We're going to soon have the ability to display "related decks" below all decks on the site. We'll give preference to decks that are guides, I don't see why we can't recommend a deck guide for the deck.
The $1200 and $700 builds both come with a cooler in the box that will suffice. I already recommended below the build an upgrade to the Hyper 212 Evo which will improve cooling performance.
I wish there were more swappable components on laptops. A lot of them these days don't even allow you to swap out the damn SSD, making it a brick at some point ='(
If we do end up recommending laptops down the line, which is something we'd love to do, we want to make sure we have a really good reason for doing so and take the proper amount of time to really figure out which ones are the best in all the different price tiers. Glad to see some love for laptops though!
There are definitely alternatives if you don't want RBG. That's what a lot of the market wants right now though and its the reason why it was included in the higher end builds.
RX 5700 XT is still very new and I don't feel comfortable recommending it when you consider AMD has basically started from the ground up again and they are not the easiest cards to get your hands on. It is much like how I wouldn't recommend Gen 1 Ryzen when it first launched. It was one hell of an appealing product at the price, but then we saw issues with certain memory configurations and other fun bios things that needed to be patched on most of the board partners. Plus, streaming was mentioned in the build and honestly, Nvidia just performs better in that realm right now with their upgraded NVENC implementation across their 2000 series cards, taking some pressure off the CPU. If they end up being solid though, I could definitely see us recommending it in the coming months based off preliminary benchmarks.
Fully agree that a Small Form Factor build would be an excellent addition! Definitely could part together a couple of different configurations for them, having a more budget option and something more high-end.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of small pcs, I've just never really found a case I really, really loved that pushed me over the edge to build one. I'm really hoping I can build one of these beasts to use as my main rig at some point though. M.2 form factor has really helped us minimize the amount of space one needs for drives in the build, making them even smaller.
Trying something new which fits some of our interests on the team while giving you fantastic people content that can help support keeping the site lights online and helping you find new hardware to upgrade.
Is this something you'd like to see continued? Are there other types of hardware you'd like to see spotlighted? What about reviewed? Let me know what you think.
TL;DR of it though is Highlander is indeed a movie reference "there can only be one" which means your deck cannot include more than 1 copy of any card.
Playing wow for the first time! I just wanted to experience the crowded servers, building community and explore the world. Maybe even encounter some characters from HS, that i love!
I picked an ork warrior but i allready regret being mele... Can‘t reach the boars quickly enough.
I doubt i ever will get to the point of playing raids and stuff but who knows
I don't know if you're playing classic or retail, but in any case, warrior is notoriously slow to level so it's not a good beginner pick. If you don't think you'll get far into the game as warrior, know that you can try other classes
Warrior is top dog though in Classic which is a great carrot for when things get tough with the class =)
I'm a huge fan of the original game art which definitely drove some interest into playing. The look has improved so much over the years and is without a doubt better, but there's just something so special about the 3 poly trees and feet that look like bricks.
Then, of course, there is just so much more customization in the gearing, even if we know what the BiS stuff is.
I've had much enjoyment so far grouping up with others, trading to obtain better gear, crafting bags for people, and just having a million people around. Phasing really screws up the live game =/ Oh, and we don't feel like heroes yet which is also awesome. I hate how cinematic everything is in the current game, its almost too flashy. I don't need all that stuff to keep my attention.
Anyway, if anyone is on NA Herod Horde, <Recycled Content> has room, just give someone online a holler. No clue what the end game plans are.
I've pushed out an editor update that may resolve the issue.
Pretty strange we're only hearing about this one in particular now. If the issue does persist, can you confirm it also exists when you disable all your browser addons? Sometimes those can do evil against sites.
I just don't want to advertise my decks because it's more about a discussion. I'm no new to the outof.cards etc and I know how to post decks. Still apreciate your suggestion though ^^
Less about advertising them and more about giving people easy access to the cards so they can discuss them. Right now there is a barrier to entry for this thread if people want to talk about the decks you've recommend, that being loading Hearthstone and pasting deckstrings =)
What was the point of this maneuver by Hearthpwn? It was really weird because as I understood, outofcards was supposed to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, but now we have two forums with low activity.
The original purpose of Hearthstation Out of Cards *was* to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, as we had known for a while that it was shutting down. Flux wanted to purchase Hearthpwn so he and the rest of us could keep it alive, but he was denied the opportunity. We learned after-the-fact that Hearthpwn would survive under new, completely different management. By then Out of Cards was already under way; hence the two websites/forums.
Trust me/us, it was not intentional that we would split the community :/
Can confirm everything Linky says.
The split is definitely not ideal and not how I wanted things originally but you know what, I think this was for the best. It'll take us sometime to implement everything we really want so a slowly building community, although frustrating at times, helps us gain more targeted feedback from the people who matter the most - the ones that will actually talk to you.
When you directly compare the types of engagement the two sites have, Out of Cards goes way above what HearthPwn has ever had. Sure, they got a bunch of people that just swing on by for some decks, but we've got the important part that gives us real strength.
I'm so proud of the team we've assembled here and will continue to build upon for years to come. The community has also been so welcoming to the idea of Out of Cards and with the support really shows that we're on the right track. FeelsGoodMan.
Where did you see this on their site?
Safe to assume 700 since that's been the standard forever.

Yeah, definitely got some overkill here for just Hearthstone but we put everything together assuming people would like to play other games too!

You should check out this week's Rock Paper Scissors article that talks a bit about the history. "A word about Highlander decks"

You figured it out =)
The achievement has been fixed and we've credited everyone who earned it with it.

Yeah quite surprised no announcement today. Maybe pre-orders announced Thursday or next week then.
Undead Mage on Herod w/ Tailoring and Enchanting! Almost got to level 9, Eastern Kingdoms crashed and this has been my life for almost 2 hours.
