a long time ago, and so on and so on
As far as I remember, the only time Priest wasn't THAT annoying was when control version with Archbishop Benedictus was shining, I loved 30+ min games with that deck lol
Dragon Priest was viable a few times (not top tier, but good enough for climbing). And the recent Thief Priest wasn't too bad.
But I do agree with your point: when Priest is good, it very often becomes annoying.
Most decks aren't annoying from the perspective of the person playing it ;)
Oh, it WAS irritating yet I enjoyed it because I love control style decks ^^
Hunter cards:
Faithful Companions, remember Guardian Animals? This is it now. It will find place in big beast hunter for sure. Double King Krush, double the fun. And then Revive Pet for more fun.
ZOMBEEEES!!! - BEEEES!!! with extra step, a little better Snipe
Trinket Tracker - no idea, tech in minion heavy deck to draw specific spell?
Priest cards:
Rotting Necromancer - cool, Mind Blast on a minion
Mind Sear - also cool card, damn spell priest in duels will be even more annoying
Cannibalize - 1st thought - terrible, Divine Hymn was cheaper and better, then I noticed there is no "friendly minion", so kill enemy and get healed. It's probably one of the best destroy-single-target in game.
4 neutral cards opinion - only Mistake is not a mistake.
Mistake is a mistake. That shit gonna get nerfbat among the first batch for sure.
I'm not sure: once upon a time it would have been broken, but we've had quite a bit of power creep since then. I expect it to be good, but not first in line for nerfs.
This is a pretty big art fail with Sindragosa. All the other colossal minions were made from one large image, this one clearly wasn't, what with the main body at a different angle and (unless the same image accidentally got used twice) the two right wings.
Nah, it's not fail. It's done from one image and she has both wings. It's probably site error because both wings have same name.
Sindragussy
This is how I'll always call this card now.
LMAOOO amazing
The legendarys are looking "meh" for me so far.
I am not sure if I should by the mini-set or not. :/
What do you think?
There's one more legendary unrevealed, and the epic is at least a nice consideration.
Rivendare, Warrider would probably be a good option for most slower decks so I wouldn't call it a meh card.
Personally, I'd buy the set if only because its only 2k gold and that's a good deal to me. 20 packs net you about 1-2 legendaries + 1000 dust on average. Probably end up spending all that dust on the commons/rares that'll see play anyway.
Mistake is officially the best name of any card ever.
I think it’s Lord J’s favorite, too! “MISTAKE!!!”
