Alright, there's been a lot of slacking when it comes to site changelogs. I don't have a great excuse, they just take a lot of time to make. Here's everything worth mentioning since the last changelog appeared on July 2.
New Features
New Navigation!
Completely revamped to work on mobile and desktop just as good! No more weird issues.
More content is available on the navigation while remaining even more accessible.
Your feedback will help shape the direction the navigation continues to go.
Card Voting
Mobile users can now vote on cards via card pages!
We now display the scores for card voting.
Card Reveal Countdowns
Accessible on the front page and for mobile users, a first for Hearthstone community sites.
You can view all the Uldum countdowns on a dedicated page.
You can now click on a link in the last post column of forum threads to quickly jump to the post.
Direct Messages
You can now send messages to other members on the site.
Access your inbox through the navigation menu where your name is, or click here!
If you have an unread private message, a green icon will appear on the navigation bar beside your name.
Developer Note: Still investigating a better way to display unread PM counts for mobile users. Stay tuned, friends.
Deckbuilder
Added a dust cost calculation above the card list so you know how wallet-heavy your deck is.
Changes
Card pages will now always output decks featuring those cards, even if no decks have been recently created with them.
Forums work better on mobile devices.
Buttons on the site have been given COLOR. Less grey, more happy faces.
Saviors of Uldum now has its proper expansion icon.
Site header has been updated for Saviors of Uldum.
Your signature, if it exists, will now appear on your edited forum posts. This was a simple display error, it was fixed if your refreshed the page, this now no longer requires a refresh.
Moved forum threads can now figure out where they moved to and old links will properly redirect.
Bug Fixes
Fixed multiple issues with the "hotness" of decks being incorrectly calculated for older decks.
Supporter avatar borders now appear correctly on mobile.
Fixed an issue preventing us from properly flagging supporter accounts for those that support the site via Twitch.
Card count in deck on deckbuilder now works correctly for logged out users.
Flavor Text headers will no longer display on card pages if the card doesn't have flavor text. (Usually tokens, newly revealed cards)
"Undefined" cards in the deckbuilder will no longer be added to your deck should you click on an empty space.
Upcoming
Achievements are almost here. They're running well in the background right now but we're still finishing up the UI for them and adding more to the site. The plan is to launch achievements with over 250 of them so I hope you're ready! Ideally we can finish this before the end of this week, I'm thinking it is more likely to happen this weekend though or on Monday. We've gone through a few iterations of them internally and are quite happy with what we've achieved.
Notifications are also almost here. These will launch alongside achievements and are currently also working in the background pretty well. We will not be supporting a ton of different types of notifications to start with, but we'll be able to add them in. Currently, you cannot subscribe to threads, decks, and users, all things we want to create down the road to add to the quality of the notifications system. Your feedback once they launch to let us know what kind of notifications you would like to see will help us shape them.
I think "Pack Giveaway" is making the header take up too much vertical space. Also, I can't see a way to navigate to guides for past expansions. Maybe "Expansions" should link to a full list?
Well, that one is on me.
I'll make sure Expansions itself links to the page and we'll get an extra element in the more column for it.
Great to hear you're liking it! Been putting quite a bit of work into redoing the site header so the navigation would work perfectly on mobile. Now we just need a proper logo for the top left of the header.
Limited edition is numbered and signed by several members of the art team. It also is leatherbound and comes in a special case that opens up like the collection manager. Oh, and it comes with a couple of special prints!
Are the titles going to be based on hearthstone cards again (just like most of them are in hearthpwn)? If so, may we have titles of some cards before they underwent a name change? I had Mistress of Pain back in the days and I would like to use it again.
None of the title rewards for post count are finalized yet, but I don't see why we couldn't throwback to some old names =)
That's our next big thing we're going to get out. Don't have an ETA on it though it has been discussed a thousand times and we think we've got most of it figured out. Ideally we're ready with it before the next set comes out, but I'm not able to promise it just yet.
Nice, I’m really looking forward to it :))) will we get an achievement for joining during the hearthstation era? I think you mentioned something at the time...
Oh and thanks for getting the messages online! I’m already having a cool conversation in my message box without troubling the whole community with it. The site’s getting better and better
Yup, that's going to be categorized as a Feat of Strength and as such won't reward any points, but it will give you a title reward =
Achievements are "live" right now but we haven't made them accessible, the count was an error I didn't mean to show up on profiles. The goal was to have them out by the end of last week, along with notifications, but we're still adding in achievements and finishing up notifications.
They should go live this week though and we'll calculate a bunch of the achievements going backwards too. Your achievement points may reset from what they currently are as we make updates to the system and need to clear out everyone's earnings (temporarily). I cannot wait to get these out for everyone!
We also have a new navigation coming as well that works wonderfully on mobile.
Agreed. These past few months have been the best Hearthstone experience I have ever had, and its not just with the game. Blizzard finally got their stuff together!
Held of on main paging it until I knew for certain it was going to be 4 full card reveals as the wording had some interpretation to it. Confirmed though, it's four full reveals, so it's likely to be all the explorers. That's gonna be one hell of a panel!
Are there going to be under-achievements as well? For example, there was that one post about the Ragnaros card back where Almaniarra got like a billion downvotes. So are they going to get some cool devil horns on their avatar or something? If so, I'm going to stop being so nice so I can get devil horns too.
Achievements will never promote negative behaviour =
Well that's certainly a huge increase compared to before!
I really still don't know how I feel about battle passes in card games. It's certainly a cool way to incentivize people to login while spending money since it is just too good of a deal, but I don't know, I feel like it can contribute to more burnout. I burned out of Apex Legends before I finished my battlepass and felt bad I was 20 levels away so I bought them. Now I'm not even playing season 2 because I feel like I'll be missing out if I don't buy the pass but I don't have the time to complete it. I'm in a similar boat with Magic where I'm playing much more Hearthstone atm so the pass almost doesn't make sense, maybe.
Regardless, good on them for actually hearing the community.
We've got achievements done and they'll be coming out this week. Notifications are up next so expect them real soon! I know how important they are to help direct people to active discussions and content, I regret not launching the site with them.
Notifications definitely are important and I am behind this 100%....but can we please not have achievements?
It's probably too late to ask at this point, but honestly it detracts from being in a community. The only people who find the need for achievements are the same people who derive personal value from their XBOX Live gamerscore. I mean to be perfectly honest, they weren't even achievements in the full sense of the word. Hell, beating Gears of War 3 on hard actually has more merit to it then "create a deck with Deathwing in it".
I have to disagree with you though I applaud the courage to stand up for what you believe in.
Achievements encourage interaction on the website which helps bolster the community more than anything. I've personally witnessed what they can do for a website and the love our community members have for them which is why they were a top priority. I think it is important that we can showcase how active someone has been on a site in a way that isn't just post count, even if some of the achievements are silly.
Ultimately it is a system designed for fun and if it isn't something you're interested in, you aren't required to participate - much like how we don't force people to click on fan creations content on the homepage. I think people who loved achievements before will really like what we've done with them here.
It has been added. Can't believe we missed that, thank you!

But yeah, we don't have a dedicated thread to discuss it, but this is a good one!
Assuming you're talking about collections.

I too am a wild advocate but don't play it myself. I love what the format is, I just want to play with the new toys 99% of the time

Yeah seriously. The free packs alone was gonna do well, this is gonna bump it up to top on twitch ez

Hey thanks for pointing that out - it looks like I was missing Alec on my tracker. I've since added him and updated the post.
