hm... I tried looking for direct hints but all I came up with is Frenzied Felwing. It fits the description of having hair and scales but the rest of it seems off. The crossed out "throat" might suggest that the minion we're looking for has no throat or that it's claws are reaching out for something else which rhymes with throat. "So many tales" suggests that it's an old card, basic or classic set.

I like the way Blizzard is handling the game these days. Galakrond's Awakening brought us enough distraction and new cards to be occupied until the rotation hits imho. The meta is still evolving - you mentioned Dragon Hunter yourself and I've read that Control Warrior makes a comeback (who would have that one seen coming?), just to name two examples. I'm trying to grind out the last 85 hunter wins for the 1.000 wins portrait until rotation hits and throw in a game of Galakrond Warrior or Highlander Rogue from time to time. Especially the highlander decks are a good way to avoid getting bored for me, every match is different.
tl;dr: I'm not bored, I feel like the meta is still shifting and I'm impressed how well Blizzard has been handling the game for a whole year now.
When you generate a card, you have an option to create a permanent link. You can use the temporary link, but the card will disappear in like 3 days.
I do actually load them up to imgur after creating them on hearthcards and saving them on my device. It's a bit clunky but it works. The trick to post the picture from imgur is not to use the picture in your gallery but to click it another time so a window with only the pic in it opens. You can tell the difference by the URL, there should be no "gallery" in it. Copy the URL and insert the pic into your post with the button. If it calculates widh and height after inserting the link, you did it right.
I feel like it's not strong enough yet. I would suggest reducing the number of portals but raising the stats of the demons. Is there a number linked to Malchezaar? Maybe you could go with 5s, like shuffle 5 portals which summon 5/5s with rush

I'm still struggling with the watermark and might change the art, it's supposed to be a treasure for the Dalaran Heist. How do you feel about using Gwent art? I'd really appreciate feedback :)

Really cool stuff, thank you! If I may make a suggestion though: Reading the Transparency Report, I wanted to look up the entries since I can't remember who submitted which card. Sadly I wasn't able to find them anymore. Could you add a link to the galery with the entries (possibly in the order of the final result) to the transparacy report site? Are they even saved?

So most of us are excited to hear about those great changes coming to Hearthstone which were hinted at by attendees of the Hearthstone 2020 Community Summit. Since the original post on the main page got flushed out and we may or may not get some news this week or even today, I wanted to give our speculations, expectations and wishes a new home.
Apart from very obvious things I expect to be delivered very soon like new purchasable hero portraits, my own contribution is to speculate about Blizzard splitting off Battlegrounds from "classic" Hearthstone. Maybe even Arena comes along, too. My arguments supporting that theory are as follows:
- If I remember correctly, there already are seperate teams working on BG and the rest of HS at Blizzard's
- BG (and Arena) are based upon drafting. You don't need a collection, you don't need card backs (not true for Arena, though no big issue imho), you don't need anything you obtained during your time before BG was introduced. It wouldn't hurt veterans to split BG off.
- Auto chess is something completely different than "classic" HS. It's easy to imagine people loving BG who have no interest in "classic" HS and vice versa (I'm an example for the latter, no surprise). This argument strongly speaks against seperating Arena, though.
- BG is getting a lot of love from the devs. The frequency of the introduction of new heros, buffs and nerfs is amazing. Maybe they are pushing this hard because they want to get the biggest player base possible before kicking off BG as a seperate game.
I must admit that I'm really not convinced it would make sense to split off BG from the business side of the issue. But with a little stretch one could argue that BG isn't even a card game anymore since you can't collect the cards. That might be enough to distinguish between the two branches and shape seperate identities. If all of this amounts to "cementing HS for the next decade" depends upon the questions if 1) seperate BG would still qualify as part of HS and 2) what will "classic" HS receive this year.
I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts about the upcoming changes and getting roasted for my somewhat crazy idea. Thanks for reading!

I really liked the idea of the "Year of the Phoenix" someone came up with last week - standing for renewal and rebirth and a great HS overhaul. I won't get my hopes too high, though. I think something will be announced today or on thursday.

Cool deck, how is it performing? I'm currently playing with a quest deck built around Mana Cyclone for the quest, Flamewaker for board control and giants for the kill. Your deck looks rather control-oriented... I like it, thanks for sharing!

I don't have Whizbang and usually don't use the deck recipes, so I can't really say something about his viability. But if they should move him to classic, I would actually consider crafting him and stop paying cash for standard. I'm playing wild most of the time and only coming back to standard to toy with the new cards and grind those hero portraits on lower ranks. I guess Whizbang would be sufficient for that, wouldn't he (assuming I don't care which hero I grind with)?

I agree with the argument that the system can't be completely overturned, but what about a slight improvement? Something like this:
rarity
crafting cost
disenchanting value
legendary
1.200
300
epic
300
100
rare
100
25
common
40
5
I know the epic dust value is off scale, but I didn't want to add too many odd numbers. Keeping the epics as they are and changing only legendaries and rares would be another alternative. The point is making legendaries cheaper.

Oh my god this would be so nice! Such a great idea! Your idea to keep them vanilla on board is vital for the concept to have a chance because of new players. I really hope this idea gets through to the devs.

There already are a lot of statements from other people about those big changes. I don't have anything to add to that and I'm not one of those guys who have to repeat the same argument over and over again. But having read all the comments I noticed that nobody had mentioned the most obvious thing to come up and (probably) come up pretty soon: new portraits. I just tried to contribute in an actually meaningful way.

Is it Bandersmosh then?

This doesn't work for me. Anyone else having issues? Any tricks I could try?
Edit: it actually DOES work, but only when you create the card. Preview won't show the watermark.
Here's something very helpful for noobs like me I dug up, great thanks to @Demonxz95

Congrats! Your win is also a great encouragement for us other newbies :-
