It means that in some situations he will give you the perfect card but in others only a good outcome but just not the perfect one!

Don't know how someone can missunderstand that :) 

It's simple: you made it sound like Zephrys the Great's effect is RNG based. Zephrys is supposed to give you the best thing ever (obviously within his pool of cards) in every situation you use it.
Will it always give you what you want? No, because sometimes you didn't give him enough info or simply there are better cards. Even if you do, will it always fulfill your expectations? No, not always, and that's where there's room for future updates.

Since its release, Zephrys the Great has periodically received updates given some non optimal choices offered in different scenarios (Silence for Frozen minions for lethal, Shadow Madness being an actual useful choice, deathrattle and reborn being taken in consideration more seriously,...).

This meta shows that Zephrys does not evaluate Silence (and Secrets dare to add) as much as he should: is that a problem? Yeah, it could be since you'd plan your turn expecting a precise card to be offered and, if that doesn't happen, it may be game losing. Will it last forever? Fortunately no: like I said before, Zephrys either gives you what you should be wanting or will learn to do in the future.

He accepted these facts

So he played out a Vilespine

But not before Zilliax

He now had the board

But his health was at six

And with fatigue now at two

Thrall had plenty of tricks

He topdecked for lethal

Found a crackle with glee

Pointed it at face

But he lowrolled a three

So our hero odd rogue

Knew that Thrall did not win it

With one health remaining

Valeera was still in it

He played out some minions

Cleared board best as he could

And then boosted the Zilliax

With a combo’d Cold Blood

His foe could not answer

With much power at all

So our hero now knew

He could defeat Thrall

So he searched for the lethal

To pick up the win

And the game closed with a cry

Context - I wrote this last Christmas as a joke for a friend at work. Everything in the story is true - including dropping to 1 health from a lowrolled Crackle and finding lethal with Leeroy - which is why I was hyped enough to write something this cheesy.

Let this be a lesson to all - no matter how acerbic and waspish someone can act, they're still quite capable of doing something incredibly cringey and making themselves look like a pillock on the internet if it might make someone smile.

Curiously, while Zephrys is a little poor at providing Silence-related cards in this specific context (I agree with an above poster that the combo effect seems to be throwing it off a tad), what Zephrys DOES correctly recognise is that this is a minion with 2 attack. If you hold him for later and play him on 8 (or 10 with a hero power) he'll usually offer a Cabal Shadow Priest which is even more effective than simply silencing.

Well, I faced a sitiation with Renohunter in wil this morning, where I was playing a mage with 2 secrets up and 3 HP. I had a weapon and my hero power, so I could kill him if I got Flare, but the fucker gave me the new 5/4 that destroys ONE secret and two damage spells I didn´t need.

I didn´t have any cards in hand I could have played to reduce the amount of mana and ensure Flare. Good thing the guy destroyed the right secret (Ice Block) and I got a win, but not thanks to Zephyrs. I think in that situation, he could have offered the two secret-destroying options (for the player to know if he wanted to play around counterspell or not) and any 3rd card.

Let´s see if his smarts keep improving with time.

To OP. Hanlock with dragons just runs over pirate warrior similarly to the highlander version BUT ive been winning consistently vs the apothecary rogue. How? Quite simple I use spellbreaker and one kobol sticky finger. They just cry themselves to sleep when u hit them with silence AND stealing their weapon. They dont have sap so ur big minions stay on board AND go face. They rely on their lifesteal buffed minions to stay alive. No removals so we just go face with what we got and they dont comeback.  Face Toxic Hunter is an auto loss sadly

Embiggen is such a fun card. It works well with eggs too.

Started the new expansion with my golden Whizbang the Wonderful, but very poor results with a lot of the decks, and frequent beat downs by Shamans pushed me back to my old trusty Control Shaman deck. Figured the meta would shift heavy aggro to counter, so decided to farm the counters. Teched in plenty of different cards to disrupt my opponents' decks. Have a fairly decent win rate, though I occasionally have to change my tech options to account for the decks I'm running across. Galakrond Shaman still beats me more often than not, but it's a lot closer than it was before. Pulled out some good upsets on occasion.

Highlander Hunter with Emeriss. Getting some 14/14 taunts that are hard to remove or a 16/16 king crush, always feels good

Running at 60% against face hunter with a slower tempo warrior build atm.

Then again, I also had a 65% winrate against Shaman, and that was allegedly OP, so what do I know...

Weird but don't care too much since I know what a card does by name/picture anyway. 

Same. Had some coins to spare though, luckily. 

Still one of the best cardbacks in the game :)
