    I didnt forget about other spells , but Mystic Shot is still just 2 damage, Thermogenic Beam is really good, BUT it´s a slow spell which is a huge disadvantage , it costs all of your mana, and if enemy has Deny ( Which he most probably has )  you can surrender. And let´s not bring up Get Excited, as it is for Zaun discard decks like Jinx Draven.

    It's technically a piltover/zaun deck, but again I will mention that you don't HAVE to play the P&Z spells you can play whatever spell you want from other regions as long as you don't mix a third region so if you don't like the P&Z spells you can easily mix another region (including ionia which has Karma and Deny) to help you in your Ezreal/Heimerdinger build.

    Get Excited! CAN be played in a pitch in such a deck if you have a lot of spell generation or tech cards, since you are trying to play a combo/control deck don't you?

    I don't know if you play hearthstone but lets assume the current state of priest: it has no deck to play it kinda sucks, but you mix priest with mage and suddenly you have a win condition in priest while having so much aoe, in HS you can't do that.. but in LoR you not only can do that but you are intensified to do that...

    Well, it doesn't mean the team is shrinking, you don't know maybe they hired more people, the fact that the main guy leaves doesn't mean he isn't replaced.

    Mike was, for the last 2 years, the face of HS just like Ben Brode was until witchwood it doesn't tell much about the actual state of mind..

    What does tell is those glaring bugs they don't bother to fix.. that's another story...

    I have been trying to experiment with stuff one of them is poros, sadly I don't have all the poro cards or a third braum, but I tried to play it, I am quite sure it's not good enough and I am more unsure which second region fits the poro decks..

    didn't get to play them in the preview, but I saw fluff got nerfed(think it was from 5 mana to 6) so there is probably a viable build somehow..

    I feel you! I have 3x Embiggen and 2x Golden Embiggen. You know what I wish for ^^

    Mine was Mojomaster Zihi for Even Shaman in Wild. I didn't have neither Ragnaros the Firelord nor The Lich King but wanted to have a good standard card... later I just replaced it with an Eater of Secrets.

    don't have your hopes up, I doubt they will nerf that card the deck was balanced before a certain elusive beast came around.

    but out of those 3 I think [Hearthstone Card (mystic shot) Not Found] is the best damage spell in the game, it's flexible, fast can be generated by ezreal, helps ezreal complete his level up quest just an awesome spell.

    The region's spell strength is it's the ability to end the game from hand, no other region has as many direct damage spells, other regions spells are restricted to unit damage only. most of them were free targeted but got nerfed by how good it is was to damage the nexus from hand.

    P&Z are probably gonna get builds further in the meta when people get their hands on multiple copies of Ezreal and Heimerdinger more and experiment with them (and of course the inevitable Deny nerf).

    Also I played jinx + draven discard aggro during the preview patch that deck is insanely strong,  it requires Draven and Jinx (probably ALL 6) and 3 Augmented Experimenters.

    So that's a list we will start seeing probably next week/ 2 weeks from now more commonly that deck is probably the most aggressive one can be so it should counter elusives real good.

    Edit: another aspect you totally missed out.. you don't HAVE to play P&Z spells.. that's why you can mix regions so have the hard removal from other regions and the piltover spell lovers.

    Nope, it's not a bug.

    Echo cards can't cost less than 1. it's a nerf that happened some months ago to address SN1P-SN4P OTK and Sound the Bells! OTKs.

    I don't think the high curve is such a problem.. use spirit of the frog and a lot of cheap removal and you should be able to control the board.

    0 hype, as far as I have seen they didn't change anything that is not graphical.. so why bother?

    Plus they are selling it at 30 EU (dollars if you are in US, cause 30 dollars=30 EU, Blizzard logic) which is a lot for a game that let's be honest isn't that different from the original.

    I liked W3 when I was younger but now I don't feel like playing RTS anyway they just brought back the same game they had 18 years ago with updated resolution/graphics.. which TBH are not that impressive.

    So everyone who have been playing Runeterra can't ignore the fact that elusives are a problem specially now as they are everywhere, the main problem with the mechanic is that you can't interact with it unless you are playing elusive units yourself or you deck is mostly spells and you have all niche removals.

    It's much harder to deal with when they are buffed and they keep attacking you each round for a lot of damage.

    To top it all off Deny is preventing skill/spell answers for the deck.

    I posted one idea on one balance thread but I think this specific mechanic needs a dedicated thread.

    So what are the options?

    1. Make elusive one strike only, this will not only open additional design space but it makes total sense, if you are sneaking around or hard to catch, once you stroke you revealed yourself so you are no longer stealthed, add to Teemo that he regains elusive each round and buff Ezreal's health to compensate.

    2. make elusive one turn only like barrier, you play an elusive unit? well you better attack with it/defend because it will lose it at the end of the round- I initially thought about this approach but it would destroy them and it's less thematic.

    3. nerfs across the board, nerf all elusive followers hp or attack, make the mechanic have premium cost. because of the inevitable powercreep it's a short term solution

    4. Nerf Deny, it will knock down the elusive decks enough.

     

    So what do you guys think?

    I would say make him a 1/6 with regen - specifically choosing 6 health due to a large number of 5-attack units in the game - and give him only +1 attack each time he kills an enemy. Level up would only require 2 'stacks', would cause him to gain +2 health (no attack), and would give him Challenger in addition to his other effects (because in League his ult grants bonus range on his Q, and you'd assume after getting enough stacks to teamfight he's probably high enough level to drop a few points into Wither).

    I like this design fits his league playstyle perfectly can't wait for Shurima to be a playable region.

    If you want to test decks cheaply, let other people do it for you then craft cards if the deck is found to be good. Or if it is an option you can get a friend to make the deck, then use that deck in games against them.

    Asking to be able to test everything cheaply yourself is asking for a lot more than your off-hand comment makes it sound. If you can come up with a way to do it that both lets you test against the meta and doesn't decimate Blizzard's profits (they justifiably wouldn't do it if it did), then you should let them know.

    Anyway, I play exclusively meme/low power decks, so either everything I craft is a bad idea or nothing is. Though I'm pretty sure Bolf Ramshield qualifies as a truly bad idea. I don't remember what the plan was, but I know it didn't even meet my low low expectations.

    They could start by increasing the chance of getting epics.. sometimes I am more excited to open a specific epic than a legendary..

    My friends don't play hearthstone or they don't have a big collection, most of them quit.. guess why.

    I got around 15K dust stored in duplicates but you never know what they will nerf so I can't press "disenchant all" button and going over all commons one for one is a pain, also I am in high hope Blizzard one day decides to stop being so greedy and increase the dust per common to 10 or decrease the cost of epics.. I can keep dreaming on that..

    Then people complain why people net deck so much, can't try stuff myself so I have to copy what works so I am not stuck with a meme deck.

    You can add braum to control SI freljord, and fiora or Lucian to the elusive demacia/Ionia I think people don't put champions in decks.. Cause they don't have them.

    I strongly disagree that other 6-mana followers are as impactful. Champions, perhaps, but not followers.

    Apart from those that revive themselves, I can't think of any follower that's so difficult to remove. It is effectively immune to combat the first round, and it is guaranteed to take several units down while dealing massive nexus damage at the same time -- all with no precondition to be met.

    Listing a bunch of hard removals is not particularly helpful -- by definition, those work on literally everything. A 6-mana follower that snowballs very quickly should not require hard removal.

    One way to fix it would be to keep its stats at 0/12, but add: "Play: Capture an ally to grant me that ally's power." Because the ally is piloting it, see? (And remove the Attack effect, because logically, why would a real battering ram's attacks get stronger over time?)

    I see where they were going with the design though, it gets stronger the more you ram at the doors so it keeps racking damage.

    You know I didn't see this card being played yet, probably cause all the elusive craze the meta is too fast for this guy.

    I will be sure to pick it up in expeditions if I see it being offered though.

    I use Shen as "well played", also most other people I saw using it, used it for the same reason.

    Riot is gonna earn the big buck for those emotes for sure! (soon tm)
