Man, I'm digging this theme here, it gives me the vibe of a royally ornate fantasy style castle with the magics of the magus. Even better is that there's sinister activity going on underneath which has me really looking forward to story in the later months.
Also, the board for this expansion is definitely added to my array of favorite boards, really dig the two different atmosphere there.
Yeah, a couple of months ago it started off as being "Wednesday Brawls", aka you could only queue for brawl matches on Wednesday, and the only other times you could be by direct challenging someone. WotC then got the brilliant idea of charging people 10k gold to give them permanent access to a Brawl queue for a month or two. Once the Coronavirus started getting taken seriously in the US, WotC decided to open up the queue for free and just recently decided to keep it free forever.
They've had a different 'rotation of game modes' in the past, like Artisan, Omniscience Draft, Momir Vig, and the super fun Momir Vig Oko Edition, so it would not surprise me if Jumpstart joins that special group of formats.
Nothing I'd consider stand-out, but it should be a nice addition to divine shield synergy. Reminds me a bit of the [Hearthstone Card (Glass Knight) Not Found] from Witchwood.
So this is largely like a neutral version of Arcane Flakmage that can use any spell instead of just secrets, with the trade off that it only happens once and affects your minions as well. Not a bad deal in my opinion.
I hope the introduction of dual class cards pans out better than it did with the tri-class cards in Gadgetzan. Cause boy did failed multi-class mechanics drag down the classes saddled with them. The only one of the Goons classes that survived that power-level massacre was Warrior because screw handbuffing, we got Pirates up in here. And the mechanics that worked out (singleton, Jade Shaman/Druid) made the game feel samey as hell. Every Mage/Warlock/Priest was the same controlly shit with minor card variations (Reno and Kazakus potions were the most impactful cards for the outcome of the game and those stayed constant between the classes) and the only difference between Shaman and Druid was which flavour of green dudes they played: Midrange or Control?
I was kinda hoping they learned their lesson from that. Even if this isn't a complete "tri-class mechanic", if these cards are good enough, they'll appear in both classes all the time. Think "strong neutrals but stronger because class specific". That'll get old fast when 1/5th of the decks you face run the same shit. And that's assuming equal popularity for all classes. It'll more likely be more like 1/4th.
It's totally different this time around, there are not 5 dual classes groups.. some cards are just dual classed, so you won't have a deck with ALL the dual classed card that is the same deck than the other class cause they are spread (there are DH/warlocka and DH/hunter cards) so it's different.
Basicly Devolve and Arcane Missiles in one. Seems really good! Cheap transform effect. Allows you to play 2 transform effects in Highlander decks. (This + Polymorph in mage, and Hex in shaman) 3 Missiles are often enough, but i do wonder: can these missiles hit the same target multiple times? If so than this might be a bit less reliable, but still amazing! Imagine someone dropping a Khartut Defender, and then you cast Devolving Missiles to turn the Khartut Defender into a random 3 drop. Also this card screws over ress-priests over A LOT. and I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT!
I wish your thread wasn´t buried by the threads for new cards so i could read it before i rerolled my quest, i can confirm my quest just went poof too. T.T
I like that you can purchase a card back for gold. Although you can get it by just beating the Curse of Naxx, who am I to judge. I would like to see some of the other older card backs become available like this
Its a monthly reward not the naxx adventure card back
Looks like there a bug in 17.6 :( I tried to reroll a daily quest and it killed the quest completely. I had 3 quests originally now only have 2.... without playing ofc...
This card is NUTS in wild. This card is also amazing in standard! This lets druid Innervate or Coin into Lightning Bloom into Overgrowth to ramp a lot. This also basicly "Removes" the downside for druid. For shaman this might be usefull for OTK? Probably good for Malygos Shaman, as you will be able to use malygos without lowering costs, and just cast a bunch of 1 mana spells thanks to mana generated by Lightning Bloom.
Generally 0 mana cards find a way to break the game, but i'm sure this might be THE most broken 0 cost card we have seen so far. (and we thought 0 mana Twin Slice was broken.)

JumpStart Hits MTG Arena on July 16 for 1 Month - Details on the Limited-Time Event

Patch 17.6 - Scholomance Pre-Orders, Battlegrounds Updates, July Card Nerfs
but you have to re-buy it when the next expansion hits, that's why it's discounted
New Paladin Minion - Goody Two-Shields
Nothing I'd consider stand-out, but it should be a nice addition to divine shield synergy. Reminds me a bit of the [Hearthstone Card (Glass Knight) Not Found] from Witchwood.
Scholomance Academy is Hearthstone's Next Expansion! Here's Everything You Need to Know
I have enough dust and gold, I don't need the skin
I don't need it,
I don't need it,
I definetely don't need it....
I NEED IT!
New Neutral Minion - Wretched Tutor
So this is largely like a neutral version of Arcane Flakmage that can use any spell instead of just secrets, with the trade off that it only happens once and affects your minions as well. Not a bad deal in my opinion.
Hearthstone Gets New Weapon Frames Later This Month - Class Weapons Look Amazing
now I finally won't have to guess everytime a new weapon is revealed
New Mage/Rogue Minion - Wand Thief
A common thief once, now specialized in arcane thievery after talking with a Babbling Book.

Standard Hearthstone Decks to Try After Blizzard Swung the July 2020 Nerf Hammer
I wonder if librams will get some support in Scholomance? Seems like books would be a good flavor for a school.
New Shaman/Mage Spell - Devolving Missiles
Basicly Devolve and Arcane Missiles in one. Seems really good! Cheap transform effect. Allows you to play 2 transform effects in Highlander decks. Dont reroll quests (Hearthstone 17.6 Patch)
I wish your thread wasn´t buried by the threads for new cards so i could read it before i rerolled my quest, i can confirm my quest just went poof too. T.T
The Naxxramas Card Back (July 2014 Ranked Reward) is Now Available in the Hearthstone Shop
Its a monthly reward not the naxx adventure card back
New Shaman/Mage Spell - Devolving Missiles
I thought they said there will be less rng. Definitely powerful and could easily be nerfed, but we'll see.

Have they officially announced Scholomance Academy yet?
Hearthstone Gets New Weapon Frames Later This Month - Class Weapons Look Amazing
This is a great enhancement.
New Mage/Rogue Minion - Wand Thief
Super strong and fantastic for burgle Rogue. Super cheap generators on a body are almost always played, so I have high hopes for this card.
New Hunter/Druid Minion - Shan'do Wildclaw
Beast Druid 2: Scholomance Boogaloo!
Just kidding, it's a hunter card ofc.
New Shaman Minion - Diligent Notetaker
Now that's a spicy little effect. Seems good for midrange and control Shaman decks.
New Warrior Minion - Troublemaker
Also win more but it's ok while slightly behind, since it deals 2 instances of 3 damage to random targets.
New Druid/Shaman Spell - Lightning Bloom
This card is NUTS in wild. This card is also amazing in standard! This lets druid Innervate or Coin into Lightning Bloom into Overgrowth to ramp a lot. Rattlegore
Don't think Resummon is spelled correctly, and it's unnerving to look at.
