    These are my example minions that I think could create a Spell Damage strategy in Battlegrounds. Even though Spell Damage by itself does not do anything in Battlegrounds, by creating Spell Damage payoff minions, Spell Damage becomes a valuable keyword. I also included some dragons and Divine Shield minions in these cards in order to make them more flexible and able to fit into multiple different gameplans. Cards like Tarecgosa and Dark Summoner, for example, are playable without additional Spell Damage.

    Maybe the coin should also freeze an enemy? That way it could be used to counter the attacking advantage of going first

    Maybe it’s something to do with whether or not your client is fully updated? Maybe Solo Adventur only works on a computer?

    At this point, why not let players decide what difficulty of quest to roll into? When you reroll a quest you should get an option for “easy” or “hard”. That way players can always choose what they want instead of blizzard guessing at their motivation

    I agree with you on a lot of your points about themes. For year of the dragon I think they went too far along the cartoony route. I couldn’t get invested in the story because none of the character’s motivations made sense. Also, having so many repeats of the same few characters and constant additions of lackey cards made the expansions feel a little too similar.

    I think what people aren’t realizing is that if this tagest enemy minions this is a better elven archer. Sure, elven archer is awful, but as a 2/1 it might be okay

    Thief Rogue cards have a chance of not creating any cards. I believe this is because Demon Hunter has been added as a class, but it currently has no cards. The thief rogue cards sometimes choose Demon Hunter as the class to pull from, but since Demon Hunter has no cards, they produce nothing. Also, if you play against Demon Hunter in practice mode and use a “from your opponent’s class” card it also produces nothing

    Demon hunter is in practice mode (playing against the innkeeper) already!

    Didn’t Druid have a version of this that could only be cast on Beasts in the Whispers of the Old Gods set? Given that the Druid card saw play, I think this will be pretty good. Also, it seems great when paired with liadri

    This could be insane if paired with Shadow Word: Horror in wild. You can clear the board and summon a 12/12 for 8 Mana and 2 cards

    Have you tried playing expeditions? They can grant a lot of XP at higher wins. Also, It’s not that important to get to lvl 13 every week, getting to lvl 12 is just fin

    Stealth does not prevent a minion from being targeted by a spell or battlecry

    It’s not that I feel Runeterra’s system is not generous enough, it’s just that it feels unnecessary to give people the bad experience of opening multiple duplicates just because they got unlucky. Duplicate protection also encourages card crafting, since you no longer have to worry about crafting a card and then getting a ton of copies of it the day afte

    I thought of this mostly because Hearthstone just announced that they would extend duplicate protection to all rarities, and it made me wonder why Runeterra doesn’t do this as well. The only upside of duplicates that I can see is that it provides diminishing marginal value from packs, which helps players who buy fewer packs be closer in terms of set completion to ones who bought a lot of cards. However, since in Runeterra you can’t buy packs, it seems like they could easily just have duplicate protection for all rarities and then maybe reduce trewards to compensate

    Any Spells targeting one will also then target the other instead. So if your opponent casts Vengeance on your unit you can change the target

    Since Spellbreaker is being HOF’ed, this might be less vulnerable to silence than it initially seems

    Why do y’all think Runeterra allows duplicates in chests? Wouldn’t it be better for the chests to always give new cards?

    In terms of Balance, they seem to take a slow and steady approach, so you shouldn’t give up hope yet. I’m sure if SI and elusives remain a problem they’ll nerf more cards

    I think shadow assassin should have “This has elusive while your opponent has an elusive unit” instead of having elusive. That way it becomes more of a defensive tool
