Its more so that they always saw wild as a way to play old decks and being always able to play them. If changing Barnes meant the archetype completely died off, that's a negative for their wild philosophy.
I don't agree with it for record's sake. People have been having problems with the card since it existed in Standard. It was a poor choice of a print.
We've got achievements done and they'll be coming out this week. Notifications are up next so expect them real soon! I know how important they are to help direct people to active discussions and content, I regret not launching the site with them.
I view the same thing as the OP , only seeing the 3 white bar on a PC ... BUT it is because i was zoom in a lot (i am an old man with need of glasses !! :-P) so when i zoomed out i saw the regular menu.
Hope this help
Seeing the white bars on PC will happen if you are zoomed in or have your display resolution set low.
You should have access to the forums though via the dropdown "hamburger" menu even on desktop. I'm able to see it and use it just fine here, though it sounds like something might be going wonky for some so I'd love to get to the bottom of it.
If you aren't able to get to the forums from the "hamburger" menu, are you able to show us what you see via a screenshot? Can be uploaded to a site like https://imgur.com
I really love this idea! One problem though is this would only work on PC, as mobile users would have so much screen clutter as it is, a pet would be hard to see as well. Their pet would have to be viewable outside of games, or something you swipe to see.
MY cosmetic idea is voice lines. You earn aditional voice lines and you can remove some and slide new ones in for every hero. This way we can bring back "oops" voice lines, and add some new ones. I like having conversations with other players only using the voice lines on the Hero's. We better becareful because Blizz is gonna steal these ideas and put them in loot boxes!!!
They should build the cosmetics into card packs, that way they can be themed for expansions and even give game veterans a reason to enjoy classic packs again. Every pack unlocks a sixth "card" which would be your cosmetic. If you already have it, enjoy some arcane dust instead. Cosmetics all craftable (or most at least) with arcane dust.
Would you mind providing a screenshot of the home page you see?
I've tried opening the site in Firefox but I just get the regular homepage, which includes a link to the forums.
I just want to make sure this is highlighted. Screenshots are incredibly vital here, and in most bug reports where functionality is not working as intended. If we can get some screenshots, we'll be able to help
I've always been a huge proponent of additional cosmetics in the game, specifically board flair.
Board flair was an idea I had a while back where we could unlock (paid or unpaid) items that would sit beside the board and would showcase your achievements (like 1000 wins with a class) or just be cool looking stuff you could interact with during a game much like you can a normal Hearthstone board.
The biggest blocker in creating such a system is mobile Hearthstone sadly. Mobile doesn't have any extra space beside the board for fun stuff like that, and there's no real room on the board for fun without removing the other corner that gives the board a theme. How do you think they could go about implementing this but for mobile users as well?
But yeah, super on board with this! A leveling system for said cosmetics would definitely let you stand out more too as you play more and more Hearthstone, rewarding players with cool stuff that isn't just winning 5 games every season.
Late last night I pushed changes to the site to prepare us for site achievements. We were running a bad check when users were not logged in that has now been fixed.
Sorry for the trouble, look forward to some fun this week =)
A few updates have been made to the card ratings system.
It now can be access on mobile.
You can now view the results of card ratings.
A few tweaks to the style.
Things I want to finish with it before the reveals really start.
Even better styling so it's more obvious how many stars you're rating something.
The ability for us to put card ratings inside of the card discussion threads.
Card ratings in our card reveal news posts.
I understand the issue you've encountered with left-to-right vs right-to-left. A good way to think about it, at least for now, is that since the items are aligned to the left side of the widget, that's the starting point and is usually the case for such patterns. That isn't an excuse for out current rating implementation though, it's not great.
This really needs to happen yesterday. Some threads are now very long. Implementing this will make people super happy.
I think they just made it happen (at least on mobile interface) however some other stuff (last post by column) is now lost
Yeah, we ditched the last poster column on mobile since it isn't crazy important. The replies column inherits the "jump" button to the most recent post in the thread and once we start tracking when there are new replies for you to view in a thread and make that very obvious via the new icons that have appeared, the latest post column will just be wasted space for mobile.
View count was also dropped for mobile as it isn't very important, a longer space for thread titles really helps the readability of the site.
The official site has the empty slots waiting for the community reveal timetable but it's still empty. About two weeks until community reveals should be a solid guess. Blizzard has previously given us some cards via blog posts even before the community reveals start so make sure to check our front page every now and then for latest reveals (usually blogs happen at 10:00 PDT/13:00 EDT/19:00 CEST).
didn't want to open a new thread so I'm asking in here, Will be a countdown in frontpage like we used to see when they reveal the reveal times (revealing reveal times lol)?
Countdowns are ready to go as soon as we have the dates and times from Blizzard. Got that ready last week =
I do agree the schemes being kicked out was a good call though. The bomb warrior deck legit had a dead card lol. I know what they were trying to do with it, but damn did that suck to draw early on. Now we got a nice meaty body with extra value!
We've been hard at work on a few things over the past week behind the scenes so not many user-facing things have changed. More stuff will be visible once we get into card reveal season =) I did want to keep everyone up to date though on what is going on with the site.
New Features
Decks can now be filtered by dust cost! A great way to find budget options is to put 0 in the first box and 1600 (or less) in the second.
Decks can now be filtered by the cards that they contain.
Logged in users can now see how they have voted across the site and get real-time feedback on their votes.
Mobiles users can now access rating polls and related decks on card pages.
You can now see card ratings on the card pages. This is not finished being styled, but it was important to show the details.
Changes
Pro deck listing on the homepage will now always display 5 decks, regardless of deck age.
Card pages will now always display 5 hot decks, regardless of deck age.
Bug Fixes
Pages should no longer server error on certain comments. Sorry this took a while to get resolved.
Fixed an issue with padding on paragraphs on the site.
Fixed mobile issues with comments.
Fixed an issue where the site would not display your newly created comments until a page refresh.
Fixed issues where the displayed vote score was incorrect or inconsistent with the real data.
Hearthstone classes no longer appear out of alphabetical order across the site.
The calculation for how hot a deck is has been adjusted to fix incorrect weighting of decks with no votes.
Site supporter borders no longer look wonky in comments.
Also, it's worth mentioning that Blizzard announced Tavern Brawls are now going to last all week, so we're going to find a better way to display pro decks on the homepage - we can't have brawls taking it over all the time.
Storage is super cheap. Old threads, decks, comments will not slow the site down, cost next to nothing to store, and provide too much value in the future. If they every slow the site down, we've done something seriously bad and should rethink running websites.
If you look at a site like reddit, it's proven you can run sites with stupid numbers of traffic. Although it would be wicked to be that size, I don't think we're going to have a billion unique visitors a month, ever. Soooooo cool though.
So while it may be a noble idea to help keep the place clean and fast, we'd actually much prefer keeping all the data.
While your intentions are noble, the example you listed is a horrible one. Deleting resolved bug report threads or requests for a feature is a pretty bad idea. Leaving it up lets ppl know that the issue has been resolved or that we may already be considering (not) adding this feature etc., and can prevent from another thread on the same topic popping up from a user who might not have noticed that. Or it can be referenced, if the problem resurfaces etc.
Bingo. Also, it's really bad if we give someone the ability to delete a thread they created when people are actively conversing in it or have in the past. That hurts the community a ton!
Now, what is supposed to happen though is if you delete your post in a thread and its the only post in the thread, the thread is supposed to get deleted. That isn't implemented yet though RIP.
Its more so that they always saw wild as a way to play old decks and being always able to play them. If changing Barnes meant the archetype completely died off, that's a negative for their wild philosophy.

Fought this on ladder while I was playing Murloc Shaman. I hate this deck and want to play it. Bondage Warrior for life!
This was pushed live the other day so I'm marking this as resolved.
There's a new filter on the deck listing that allows you to enter a dust count min and dust count max. I've always been a fan of budget decks being 1600 dust or less to create, so here's a link to Budget Standard Decks.
https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/?is_standard=true&cost_min=0&cost_max=1600
We'll probably add something to the navigation for it in a future update.

Yeah, it is by far the worst art in the game. I'm not even saying that to be funny, it's so bad.
Definitely was one of Hearthstone's more memorable cards =(
The new art looks so damn good though! I'm a huge sucker for mages.
