I have not played a lot this season, I have experimented a bit with several decks without investing a lot of time on ranked, so I have not yet reached my objective (Rank 5). But I still have time.
How is/was your climb this month? Did you give up because of shamans? Did you join the Face Hunter army? Tell us!

Doing pretty well with Galakrond Warrior. It doesn't really seem to have any strictly bad matchups, but every game is a test of skill (to an extent at least) since playing Galakrond is slow, but also essential.
Occasionally I switch to Paladin Paladin just to punish Face Hunters, because fuck those guys.
been going from rank 25 to rank 23. Really proud of myself
Tried a ton of homebrew decks at rank 4. Currently my favorite has to be a druid with the usual auctioneer plus 0/1 mana spells to go through the deck then nomi, ysera, and floop to finish the game off quickly. Also enjoyed some of admirable’s warrior decks that I found on Zalae’s channel and highlander hunter. Loving the variety of decks you can play competitively this meta. Hopefully the face hunters go away soon! :)
Played a bit of dragon druid in standard but it felt too fair to be honest. Has anyone tried the new treant druid so far?
Guess I'll give pirate warrior a shot now since its matchup spread seems pretty decent. Should easily make it to rank 5, still.
Been messing around on rank 5. No intention for legend. Bit of healing druid against all those simple minds that play face hunter...
Been climbing pretty steadily with Gahz'rilla hunter. Started at 15 and now I'm at 11. It's the highest I'v been and also the second time I bothered to climb (started last month from 25 to 14) .
Idk why it's working but it is so I ain't gonna complain.
I've been playing with Galakrond Rogue: unfortunately I don't have a really good winrate (52% or so), but I'm slowly grinding my way out. I should get to rank 3 by the end of the day and then who knows.
I'd like to craft Heistbaron Togwaggle since I miss it, but that card is awful in Wild, so...
Been grinding out DR rogues and Face Hunters with quest priest
I just hit the first time legend with an Galakrond warrior.
I destroyed every Hunter and shaman and only struggled a little bit against rogue decks.
Everyone who struggles against these matchups should try this deck!
Note that this is a more oriented deck,with a lot of burst damage and early game control.

Haven't played Ranked in Standard mode, but I might play some in near future with more cards. Probably going to play Galakrond Priest if I get some more cards for Standard mode - got some pieces already (maybe getting Kronx soon will prove helpful).
Hit legend with Galakrond Shaman pre-nerf... now playing a mixture of odd decks, including Mech Paladin (new list from last meta), and it is going surprisingly well.
Only fooling around between 10 and 6 since I already reached 5 in wild. I really enjoy the variety of viable decks after the nerfs. Anubisath Rogue, Pirate Warrior, homebrew secret / hero power Hunter, Highlander Hunter, everything has a decent chance. Loving it!
Trying out some mage decks but I get faced by face hunter real bad and also the deathrattle rogues are annoying. Basically everything that tries to get out of control before turn 6 is giving me a headache. Probably should add more armor/healing...I have no mage answer to the face hunter yet.
I haven't laddered for 2 months so it took my a while to get back to rank 5. Bomb Warrior feels really solid imo, didn't encounter any terrible match-ups:
This is probably not an optimized list, but Hoard Pillager feels powerful in this deck. I'm also liking EVIL Quartermaster (but you can run Shield Block instead I suppose). Slam draws or acts as removal vs Aggro decks, but I also used Loot Hoarder and Frightened Flunky before and they weren't bad either.
