We could read the second line backwards, then the beginning sounds like "safe a turn and combine". That could be almost any combo card... Temporus gives additional turns just like Open the Waygate. The general idea seems to be that we're looking for a Druid card though.

Okay, thanks for responding! I could craft the deck as it is, but that would deplete me of all my dust reserves... so... I know this isn't meant to be a tier 1 deck, but is it possible to have fun on ladder? How good is it against secret mage, Raza Priest and big priest? I would assume that Priest games are tough because they often run Sphere themselves and that's really bad for our win condition.

Hey, that's a very cool idea! My problem is that I'm missing quite a few expensive cards... one of them is Brann. His only targets are coldlight oracle, stitched tracker and Zeph, so is he really worth it (in this deck)? What could I substitute him with? Thanks for sharing!

Hm. The combination of a turret and a safe in a more literal way would be a tank. Darkmoon Tonk also hits random enemies for 2, like Cleave. Dealing 4 times 2 damage is a nice way to counter treants, so this might explain the timber part.
I'll take the liberty and make a second guess: is it Darkmoon Tonk?
The second line might be an obvious hint at Cleave, but timber is a bit harder. There's Timber Wolf, but that's quite a stretch from the meaning of the word.
So... if I combine Blackhowl Gunspire with Safeguard, I'm looking for 1) a minion that 2) does damage to random (?) enemies (which also fits Cleave) or has an effect that triggers when it gets damaged and 3) has Taunt since that's the Safeguard's most prominent feature.

Now I'm curious if you'll do it again. For me, it was a one time thing I did with Bomb Hunter in 2019 in Standard and with Darkest Hour Warlock in Wild just two days before the deck got nerfed. I've come close again in Wild several times, but never reached legend again. I just don't like the grind and having to play completely optimized Tier 1 decks. But I still remember that awesome feeling of doing it for the first time :-)

It feels good to me. I usually play my dailys and then a bit more, finishing on Diamond 10 or 5 in Wild. I'm currently at around 5.200 gold, but I've bought the mid expansion for 2.000. I guess reaching 10k should be no problem if you play 30-60 minutes each day.
I must say that the grind to level 50 was quite a bad experience though. It feels way more rewarding to level up once you've passed that threshold. Remains to be seen if the changes they announced for this issue really help (if I remember correctly, the new goal is at 100 and the required XP per level got cut in half).

I guess I'll try out some of the classics since I've only joined some time around Blackrock Mountain. As a Hunter main that certainly means Undertaker Hunter, but I'm also curious about Patron Warrior and Miracle or Oil Rogue.

Nope, I don't think this is a good idea either. Ethically, I'm with griffior which is the most important point.
I also think this wouldn't work very well. With 23 million people playing HS chances are VERY low one of us plays against the same opponent AND gets targeted by their bm AND bothers to look here before accepting a request.

If you read out loud the code in the way the letters are pronounced in the cards we we're given, you're getting there. Technically we wouldn't even have needed the cards to solve the code. It's about how letters are pronounced differently, like the P in Pterrodax is silent. I'm not a native speaker, but roughly it looks like this:
It was a very cool riddle after all, but phonetics wasn't something I've expected at all. Wasn't somebody's signature something like "First rule of the english language: They our know rulez"? I think it was KANSAS, but they have a different one now.

Absolutely no idea. I've checked the Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion site for cards that have "Knight" or "Sir" in their name or a knight in their art with no results. I do not know what people with a mustache can't do what other people can either.
While I have many ideas for OP cards, I can't think of a single macabre one. The last line might be a hint at a bad Duels hero but I don't play that game mode. "It can get you" hints at card generation, that's the one productive thing I can contribute.
Can anyone provide a list? I'm missing Nozdormu and both tip the scales and would be very hesitant to craft them, but I'd like to see how this thing works.
Edit: Found it (Murloc Version). Do you think this will get nerfed?
Its just my personal advice, but if you dont have all the cards don't bother crafting them. Not only are they rotating in about a month and a half, the deck suffers from serious consistency issues, far more so than druid, which basically it intends to ape.
Let's also not forget that Nozdormu grants the opponent 10 mana to play before you do, so on chances you face up against priest or mage, you're better off just playing the normal aggro murloc game. Yes its hilarious when you win with Alura or get a board full of clowns and your opponent happens to be aggro, but those are just moments against the many times you either don't draw the cards you need, or just die from aggro without playing a single card.
Again, just my opinion, but I think this deck is held up mainly by Alura+tip the scales on 4/5. Nozdormu on 4 will likely just end with you dying more often than not.
It won't be nerfed, for the same reason why druid still exist. The deck is nowhere near consistent enough and against value decks it might as well start praying.
Thanks for the advice, I am actually close to crafting it. I'm wondering if this wouldn't work in Wild as well, it reminds me a lot of the Darkest Hour deck before it got nerfed. But giving 10 mana to your opponent is probably an even worse idea in Wild

That would mean we have to take the letter after "pt" since they're both an "e" in Ravenous Pterrordax and Pterrordax Hatchling, but the letter before "ch", since they're both an "s" in Dr. Boom's Scheme and First Day of School.
We also don't have much of a choice with Xaril, Poisoned Mind because there is no letter before the "x".
