  • That puzzle's pretty hard. You might have to pack it in.

  • Hir'eek, the Bat

    Terrible build-around card.

  • The game begins with 4 Large Waxy Gifts in play for each player. The gifts are 0 mana 0/4s with the Deathrattle to give your opponent a random Legendary, and reduce its cost by 3.

Basically, play Shaman because Evolve removes all the gifts and gives you four 1-drops, and Sea Giant and Mogu Fleshshaper are 2 and 1 mana respectively and equally broken Evolve targets.

  • I have good memories of SoU era Highlander Hunter, with Zul'jin. That was a fun deck.

  • I swapped out Kooky Chemist and Hoard Pillager for Sea Giant and Mogu Fleshshaper. Those were a bit too slow, and battlefield stuff is super broken. Otherwise, good list.

  • Thank god you can do quests in Tavern Brawls again. Removing that was such a pointless slap in the face.

  • It happens if a spell gets Countered or gooed by Oh My Yogg. It advances the card text but not the actual effect. It's an annoying bug.

You can at least tell if it happened - the border won't be yellow if it isn't active, even if it says "Ready".

  • The Demon Hunter frames look so nice. Same with that pack. That's definitely my favourite of the bunch.

  • This is probably a pipe dream, but I hope they change Il'gynoth. And I mean, change Il'gynoth, to like deal the damage to minions or something. Demon Hunter did not need a card that literally doubles their already insane burst damage.

At the very least, I expect Bladed Lady to get nerfed. That card is ridiculous.

  • Off the top of my head (minus ones that have been mentioned): Drakkari Trickster, Tanglefur Mystic, Griftah, K'thir Ritualist, Fishflinger, and Mechanical Yeti (remember when 4/5s with upsides also needed a downside?).

There's also Coldlight Oracle, Research Project, Dancing Swords, Utgarde Grapplesniper, and Prize Vendor depending on your definition of giving cards.

  • I'm surprised to see Silas so low. He kicked ass in my Pen Flinger paladin before the set dropped.

Maybe it's a combination of people getting bored of him and Pure Paladin just being the better deck. Still, I wasn't expecting him below G'huun and The Nameless One.

  • Magma Rager and Silverback Patriarch should never, ever change. They're too iconic. I also strongly dislike changing card art and names for the same reason.

  • Maybe do Quest Priest? I don't know if C'Thun is particularly good in a Quest Priest deck, but if you're just achievement hunting that seems like the easiest way to make opponents avoid hurting themselves.

  • The issue isn't Duels and quests. The issue is Blizzard blatantly screwing over their casual modes for no reason. You basically have to pay money to earn gold now, unless you want to lose to 1. People who have meta ladder decks 2. People who have more choice and overpowered new heroes in Battlegrounds 3. People who have better starting decks in Duels.

I don't like Duels anyway, so whatever. I was never going to play it for quests. Now I won't play anything.

  • To add to the greedy bullshit, I'm wondering why the fuck you can't do quests in Tavern Brawls anymore. Way to alienate your casual playerbase completely.

I did 90% of my quests in Tavern Brawls because I get sick of the ladder. When the meta goes back to 90% Demon Hunters that are both gross aggro decks and OTK Combo decks without sacrificing any card quality, I would prefer to stick to Tavern Brawls. Guess I just won't play your fucking game, instead!

Or perhaps I'm supposed to waste all my dust on old cards instead of saving it for new 170 card sets so I can play Duels, the latest hotness! Fuck Arena, they don't pay enough money to care about! Like I said, completely alienating your casual playerbase.

This turned into quite a ramble... I'm going back to Heroes of the Storm. That's the last bastion of Blizzard. It's amazing how generous and community-focused a dev team can be when the corporate behemoth doesn't give a shit about it.

  • Quote From PopeNeia

Priest literally promotes the most unfun and boring play in any game I have ever seen.

That's fucking hilarious, when Demon Hunters exist.

  • I feel like people didn't respond positively to this last time I said it, but I am gonna share it again because it's a good tip:

If you do ctrl + F, you bring up a bar that's lets you search for terms. You can't actually locate words in the word search, but you can highlight letters. Highlighting the first letter of a word makes it a lot easier to find, since you can check each one to see if it has the next letter beside it.

  • I would count Revolve. Its name at the very least is evoking the idea.

  • Kind of a strange observation, but I like the way the Hearthstone logo is rendered on this one. It's a lot thinner than usual.
