First thing I tried was a Highlander-Dragon-Galkrond-Priest... Wasn't really good. Compared to wild Razakus-Priest, you really lack boardclear and heal. Card draw/generation was fine though.
Then I tried pure Galakrond-Priest and I won about half of my games (won against every Mage, one Waxadred-Rogue but had a pretty tough time against shaman an warrior). The HP is just like Deathstalker Rexxars:It wins you the lategame. As it turns out, heal and infinite big Minions is preeeeeettyyyy goooooood!
I also play Murozond the Infinite in this Deck, and he's actually better than I thought. Cause, you know, he copys your Opponents turn, and they usually try to have a GOOD turn. The best Thing that happend: Opponent plays Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, clears my board with the Maly-Flamestrike and plays 2 other 8-8s (Pocket Galaxy) .Than BOOM. Murozond hits the board, I clear his entire Board AND develop multiple 8-8s.
Yea, you are right about Blizzard not being morally obligated to do it. However, it should be said that it should be in their interest to appael as the „good guys" to their customers. This entire thread is an example of them having frustrated some players.
I know that my argumentation could be better (my knowledge about marketing and Brand-Customer-Relationship is mediocre at best), but I wanted to understand and maybe explain where the OPs viewpoint is coming from: he apparently is a collector-type of player, which means that he values things such as rarity/exclusivity and so. And this „free-giveaway“ takes this away from him and other players that think alike. The OP, at least in my Opinion, is in the righ to be upset.
I think Blizzard should've made her available like they did it before, by a limited time offer. This way everyone gets the chance to obtain her without taking this „excludivity" from older Owners. I know it seems just about the same as just getting it, but trust me. A little bit of engagement and this „special expierence“ are very important to a specific group of players (which are probably also most likely those who would buy special skins in the future).
So, that's pretty much my Standpoint on this whole topic. I hope I could add something to this discussion. :)
Man, all this discussion about Tyrande and I'm just sitting here with my 1k Anduin skin annoying people with my WOW-Emote.
But, just to add something to all this: I think that the old Owners should be compensated.
I see a lot of people here writting stuff like „you're not losing anything", „you just don't want others to enjoy that skin“, etc. This might get me downvoted, but truth is that older owners do lose something, and that's the emotional value of this skin. Yes, getting Tyrande was not hard, but that's not important. What is however is this little special something that you get from being at the right place at the right time, which is very important to collectors.
When you're selling a product, which in this case is indirectly HS, you want to gain the trust/appreciation of your customerbase. The best way to do so is to establish an emotional bond between customer and product. Or, to put it in other words: You're not just selling a product, you're also selling the experience!
„Hey, you watch HS on Twitch? Well, thank you for your interest in the Community! Here's a little gift!“
By giving away the Skin for free, you are taking away the value it has to players, which leads to them feeling betrayed. You don't want this to happen, so you should give older owners at least something.
So, yeah, it's complicated. I don't think to much about skins, they're just some jpg's with moving effects. But if you do, if you are someone who paid for their skin or did take part in a special event, you should be compensated. After all, you did your part in this Customer-Product-Relationship by engaging and giving your trust to Blizzard.
That’s all well and good, but Blizzard sold the product. The fact that older players bought it for the experience is another matter entirely, which Blizzard has no responsibility over. Therefore, Blizzard doesn’t owe them refunds.
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough
When I say product I mean HS, not the Skin itself.
About the expierience-thing: It's very important to give your target group something they can expierience, so they keep engaging with the product (in this case: take part in limited time Event — > maybe spend Money on Packs/Skins). So, yes, Blizzard has some kind of responsibility when it comes things like these, cause it's these things that lead to more trust between them and the customer and therefore possibly more sales in the future.
I'm not talking about Refunds. The Customers were not harmed, so that would be the wrong thing. What I'm saying is, that it would be in Blizzards interest to compensate these „collectors " and keep their trust, because these are also the people that are the most likely to buy more of exclusive Items (like Skins through Pre-Order).

Congrats to all the winners! I hope you get the cards you want!
BTW, this Giveaway was a great Idea!
I visit this Site almost daily, but I never had discussions or contributed anything. Just got the News and Netdecked a bit. But when I read about the Giveaway, I thought : Hey, maybe I should start to engage with the Community a bit more, could be fun (Also, FREE STUFF!!).
And it was really cool actually! Didn't win the big One, but guess what: Still worth it! To see everyone's Reaction, hear their Opinions/Ideas and talking about possible Decks was awesome!
So, yeah thx for the Opportunity Mods and everyone else! :D
The Go-To Invoker for Galakrond. I can see it being played mostly in Warrior and Priest. Solid choice for Rogue and maybe Warlock. Shamans have Corrupt Elementalist, so they don't really need neutral Invokers.
Wild Mech-Hunter will try this Card. 1-Drop that grows is very scary. Kind of like a Questing Adventurer if you consider Magnetize. Could cost you the game if you remove it immediately.
First, Hunter has a lot of ways to summon Rush-Minions, so activating this is extremely easy. And Second, summoning Rush-Minions is in no way punishing and actually helps you to control the Board.
It really hurts that the Warrior invokes are pretty mediocre.
I think this is way better in a slower Deck than in Aggro. The Buffs are huge, yeah, but 7 Mana deal sometimes 5 Damage is nothing aggressive Decks wanna do.
Also, shouldn't you have lethal on that turn as Aggro-Warrior? Why draw cards if you can finish your opponent?
Of course is the LEAGUE OF E.V.I.L. the better team!
They've got everything you'd want! Advanced Technology, mighty Spells and a seemingly endless army of Lackeys at their Service. And don't forget that they are lead by the one true SUPREME ARCHEOLOGIST!
And what has the League of Lo... I mean, Explorers to offer?
A mediocre Druid, an over-sized Garden Gnome, a Murloc and a spellslinging Dragon COMPLETELY NORMAL HUMAN MAN.

So much free Stuff...
Alright, who are these Guys and what have they done to Blizzard?!
But seriously, that's a lot of freebies for f2p players! These Quests aren't hard to complete so everyone should have a good start.
I'm also excited for the new shop. Wild support is always welcome!
It's always cool to see how the pros do their work. Right now I'm learning how to illustrate and to see the step-by-step progress really helps!
Damn, so close! ; P
Congrats to all the winners! I hope you get the cards you want!

Waxadred - Dragon-Rogue ftw!
Dragonqueen Alexstrasza - Highlander-Decks are my fav archetype. And since it's neutral, you can do whatever you want with it
Kronx Dragonhoof - seems to be the must-have Legendary of this set
Murozond the Infinite - because it's a Dragon in Priest. 'nuff said.
As far as epics go, definitely Fate Weaver. The Effect is very strong and, again, it's a Dragon in Priest
I'd say it's definitely THE Arena card of this xpac. Big Body, Taunt and save from Removal (which is game winning in most games).
Very similar to Crowd Roaster, but without the required condition.
You know, it's kinda funny. There's literally 4 Classes that can't play this, yet it'll probably be the most played Card of the xpac!
Not much to say about this, Day-1 Craft, must-include and PRAISE GALAKROND!!
Just a very strong, well designed Card.
First, Hunter has a lot of ways to summon Rush-Minions, so activating this is extremely easy. And Second, summoning Rush-Minions is in no way punishing and actually helps you to control the Board.
The weakest SQ imo.
Good for cheap removal, but Druid does not really need that right now.
But maybe Gonk, the Godking of Meme-Druids himself, can save this Card?!
People will play this Card just because of the Invokes. It reminds me of Odd-Pally.
BTW. Getting 2 1-1s for playing Zoo-support in a Zoo-Deck sounds REALLY GOOD.
It really hurts that the Warrior invokes are pretty mediocre.
I think this is way better in a slower Deck than in Aggro. The Buffs are huge, yeah, but 7 Mana deal sometimes 5 Damage is nothing aggressive Decks wanna do.

Is this really a Discussion we need to have?
Of course is the LEAGUE OF E.V.I.L. the better team!

A mediocre Druid, an over-sized Garden Gnome, a Murloc and a spellslinging Dragon COMPLETELY NORMAL HUMAN MAN.
So, even the amount of freebies for this xpac got powercreeped? I'm alright with that!
Those are some great News! A lot of wild players have requested that for ages, now they are finally making it happen.
I hope the Wild Player-Base will see some long awaited increase. Fighting the same 10 People over and over again gets boring real quick
