There in lies the fun, the spellburst should trigger as you cast the spell following stack rules.

The only card I'm not psyched about was Archwitch Willow.  Everything else seems to really blow things out of the water and this legendary just seems meh.

I know right?  It gives you 2 spells played with "no" mana, and when you draw up the next 5, you could very well get Edwin early game for something scary or the miscreants as well.   Miracle Rogue, here we go.

Super fun!  I really enjoy these word searches.  I hope to see them continue.

I'm looking forward Diligent Notetaker followed up by Tidal Wave for late game shenanigans.  The squelching that would happen immediately after that would be worth it.  Granted, that may only really help you in situations where you were able to drag it out a long time without dying and you opponent having a rampant low health board... it still would be pretty satisfying to get off even if only for the meme.

That Espionage Rogue build looks pretty fun.  I'm looking forward to seeing how the actual play can go through with it.

When sales/accounts started to drop in WoW, they started doing more expansions, opening up class restrictions, and changing up the way that old school players were playing the game in an effort to stay fresh.  It's not a surprise to see Hearthstone following suit on this, it is the natural progression of a game.  Come to think of it, one of the few MMO games to NOT go through a dramatic transformation would have been Starcraft 2

I really like the bundles.  At the same time, doing this particular bundle anytime around the new release wouldn't garner a lot of attention or sales.  If they wanted to make money the least they could do is include a Scholo Legendary.

Oh how I love Making Mummies.  It is still abused in wild with the magnetic ability.  I would like to hope that with some of the cards coming out this year, that it may see a resurgence in the standard meta.

With the release of Scholomance Academy looming ever so close, I can already feel my fingers start to twitch closer and closer to the Mass Dust option after cracking my packs to start crafting all the wonderful things that I didn't get.  I am trying my absolute best to try and keep myself from doing it this time around.  It was a rough one with Ashes of Outland because there were so many issues with the power of Demon Hunter, once I thought that the nerfs were done, I was totally wrong and ended up losing out on a lot of potential crafting.

Along those thought lines is where I am currently stuck.  I can see the sheer power of a number of the cards in this release.  I KNOW that the nerfs are coming and probably in places that not a lot of us are seeing (Although I would bet that Secret Passage will be errata'd to say something like, "At the end of turn discard those cards" or the cost will go to (3)).

What I am getting at, finally, is what does everyone else do to keep yourself from dusting things too early or not craft something that looks amazing, but is in all reality mediocre?  After Galakrond launched, I had a surplus of dust and finally crafted Raza the Chained and Kazakus to finally put together my Highlander Priest.  I recently had another legendary amount of dust and instead of going the smarter route and get Reliquary of Souls, I crafted Activate the Obelisk and have been regretting my decision since.

Granted, they are both solid cards and I like playing the quest, I just inherently made the wrong decision in crafting.  So my final question is what do all of you do to keep from crafting cards that look like they are amazing, but in reality are lame and/or restricted to being used in specific decks?

I fully agree with and stated similar things about Secret Passage and Infiltrator Lilian on their revel days. Secret Passage is just begging to be nerfed day 1.  The fact that you can drop it for "free" if you have The Coin or a Preparation which will enable you to trigger any combo cards you get with the draw is obviously good.  ADD that you do not lose the cards after the turn ends and you just swap back makes this even better.

As for Infiltrator Lilian, her stat lines are mediocre at best. BUT the fact that she has stealth and a deathrattle effect that will only serve to knock something else to the ground and possibly go face and stick around for a turn as well.  Add onto it that if she is around on your opponent's turn and they kill her, her "come back" will punch something that turn as well.  Rogue certainly got a lot of good cards to play with in this expansion.

For the most part, I agree with the statements about these cards... mostly.  I do not think that Mindrender Illucia is all that great. To me it feels like it is rewarding you for either having crap in your hand or having no hand... which is the direct opposite of what Priest needs or wants.  Even in the Divine Spirit - Inner Strength combos you still need to have cards in hand.  I'm not seeing it being used right out the gate.

I have yet to see any of the card that are going to be at Paladin's use that aren't going to be awesome.  The only thing I have to say where I differ from the consensus of what's been said is about Argent Braggart.  I don't think that it was meant to be a one and done card.  It's not removal, it is like Immortal Prelate, but will need some coaxing to find the right place where it works.

YES, Silence will be it's demise, much like everything. But cards like Immortal Prelate and Argent Braggart I don't think were intended to be stand alone cards, but part of something bigger and better.  With the Prelate, I have found a lot of use in Wild with handbuffs and cycling through my deck. With Argent Braggart, I am seeing combinations with Subdue or similar "removal". I honestly thing that putting it in Pure Paladin will be staple in the coming meta.

I personally like [Hearthstone Card (Madam lazul) Not Found] in Wild a lot.  I use her in my Highlander deck when I see my opponent do something that I need to get prepped to defend.  But just liking her doesn't add value to the card, only finding it's use.

This is something that a number of these other cards couldn't really use. Chameleos, I tried to make use of it. The only thing that I really found of any use for it was being able to see what cards my opponent was holding onto each turn, provided they didn't play the card it copied. But knowing that your opponent didn't have that Lightning Bolt or Twisting Nether in their hand was beneficial, but REALLY hard to justify a card slot for it.

The other cards, mostly The Marsh Queen for me at least, were real let downs.  The only real hope that I can see to salvage any of these would be Troggzor the Earthinator with all the mage decks running around in wild.  However those decks are running so much board hate that it still sucks.

Does anyone else see the problem with this and Glide?

This is a pretty solid write up of the Mage cards.  Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about any of these.  They are all extremely awesome and  think that Mage will be more of a powerhouse in the meta.

I thoroughly enjoy these meme decks.  Especially when they fire off as an OTK.  Nice work

I disagree with the review of Bloated Python.  Regardless if the minion it spawns is a beast or not, the fact that this can be grabbed by Hunter's search cards and buffed as IT is a beast means that this is way better than it is given credit.  With all the hand buff that Hunter has now, this card will certainly be a staple in a lot of decks. It's efficient and replaces itself.

I feel like Druid got the shaft on this expansion.  Nothing really amazing or long lasting in my opinion.  I mean, if you are able to play Embiggen and a lot of ramp, Survival of the Fittest may be worth playing with lots of low cost minions, but then you need to think about a decent method to draw them out of your deck... something that druid needs if there are going to be lots of minions
