What made me really happy yesterday was that after reaping the HoF dust and disentchanting garbage rotating cards I ended up with 18.000 dust which is enough to get those legendaries and then some more for my wild collection (still lacking Umbra, Reno, Kazakus and many more). :-))

With the addition of the first new class since forever, it stands to reason that we will see A LOT of Demon Hunters running rampage on the ladder during the first days of Ashes of Outland. I will surely be part of this, but the predictability of the whole thing made me wonder if / how it could be exploited. Sadly, I haven't heard from @FearGralex and his Meta Breaker articles for quite a while now, so I tried my own hands at coming up with something countering Illidan (there's a lenghty guide with my train of thoughts included).
What do you think? Is Untapped Potential AND Embiggen in one deck too much? Will Warrior do better? Might Priest end up top dog because they outvalue everyone with buffs and heal? Let's have a look into those crystal balls and GET PREPARED!

I'm having a really hard time finding art for this week, so here's a rather boring first idea. I'll probably work out something else but would appreciate feedback nevertheless.

Yeah, with all the hype about the new rules, I initially missed two major catches:
1) Golden copies count. I usually dust golden copies if I also get two regular copies. This won't be possible anymore until I got all the cards from that rarity and then get lucky to obtain another regular copy of a card I have a golden and a regular one of.
2) Dusting gets dangerous. With the new rules you have to be even more careful with dusting because you can't just count on getting the card back from packs if you change your mind.
On the plus side, we seem to be safe disenchanting legendaries we don't want even before being finished opening all our packs.
Besides, 0 mana destroy a bad 12/12 Legendary isn't much better than 2 mana destroy a bad 12/12 Legendary, which is what Shadow Word: Death is going to be. If you play a stat stick, it'll get hard removed. It's just that the 0 mana one is far more specific.
Though its too early to tell, I don't think Magtheridon is as bad as you say.
It's not a stats stick. I see it more as a combo board clear with a 12/12 body.
For example, on turn 8 you could run this with Hellfire which leaves you a 12/12 body after a board wipe.
Or turn 9, this with Crazed Netherwing will leave you a 5/5 and 12/12 after a board wipe.
I agree with you that the board wipe might be more important than the body in some cases, but the combo with Crazed Netherwing will result in the same board state as the one with Hellfire: Magtheridons battlecry destroys ALL minions.

Ah, I see my mistake now. It makes no difference. The result of crafting additional golden copies is the same as already owning all the regulars. I'll show myself out.

Oh boy, now I'm getting confused. I have regular copies of all the rotating cards and crafted Velen, Leeroy and one copy of Mountain Giant and Spellbreaker golden before I went out of dust.
My assumption behind this was that
1) We get compensated for the number of cards which fit in one deck. (1 Legendary, 2 of the rest)
2) The compensation prioritizes golden cards, so if I have a golden Legendary and a regular one, I get refunded with 3.200 dust.
3) The dusting rate after HoF hits is the regular one.
Result: I crafted a golden copy, get my expenses back when the HoF hits and then disenchant the golden copies for the dust of a free (regular) card of that rarity.
Have I gotten this all wrong or why do you advise people to do nothing if they own one regular Legendary or two regular copies of the other rarities? Please don't tell me assumption number 2 is wrong. If so, I could hit the emergency button by dusting a regular copy before HoF hits, couldn't I?

Thanks for sharing! The deck just got Zixor, Apex Predator as a strong addition. So much so, it might actually be worth it to add Nine Lives to the deck. And while we're at it and surely will miss Zilliax a lot, why not go Khartut Defender for survival? I think the synergies between those three make a good package. Then, I suck at deckbuilding and leave it to you to judge my suggestions. I'll probably try your list anyway, since I was sorely tempted for the last few weeks but didn't want to craft the quest, Halazzi AND Flark.

Hmmmm. Perma stealth rings my alarm bells. How could this be exploited? Cold Blood could give it up to +8 attack, that leaves us with 14 in a single swing. Then there are neutral buff minions like Dark Iron Dwarf or Abusive Sergeant. On the upside it has no tag, so no magnetizing it or some such. And you would have to play Akama, kill it, draw the prime and get around enemy taunts first. All that said, it looks strong but not OP.

This card obviously already found a home in wild. I just got destroyed by a druid player who cycled like crazy between 0 cost spells and stuff like Nourish and UI. Between the attack spells, Swipe and UI they can put together quite some damage, with a little luck it's an OTK. From two games against it, it looked quite consistent.
I wanna go with Beast + Mech combo, But Beast will have to do.
And I can't put the Outland watermark even if I check the force button. I wonder what's wrong. Oh well. Neutral it is then.
Have you tried actually creating the card with the Outland watermark? I got really frustrated until I noticed that force applied watermarks aren't shown in the preview.
Feedback: I think you can cut the "random". The battlecry is really only useful against Warlock and Demon Hunter and that way will wiff often enough to justify a targeted removal.

As promised, some feedback from my side:
Iskar: There have already been a few questions if the murlocs are able to attach to each other. The idea is cool, but it's a little confusing yet. I'm not sure how to fix this, sadly...
linkblade91: Living Forge looks too scary for me. I like Wildfire Dragon, nice flavor!
Hordaki: Nice card, solid but not OP and the mech tag leaves room for magnetic shenanigans. Well done!
Xarkkal: Great art! I'm not sold on the battlecry, though. Maybe cut the Immune and just give +2/+2?
Dermostatic: Cool card! The effect is strong, but it needs set up and dies easily. I like it, especially the murloc in a cloak!
Wailor: Dragonfang Totem looks like a good idea! I would make it a rare, though.
Demonxz95: The card is really great! Major "but": I would prefer to leave Demon Hunters out of the competition this week. It began before we knew the class existed and some people already submitted before the stream. Minor "but": someone else already submitted a card with that art.
KANSAS: Nice flavor, but as suspected, there's already another submission with a very similar effect. I like yours better, if that helps. Maybe you can change the effect and keep the rest of it?
LarryMoments: Pankoctopus looks really weird. I think it would have to be a Choose One card, wouldn't it? That said, I prefer Astral Spiritbreather over Scavenging Tactician. Nice flavor and the effect invites to find a way to exploit it.
thepowrofcheese: Nice idea, it's really fitting. Is it debatable to make the cost reduction only 2? That would be enough for 5 of the 7 possible targets and getting out a Flametongue Totem or a Mana Tide Totem for free feels too strong for me.
My wish list contains Metamorphosis, Kayn Sunfury, Zixor, Apex Predator, Teron Gorefiend, Kargath Bladefist and Beastmaster Leoroxx in that order.

Thanks for the feedback, I took out Nourish for Archspore Msshi'fn.

Well done, @brownhackwtf, well done.

What happens in the new system if you lose a game? Is the multiplyer working for stars granted AND lost? That would not make much sense, would it?

This looks great and has enough of the new cards to be exciting at the same time. Might end up my day 1 deck, too. Again, thanks for sharing!

Could you please add the HoF information to this site?
I would prefer another hint.

Favorite card of the set so far. It's finally time to craft Umbra. And boy, that would be an awesome golden legendary to pull from the preorder!
