  • I think it's still just 3. The 4th slot is reserved for the legendary/event quests.

  • I would assume no. Otherwise that XP bonus would get out of hand quickly.

This reminds me of [Hearthstone Card (Dragonqueen Alexstraza) Not Found] in that it is a high mana card that gives you two new cards for 0 mana.

Same Thought with a few subtle differences:

    • Costs 1 mana less
    • You get 2 cards from your deck not randomly created
    • No condition to get the effect
    • Downside is you pay with health instead of mana

All in all, I think its a very good card.

  • I agree this isn't a bad card but I don't see any deck that will run this.

  • I don't see any deck outside of mill decks running this. The drawback is too punishing.

It either it helps your opponents find their answer or you find their lethal for them.

    Hobgoblin 2.0 for Paladins.

My first thought when I first saw the card.

Happy for SHR mid-range paladin support. Excited to try it out.

  • It does live up to the rager name lol

  • Wow, this is so bad. Only maybe usable against a "created by" priest that has a full hand.

You only gain +1 attack for such a big draw back.

  • I think card is the win con itself, so you need to build around it. Sort of reminds me of Chef Nomi decks. I don't think you can slot this in any deck.

Honestly not sure how to build it correctly. I'm thinking on the lines of 2 of this, 2 10 cost cards, Deck of Chaos if warlock, and the rest survival or draw cards.

  • I'm happy though, aside from the XP boost, the pass offers no in-game advantage, just mostly cosmetics.

I'm not FTP but I hate being "forced" to buy something to stay competitive.

  • Thanks for this.

Didn't know the timing of the revamp.

  • This card looks really good.

    4/5 body + 4 damage over 2 attacks + persistent effect

And as others have mentioned, good synergy with Rockbiter Weapon or any pre-equipped weapon.

  • Agree with the assessment that this is a Paladin's version of a Counterspell. Weaker but cheaper.

My first thought is as board clear protection for a aggro paladin. For 1 mana, easy to squeeze this in any turn even the early ones.

  • 5/5 for the text, 1/5 for the card.

    Filler minion.

  • Reminds me of a buffed [Hearthstone Card (Ironforged Portal) Not Found].

I don't this will see play unless part of a deck that aims to cheat out big spells. Such a deck would prolly run Lunar Eclipse and the amplifier Solar Eclipse.

  • Pretty hard to use, but if you pull off protecting this you can snowball pretty hard.

  • Will be very happy if this brings a version of secret mage to standard.

For this looks like a solid value card:

    • The 5/5 body is worth around 4.5 mana.
    • The single card draw is worth around 1.5 mana.

So playing this in a pinch as a vanilla card isn't even too bad.

Playing this in a deck built around secrets, you would prolly draw 3 cards on average.

  • Pretty strong but inconsistent card for casino mage.

Unfortunately for me, I hate that archetype.

  • Interesting card. Its value depends on the shuffle support that's given this expansion.
