Fully agree that a Small Form Factor build would be an excellent addition! Definitely could part together a couple of different configurations for them, having a more budget option and something more high-end.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of small pcs, I've just never really found a case I really, really loved that pushed me over the edge to build one. I'm really hoping I can build one of these beasts to use as my main rig at some point though. M.2 form factor has really helped us minimize the amount of space one needs for drives in the build, making them even smaller.
Trying something new which fits some of our interests on the team while giving you fantastic people content that can help support keeping the site lights online and helping you find new hardware to upgrade.
Is this something you'd like to see continued? Are there other types of hardware you'd like to see spotlighted? What about reviewed? Let me know what you think.
TL;DR of it though is Highlander is indeed a movie reference "there can only be one" which means your deck cannot include more than 1 copy of any card.
Playing wow for the first time! I just wanted to experience the crowded servers, building community and explore the world. Maybe even encounter some characters from HS, that i love!
I picked an ork warrior but i allready regret being mele... Can‘t reach the boars quickly enough.
I doubt i ever will get to the point of playing raids and stuff but who knows
I don't know if you're playing classic or retail, but in any case, warrior is notoriously slow to level so it's not a good beginner pick. If you don't think you'll get far into the game as warrior, know that you can try other classes
Warrior is top dog though in Classic which is a great carrot for when things get tough with the class =)
I'm a huge fan of the original game art which definitely drove some interest into playing. The look has improved so much over the years and is without a doubt better, but there's just something so special about the 3 poly trees and feet that look like bricks.
Then, of course, there is just so much more customization in the gearing, even if we know what the BiS stuff is.
I've had much enjoyment so far grouping up with others, trading to obtain better gear, crafting bags for people, and just having a million people around. Phasing really screws up the live game =/ Oh, and we don't feel like heroes yet which is also awesome. I hate how cinematic everything is in the current game, its almost too flashy. I don't need all that stuff to keep my attention.
Anyway, if anyone is on NA Herod Horde, <Recycled Content> has room, just give someone online a holler. No clue what the end game plans are.
I've pushed out an editor update that may resolve the issue.
Pretty strange we're only hearing about this one in particular now. If the issue does persist, can you confirm it also exists when you disable all your browser addons? Sometimes those can do evil against sites.
I just don't want to advertise my decks because it's more about a discussion. I'm no new to the outof.cards etc and I know how to post decks. Still apreciate your suggestion though ^^
Less about advertising them and more about giving people easy access to the cards so they can discuss them. Right now there is a barrier to entry for this thread if people want to talk about the decks you've recommend, that being loading Hearthstone and pasting deckstrings =)
What was the point of this maneuver by Hearthpwn? It was really weird because as I understood, outofcards was supposed to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, but now we have two forums with low activity.
The original purpose of Hearthstation Out of Cards *was* to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, as we had known for a while that it was shutting down. Flux wanted to purchase Hearthpwn so he and the rest of us could keep it alive, but he was denied the opportunity. We learned after-the-fact that Hearthpwn would survive under new, completely different management. By then Out of Cards was already under way; hence the two websites/forums.
Trust me/us, it was not intentional that we would split the community :/
Can confirm everything Linky says.
The split is definitely not ideal and not how I wanted things originally but you know what, I think this was for the best. It'll take us sometime to implement everything we really want so a slowly building community, although frustrating at times, helps us gain more targeted feedback from the people who matter the most - the ones that will actually talk to you.
When you directly compare the types of engagement the two sites have, Out of Cards goes way above what HearthPwn has ever had. Sure, they got a bunch of people that just swing on by for some decks, but we've got the important part that gives us real strength.
I'm so proud of the team we've assembled here and will continue to build upon for years to come. The community has also been so welcoming to the idea of Out of Cards and with the support really shows that we're on the right track. FeelsGoodMan.
You're incorrect in your assumptions of how the front page picks decks. Votes do matter to some degree, but it isn't everything. All decks have an internal score we call the "hot score" and is periodically recalculated.
I completely agree though that we need to do more for deck discoverability. One thing that I implemented early on was automatic flagging of decks that have guides written for them. This is linked in our navigation as the first item under Decks to encourage people to not only write guides but also make it so much easier to find good decks. https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/?has_guide=true
I've talked internally about doing something with showcasing a random deck with a guide on the front page or also allowing staff to be able to "recommend" decks that would gain increased internal scores to get them to the front page faster. We've also got some work to do with making it more obvious that people should be voting on decks which may end up helping some other decks see the light.
There is a lot more work we can do with decks and it'll be something that gets improved down the line. There's also plenty of places we haven't been automatically linking decks yet which can help with it too. Right now though, the focus is on some other tools that we want to get out for the community (which should help with decks too) and then we can wrap back around and start working more on the core of decks.
Some updates have gone out over the past few days, here is our changelog!
I'm sorry these don't come out as frequently as they should. We didn't push out much worth mentioning during the card reveal period and expansion launch. I've also been helping get all our new staff on board, as you've probably noticed with all the great new content we've had on the front page. Love 'em <3
New Features
You can now "install" Out of Cards onto your Android Phone if you use Chrome.
Chrome on android has this cool feature called "Add to Home screen". We now have meta data that tells this how to act and will show our derpcorn icon should you choose to add the site to your home screen. It is easy, one-tap access to the site!
Content authors on news posts now have bios!
They'll display at the bottom of posts if an author has written one. Learn more about all of us =)
Deck Collection BBCode
We've got a new bbcode you can use to promote your decks. "hsdeckcollection" is the tag name and it accepts a comma-separated list of deck ids.
Example usage:
Card BBCode can now use custom names!
By using the new, optional text argument, you can now give your memes card tooltips and styling.
We've got better caching on the homepage now which have increased the page load speed by almost double!
Deck Embeds now display class icons in the in their headers and have footers with votes, dust cost, comments, views meta data.
Card and deck listings now have pretty headers when a single class is selected.
Card and deck listings now have pretty urls when a single class is selected.
Desktop users no longer have sticky navigation.
Dev Note: Feedback was mixed on this but ultimately it was decided to remove the sticky nav for desktop users as it sometimes created more problems then it solved.
Achievement points now display on your comments and forum posts.
Bug Fixes
When you have a class selected on the decks listing, the archetypes box will now populate with only that class (requires a page reload)
Archetypes now sort by class and then alphabetical by default across the site.
When you earn a new forum title, your old one will now still say selected.
Fixed the default font in the editor from displaying as Arial. Open Sans is the way forward!
When sending someone a direct message, you will no longer have it appear as unread for yourself.
There is no way to use Amazon Coins to purchase stuff off the Battle.net web store. They can only be used for stuff in-game.
With that said, Uldum packs are in-game so just load up the Amazon App Store version of Hearthstone and buy em. I always recommend checking in-game first to see if what you want to buy is available before buying amazon coins.

You should check out this week's Rock Paper Scissors article that talks a bit about the history. "A word about Highlander decks"

TL;DR of it though is Highlander is indeed a movie reference "there can only be one" which means your deck cannot include more than 1 copy of any card.
You figured it out =)
The achievement has been fixed and we've credited everyone who earned it with it.

Yeah quite surprised no announcement today. Maybe pre-orders announced Thursday or next week then.
Undead Mage on Herod w/ Tailoring and Enchanting! Almost got to level 9, Eastern Kingdoms crashed and this has been my life for almost 2 hours.

I don't think priest is going to go hiding, though it certainly did take a decent hit. Extra Arms felt so great to play, it is a shame =(
This'll be out shortly.
I agree this would be awesome.
