The highest I made it was round 23, because I got lucky with not getting asked for rarity. I have no idea whether something is a common, rare, or epic though. Also, it starts asking for two things after round ten and three things after round twenty. I kinda want to cheat so I can go until it's nothing but card art or something.
Can anyone provide a list of cards that have had their types adjusted? I don't have Hearthstone downloaded anymore (I don't really plan on playing it again), but I would like to know which cards were changed. I've noticed a few bizarre ones in videos I've watched, like Igneous Lavagorger is an Elemental Beast now.
Based on the artwork of Scourge Strike and Remembrance of Ice, I think that they're fallen paladins who were risen as death knights, but broke free of The Lich King and are now helping fight off the Scourge in Silvermoon. That's basically the origin story for the playable Death Knights in WoW.
I bet that the Death Knight treasures will have Rune requirements. Crimson seems like an obvious Blood card to me. Maybe three double-runers and three triple-runers.
Devourer of Souls is actually Blizzard being super-lazy with boss models. Reliquary was a boss in Black Temple, Devourer was a boss in Icecrown Citadel. They just took a boss from an expansion ago and painted it red.
You can't get Rat King. You can't get cards that have an ability and a keyword, only one or the other. Every Zombeast is made of one minion with an ability, and another minion with either only keywords or just a vanilla.
Wrath exists for small minions, Scale of Onyxia exists for... well, everything because Druid is very balanced, but also big minions. You need a board for Wither to be used as removal, and if you have a board as Druid you're playing token. Ergo, just play Power of the Wild.
Wither looks really bad. It's rare that a minion will have enough stats to give a full board +1/+1, and it only works with Undead specifically. Just play Power of the Wild.
Animate Dead is probably crap since we're long past the era of resurrecting your Injured Blademaster. Notably, it's very good with Scourge Rager, though. It certainly has potential, but I'm not hopeful.
Ghostly Strike will either be in every single deck because the utility of 1 damage is better than Dredging, or it'll only be in combo decks that run both it and Gone Fishin'. There's a lot of Reborn stuff in this set, so 1 damage is relevant pretty often.
I'm pretty sure it was just a plot contrivance. Back in Cataclysm, Sylvanas gained the service of Arthas' val'kyr, and she was using them to resurrect fallen Alliance soldiers into new Forsaken. One of the reasons the worgen were brought into the Alliance's ranks was to convert their forces in Lordaeron into worgen so that Sylvanas couldn't do that.
The reason why The Lich King is the exception is so they could justify you rolling a worgen death knight.
Warcraft lore nerd here, getting irrationally angry about Mind Eater. Worgen can't be risen as undead, except only as Death Knights and only by the Lich King. It's the main plot point in Silverpine Forest post-Cataclysm.
I'm actually a little saddened by Scourge Tamer. It makes Deathstalker Rexxar just a little less unique. It's like when in World of Warcraft they introduce a Raid boss with a really awesome model, then two expansions later you need to collect 10 Chromaggus asses in the new race's starting zone.
Nerubian Vizier is only a 2/4. I think if 2/4 Discover were any good, Pandaren Importer would still be seeing play. (Also, did Blizz forget to unnerf that card or something? You can't do the broken combo anymore, guys).

It sounds to me like the Rogue generated an Azsharan Defector with Reconnaissance, and the Priest copied the Sunken Defector with Identity Theft.
It's a Kvaldir.
Contagion Concoction damages the minion's controlling hero, not the enemy hero. It's an anti-zoo card.

I like the callback to Crystalsong Portal. Very similar artwork, too.

Ouch. I hope you got them out of there.

Anachronos is cool and all, but I'm more interested in the Bob origin story at the end.
It's funny, because Feast or Famine actually has a Wretched on the artwork, and they've said that DH is representing the Wretched this set.

Actually no, Omega cards did it first. Nerd.
None of them did anything as neat as Astalor, though.
