Two points I'm a little worried about are class identity and pricing.
I'm not a WoW player so please correct me if I'm wrong but I'd expect Death Knights to center around death-related stuff like Deathrattles or Reborn, maybe some twisted form of Paladin flavor as well. The thing is we already have solid Deathrattle packages in Hunter, Rogue, Priest and Demon Hunter so that wouldn't really make for a good core identity trait (not to mention the Skeleton archetype that Mage received with Nathria). Reborn might work better for this but I feel like it would be harder to balance. On the plus side Reborn fits the color scheme which is something they did very well in Demon Hunter (green cards, most Fel related cards have green art, Hero Power with a green touch, ...). No idea for a DK Hero Power that hits the flavor and balances well with the other classes so far (like, you can't make it a 2 Mana summon a 1/1 minion with Reborn because of Paladin for example).
Maybe Demon or Shadows could do a summorizing article about all the Death Knight fan creations this site has seen so far?
Regarding pricing I'm hoping for an adjustment that mirrors the growing number of cards. With more cards being released we obviously need to open more packs to collect them all so the cool thing for Blizzard to do would be to give us more packs for the same price as in the past, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
The Kingkiller Chronicles have been just as great as everyone told me they were. Fingers crossed the author will release book 3 one day.
Recently I've overcome a (very minor) childhood trauma: Dune. I saw the 90's movie when I defintely wasn't old enough for it and while it wasn't gorey or scary per se, the worms creeped me out majorly at the time. Somehow this kept me from reading the series even years later when I discovered my love for SciFi books... But now I very much enjoyed the new movie and finally got the books as well. Volume 1 has been a blast so far. It's fast paced and easy to read but still has its philosophical insights. Lots of sociology and psychology in there as well, in that regard it kinda reminds me of the Ender's Game series (books 2-4). I'm very much looking forward to exploring where the story goes :))
It will be interesting to see if Wild gets some attention as well. I reached legend yesterday and the number of Big Priest encounters heavily decreased once I had passed Diamond 4ish. The deck is still a pain in the ass and Neptulon is a broken card. I'd advocate for removing the Windfury from the main body or the Immune while attacking from its hands. Other than that I'm not the biggest fan of the meta right now but it doesn't feel unhealthy. Secret Mage is a super disgusting deck to play against but it's probably not broken enough to deserve a nerf (yet?). Mill Druid is doing its thing too easily for my taste but it gets countered by hyper aggressive decks (Demon Hunter, Rogue, maybe even Shaman [pun intended]) and mana cheaters (Secret Mage). Finally I do hope they don't completely nuke Harpoon Gun because JambaJooze's Beast Hunter with Knuckles is a ton of fun to play :)
This deck took me to legend three times last year and (almost) single handedly got me to 500 class wins with Priest. Hats off again for finding a true meta breaker back then and thanks for sharing it with us!
Looks like this is the year to reap all those achievements for me :D Since my last post I managed to get Garrosh over the treshold with the help of Enrage Warrior and just yesterday Illidan joined the gang - the fifth (!) golden portrait in 2022. I don't have much hope for my Shaman progress but maybe I'll spam some Murlocs every now and then. Other than that I'm not sure where to go next. Mage might be an option as the Secret archetype is viable again and there's hope we'll get another goal line added with the next expansion, maybe at 1.500 wins? (No evidence whatsoever on this, but there are some clues they'll add a Death Knight class and we got the 1.000 wins portraits when Demon Hunter was added)
Unfortunately it looks like the Mini Set has made Wild worse again after the format had finally overcome the bullshitty Questline era. Nobody asked for a Secret Mage comeback, Mill Druid is just plain stupid and The Jailer should be straight out banned imo. Add all this to the ongoing Big Priest issue and you get an unhealthy cocktail of uninteractive stuff that's just no fun to play against. I'm not really sure how to solve this situation either other than banning The Jailer and nerfing Neptulon but I'm sure someone will come up with a good idea.
Demon Hunter might also like this, swarm tactics is one of their class things. In Wild I frequently use Expendable Performers which has already great synergies with the other Infuse cards and Hero Kurtrus.
And yeah, please kill the Shaman and Mage parrots already.

Got the big preorder bundle plus 65 packs with gold = 159 packs. Got 9 legendaries, one of them golden, plus two golden ones from the preorder. As a bonus, I opened Murloc Holmes which means a free legendary of my choice since I bought the Tavern Pass.
Let's just say this expansion looks interesting enough for me to preorder for the first time in quite a while. Following your example Linkblade,
Aggro Deathrattle Demon Hunter (Wild) - a super successfull friend of mine suggested this would be working and "Aggro Deathrattle" combines my favorite play patterns. Kryxis the Voracious and Magnifying Glaive are the cards I'm hoping to find in my packs.
While Hadronox Druid looks cool, I've dusted my copy of the name giving legendary long ago and am also missing lots of other core cards. Might have a look at a token list with Sire Denathrius as a finisher, but this is low priority for me.
As a former Hunter main, I'm skipping this expansion. Can't see the new cards making any impact in Wild and the Wildseed cards aren't interesting enough for me to get back into Standard.
Mage on the other hand went over the roof with the flavor. Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable and his army of Skeletons is a day 1 craft for me and I'll gladly play Standard if nobody comes up with a Wild deck that isn't pure garbage. Secret Mage got a lot of updates but I probably won't play it because it's just boring nevertheless.
Paladin feels weird. I can't see where the class is supposed to be going yet, even if there are a few cards I'd like to get my hands on like Elitist Snob. Nothing shiny I'm itching to try out on day 1 though.
Priest might have received the biggest number of cards I want to add to my collection. I'm no fan of the Inner Fire archetype, but the support cards Anduin gets with this expansion are so versatile I can picture them in a lot of decks. I've also kept Kovachut's Thief Priest among my deck lists all these years and I'm looking forward to try and add stuff like The Harvester of Envy or Mysterious Visitor to it.
The Secret package Rogue got may or may not be enough to build a good Wild deck around, but it will certainly be entertaining to bring out Shadowjeweler Hanar once more and Bamboozle my opponents :))

I'll lean back and watch other people figure out which Warlock combo is OP this time, might jump the bandwaggon and capitalize on it though to get closer to that sick 1.000 wins Hero portrait.
Enrage Warrior might be a similar case as Skeleton Mage which is an archetype that's so close to my personal sweet spot that it makes me switch to Standard to play it. I also need a halfway viable deck to use the Sire Denathrius skin with. Might have to craft Captain Galvangar after all :/
When it comes to the Neutral section, I'm super happy about the disruption package we've received with cards like Theotar, the Mad Duke, Ashen Elemental or Steamcleaner. I have high hopes they will help tune down OP combo bullshit in Wild. Crooked Cook is a great draw engine for aggro that provides a nice alternative to Voracious Reader, there's a Deathrattle package that might be on the brink of being good enough for Wild (Masked Reveler, Bog Beast, Sinrunner, Stoneborn General) and who knows what other cards will surprise us.
All in all I'm looking forward to this expansion that brings us a lot of interesting cards and some super cool flavor. May the legendarys flow in your packs and RNGsus ever decide in your favor!

So at this point I might just as well go for the second diamond card lol.
