Thonson: We are actually trying to serve less intrusive ads than most sites which is why a lot of them end up being text-based. You're right, we could definitely be making more money if we opted for more flashy stuff. There's a lot of stuff that needs to get fixed up with ads though before we make an attempt at that route.
Personally, I've been getting a LOT of magic ads. I think Wizards is trying to tell me something.

You shouldn't be seeing them inside of comments and replies. I'll take a look to confirm those areas are blacklisted. That's a shit experience and I'm sorry about that.
I really wonder what they're gonna do with unsanctioned lands. Some more full arts would be wonderful, even cooler with it being back-to-back with Theros BD.
Yeah, I'd love to make our voting even better. I actually managed to sneak voting in right before reveals really got started so it is not fully feature complete. We've still got a discussion to do with the staff on how we can make the next reveal season even better, this is definitely something we'll bring up.
I fully expect us to do another awesome giveaway next expansion, even if we're limited to on-site rewards. (Which honestly, are some of my favourite rewards since people who have been around the longest have potential to have some really cool stuff down the line).
On-site rewards for the Descent of Dragons Giveaway are in the process of being rewarded and will take somewhere between 30 mins and an hour to fully process for everyone.
Grand Prize, Runner-up, and the "Draconically Dedicated" achievements have all finished.
Additionally, I know you'll see unearned achievements under Feats of Strength for stuff you can't possibly complete (all the achievements are FoS labelled). This is a display issue and incomplete FoS achievements, at some point, won't show up on your profile.
I know these were "leaked" not too long ago, but we've finally got a digital image of the new landset coming in Theros Beyond Death... and damn do they look good! Its interesting having "pokemon-style" lands, they should look absolutely stunning in foil.
What do y'all think? I'm definitely going to pickup the fatpack/bundle for some cheapo access to them.
I've considered doing additional snapshots of the cards so we could track how people feel about them over time. Not sure we'd get the votes to actually make it relevant though. Maybe if we call everyone out once a month to go revote on all the cards...
I think it could be very cool to showcase data like that.
Our card back gallery has been updated with the missing images.
We had some renderer issues that required a bit of a rewrite due to Hearthstone changing a bunch of client code. We only ever use client-generated images in the gallery, no manual uploads, so we didn't "have" the image.
