I FINALLY REACHED LEGEND !

Ladies and Gentleman I finally did it. After playing the game for about 3 Years ( I started in February 2015 but took a few longer breaks here and there, could never stop myself from downloading it again tho ) I have reached legend at last. I feel so uneblievably relieved my dudes you would not believe it... For all this time I allways told myself that I COULD do it but just wouldnt have the time... Still it allways stayed on my bucket list. I dont know why I am posting this, I kinda just wanna tell someone how good I feel right now. Shoutout to the three Endbosses I had to face until I finally did it. 
But holy crap the grind is unreal I will never ever do it again haha.

By the way I did it with Zoolock for anyone whos interested :)

  • Many congrats dude! That takes a massive amount of time and patience, no doubt. It's on my to-do list as well, but who knows if I'll ever find the time. Enjoy that feeling!

  • Congratulations, well done! I really feel you, just had the same experience last month with mech hunter :-) Such a great feeling!

    What are your plans now? I have reduced my hs playtime a lot since reaching legend, playing only fun decks on ranks 5 and 4 (pogo rogue, jepetto hunter, face warrior). I also stopped playing casual because now I've reached my goal I no longer care if I lose in standard, so I can do the daily quests on ladder as well. If anything I'm looking forward to be thrown back to rank 10 or even higher because now I just want to enjoy myself and get some more golden heroes.

    • I feel you anchorm4n :D I am really just gonna play some fun decks now as well I think. Im gonna enjoy this month while I am still Legend but after that Im just gonna chill in the ranks from 10 to 1 as well :D

  • Well done! Yeah, there is definitely a skill prerequisite, but the grind is also required to get there. Day9 had some interesting comments about how he felt after his first grind to legend a while back (on YouTube). 

    I got legend for the first time in Wild earlier this year. Now I main standard, and I usually hit rank 3 or 4, but I’m not sure if I’ll try and make the push to legendin Standard due to the grind. It definitely felt good to get there at all. 

    Now my focus is on getting my last golden hero...good to have goals!!

  • Congrats! Welcome to the club. After reaching legend, there really is no reason to grind high ranks. However, obtaining all 9 golden heroes is still something I wish to accomplish in this game!

    • I went for golden heroes as I started going for legend, so I've got 4 now. But I'll never get priest because F priest.

  • I also started long ago (end of TGT), yet I have never tried to grind to Legend. Never had the guts for up-and-downs, without even the winstreaks.

  • Congratulations! I have only ever gotten legend once. I really only wanted the cardback that says 'I made it!' but I am not grinding that again. 

    really, getting legend almost felt a little disappointing, the game does not really give you much to congratulate you for your efforts except for maybe 100 dust or something.

      The first Fireside Gathering I went to after getting legend someone asked what the card back I had equipped was. Proudly said it was my newly acquired Legend card back and was told "Oh, that looks a bit underwhelming, other card backs look much nicer than that".

      Then I cried.

  • Congrats indeed, I only ever reached Legend simply for the card back and to say that i'd done it, personally right now I would never attempt it again because of how grindy it is and the end of season rewards is only 40-50 dust more than rank 5, which is why most months I go rank 5 and no further because it's just not worth it, but well done for achieving it, good job. :)
