It'll always be free to play, but I expect them to rotate the paywall extra hero and emotes every expansion. That means you'll want 2000-3000 gold to buy packs of new sets to retain full benefits.
There are a bunch of issues with Hearthstone right now and Chris said on reddit they were investigating all reports.
I had a fun bug where my friendslist showed everyone twice which made me feel quite popular and more importantly made it hell to respond to people. Also, I couldn't hit enter to send messages back to people which was infuriating.
I'd really like daily quest slots and event quest slots.
This would be especially nice for players that go AFK and come back during events. They'd have more stuff to do with the added daily quest which could help kickstart their Hearthstone adventure once more.
If they did a couple less reveals per day and didn't do their 30 card dump after their final live stream, they could easily do 4 weeks of reveals.
However, it being that long of a reveal season can feel fatiguing. I do hope we get a couple reveals each week before these begin. I fully expect at least one blog with some news on Sidequests at some point between now and release.
It almost feels like this was given to us earlier than usual.
Maybe because half the reveals don't actually have URLs yet. If you look at the master reveal countdown page we have setup, you'll find most of the reveals say Blizzard. I put that as a placeholder value until we find out where the reveal will actually be.
Yup, but there is 140 in the set this time around, not the usual 135 so the set didn't get any cheaper. All the EVIL classes get 3 legendaries each due to Galakrond.

Turns out it is to balance for Effigy.
Cost != Tavern Tier, thankfully.

If they could balance 9 classes, I'd trust them to add in more. Been proven pretty consistently they can't though :D
If you want all three, its almost like you're getting one for free.
There are definitely better options around now though.
I am so not looking forward to Jades in my Battlegrounds :D

He did, but he has made a return to the game for Battlegrounds, at least while its still hot stuff.
