I suspect this is not the case. If Grand Lackey was itself a Lackey, generators of Lackeys would be able to generate him and we've recently seen why stuff like that is bad with the recent Alex nerf. It would be even worse though considering how small the lackey pool is.
They aren't all that great tbh. If you look at other games, we get way more value for our pre-orders.
I ultimately think the problem is Wizards is afraid to mess up their brand and physical product. They want magic to feel so premium so they can keep getting the price they do and if Arena becomes too cheap, it could hurt their physical sales.
Part of me thinks that is a bit silly since Arena has more profit potential since you don't need to produce a physical product, but on the other side, physical product is great for certain types of releases (Secret Lair comes to mind) since the markup is insanely high and people are willing to pay that price for it.
I'm definitely no expert though, so other than the fact that other games do more with their pre-orders, take my thoughts on it with a grain of salt.
Nothing has materialized yet for any Shadowlands pre-order bonuses in Blizzard's other titles, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to happen. I'd find it very weird that a WoW collector's edition didn't come with bonuses for other titles. It is possible bonuses weren't allowed to be worked on by other teams so they didn't accidentally push out assets that would leak the expansion (we've seen similar things happen in the past which is why Hearthstone sometimes leaves descriptions on card backs "TBD").
50/50 shot of there being a card back IMO. We saw one back in Warlords, they skipped Legion, and then we got one again for Battle for Azeroth. I'd love to see one considering how much cool Shadowlands art we've got so far.
The game has only been available for 2 separate testing periods, each lasting about a week, since the announcement last year. When the game returns, and in an open state next week, it will have been just over 2 months since anyone outside of Riot has been able to play.
I understand the frustration, but this information was shared quite a bit with everyone on their side, and we've published it at least a handful of times.
Game is amazingly polished btw. I don't see how the lack of a Runeterra-specific support ticket showcases otherwise since their official FAQs stated how everything was going to work.
I hope you download the game next week when access is open to all on the 24th and get a chance to give it a shot!
Your version of Microsoft Edge or browser on Android is likely out of date. Older browsers aren't fully supported on the site since we use some more recent web features. I don't think it is too much to assume people are updating their browsers since it is a lot more commonplace these days. It also gives us a huge benefit where some of our favourite spammer friends are using such outdated browsers, they can't even use the site, letting us be more spam-free.
I agree that we need more uniqueness on the Hearthstone side, it is our largest fault by far. Things are cooking and 2020 is definitely going to be our year!
The on-site collection manager is actually closing in on release. I was aiming to have it out for the expansion last month but there are some technical hurdles to still work through. Since everything came to a halt the last couple of weeks of December due to the holidays, and now I've been plagued for a week (ugh, I love the Winter but I despise the sickness that always comes with it), so there's still work to do to get it out there.
The release may end up being divided into a V1 and V2, with the initial launch being the collection manager itself and then client-side calculated deck costs. That is what is currently being evaluated.
Nah, so it was actually Animated Berserker. Mountainfire Armor we had put up as Mountain Fire Armor, and stated "the name is definitely not accurate" LOL. While technically we weren't wrong about that...
That would be two tokens, each named Icicle, with the Freeze keyword being the only text they have.
No bonus reward for speedrunning. Nothing in the client data!
Ugh, yeah, don't remind me. It was all fun and games when everyone said the rogue quest sucked... lol.
I'm really digging it, though yeah, it's going to be annoying!
Love seeing Evasive get more love recently. Hurry up and keyword it already, Blizzard!

Honestly, I'm a little afraid of this card being too overboard because of Rogue. It'll be funny when Blizzard has to nerf it.

Thanks for the comments and feedback <3
Thanks, Ballsdeeper. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The dedicated Hearthstone portal on the site is available if you don't want the mix.

Yep!

Yeah, it feels a bit weird to call it out, it's very self-congratulatory, but there is no way this is simply a coincidence
Fluffy Kibler Dragon was such a good one.
No clue!
We're not actively or planning on developing any desktop tools for games. It's a very common question that comes up!
35 new cards! They've probably got some playtesting that shows these cards may still be problematic.
