You forgot about how if you play Targon vs other Targon decks, it usually boils down to whoever levels up Sol first. Jokes aside, I can understand your frustration, but you should probably consider trying to tune your deck to hyper aggro if you don't get Targon in your draft expedition. In either case, the bonus to get Targon stuff should subside in a week or two and the drafts will go back to normal distributions.
The best part of the deck was using the many Zenith Blades, along with burst spells to essentially negate my opponents removal. Zenith blades made my Fizz stick to the board better and be a bigger threat on chip damage, and burst spells helped prevent any sort of removal used against him. It was honestly a huge surprise to see this deck do so well. And made me consider how viable a fizz/targon deck might be.
So anyhow lucky draws aside, I did have a question about expeditions...
Since I got 7 wins on my first trial, I got the 1600 bonus exp for the 7 wins. However, In the past when I've gotten 6 or 7 wins. I would go on to play a 2nd trial (just for fun). However, when I open my rewards at the end of my usually worse 2nd trial...my rewards have felt like they were extremely sub par for 6 or 7 wins.
If I go 7 wins in the first trial, but then like 2 or 3 wins in the 2nd trial....does it take my 2nd trials results over my 1st trials for the rewards (regarding cards/capsules/shards?).
I actually started playing Wild last month first time for 5 years because of this Reno Priest deck. Spent like 50k dust for full golden deck and results aren't disappointing so far :D. I'm having so much fun, much more than Standard now.
In what ways do you think that LoR is based on swing plays? The only example of that I can think of is “They Who Endure” and maybe “Swain/Leviathan.” I do agree that in general there are relatively few removal options compared to the number of threats, but I think that makes gameplay interesting because your power cards don’t get removed the turn they are played. I’d love to hear your thought process because that problem wasn’t even really on my radar.
I can't believe how toxic people are. There's no reason to flame someone when he's just motivating his choice. If you don't care about it, just go elseway or stfu.
Anyway, I also quit playing since 2 weeks. The reasons are many and I'm feeling hopeless about the game itself.
First reason, I'm bored AF to wait 4 months to get new cards that sinergies with the ones that came out 1 year ago. I don't understand what is Team 5 doing or waiting. They need to make a change asap because people get bored of playing just after 1 mont since release of an expansion. I would like to get new cards each month to keep the hype alive. Some kind of mini set of 55 cards obtainable from packs (like yu-gi-ho). No more expansions, just mini sets focused on balancing the game while keeping it fun!
Second reason, balance and synergies. But you've already explained the problems... I want to add that some class seems very sketchy and unfun. Mechanics becames un-creative and Discover feels the only thing that matter. Because having more cards became way more important of having the right cards...
I don't want to say anything more, It would be really boring...
I've missed all the discussion this week, but managed to sneak an entry in just before close. I'll be more active next week, but it's looking like a strong start to the new season!
Yeah all the Modal land spells are amazing, I'd be very surprised if they don't make a big impact on standard and other formats. Especially the bolt lands, which don't really have a downside for the most part.
meister I see 10 nerds arguing over the minuitie of a forum post that barely deserved a glance. What would you call it other than buyers remorse you gigantic tool. Lolz, you guys are hilarious every response is just an indictment of how incredibly sad your life is. I pity you truthfully. Tell me I'm wrong.

That land/counterspell is awesome. Yes it comes tapped, but in many matchups that one crucial counterspell is big and in other you need mana.
This will be played for 100%.
This is counterspell you can fetch with spells drawing lands!
BDW opponent must live in constant fear of you having that Perturbation in hand all the time as probably all blue decks will play it. And this can screw you game plan by itself.
Yeah this meta seems to be really polarizing for the most part. Personally I've been having a blast with it and I know a lot of others who have the same, but there's still a lot of games that go "oh well they had the nuts guess I die" which can feel pretty rough a lot of the time.
Over time card games evolve and change how they are played completely all the time, for better or for worse. Like a great example is with MTG's Modern format, where you have cards like Splinter Twin, which used to be a meta-defining card, being on the same banlist as a card like Hogaak, which for reference kills you on turn 3 like, 65%~ of the time. The format is still great to play and all, it's just different now than it was a couple years back and I don't think that is inherently bad.
As for going completely cold-turkey on the game, I'd totally recommend doing that. Playing a game that you don't find enjoyable is only going to make you become more jaded. Maybe next time a new expansion or nerfs come out, check out the meta and see if it's something you'd want to play again. Lord knows I've done that with this game numerous times. If the game never does recapture that feeling that made you fall in love with it originally, hopefully you can look back at the time spent fondly. All that said, hope to see you around still!
I'm not beholden to any of you, I offer a free service giving you informative meta updates you can take it or leave it.
The reality is TF Swain is undoubtedly the best deck in the game, and any other list with Sejuani, TF, or Gangplank does just about as well.
Bilgewater is great, and It is absolutely dominating the tier lists of both the pro player variety, and mobalytics.
So all your butt hurt I spent money on this so waaah it has to be good...I just don't have time for it.
Grow up you guys.
The idea that you're providing a "free service" and that anyone who disagrees with you is just "butt hurt" over the "truth" that you're espousing is exactly the kind of vanity I'm talking about.

Thanks for the weekly wild content. I love it!
Yeah, not playing expeditions anymore.

7 Wins Expedition - First time in new expansion
Just got 7 wins with the following deck:
Proof:

I'm quitting Hearthstone (again, but for real this time)
I also quit the game... because my phone couldn’t handle the game’s weight and dropped my FPS to 0.5 lolololol
Yeah, not playing expeditions anymore.
When I play Targon with invoke cards I win. If I play other regions, I lose. Or it's a mirror match.
Not fun :(

Mirror match lol.
A Wild Hearthstone Weekend Featuring the Best Wild Meta Decks to Play
Indeed I'm afraid of Big Shaman in the post-nerf meta.
At first I thought Tortollan Mage might be the new threat, but I like to think that Aggro decks can keep it in check. Or Flik Skyshiv.
But what can effectively counter Big Shaman powered by Lightning Bloom?

I'll get dust from 1 x golden Secret Passage and 2 x Darkglare.
I dont see darkglare ever being played again.
I kept golden guardian animals, lightning bloom and Blessing of authority as I reckon they'll before nerfed before too long.

Targon champs not being a win condition is a wrong statement. Leveled up Aurelion Sol is unbeatable unless you kill him before he can do anything.
