No it is stagnant, our meta is the same pre expansion as it was post expansion. You can run stuff that wins less often if you want to, but the majority won't. How much targon do you see now? How much Taric, how much of any champion that isnt Sol?

I dont think nerfing Demacia makes Targon any better. There are other aggro lists that were just as strong as scouts even if they had a slightly lower win rate.
Yeah Mogwai plays some pretty cool lists. But the archetypes aren't invented by him certainly. You can play undead anivia, you can play Demacia elites, you can play Jinx Draven, these lists are always viable, they just don't win as often as Bilgewater which is a little too high tempo right now.
Magic struggles with the concept of power creep as well. The Amohnket, and Ixalan blocks were designed to be fun focused and didnt sell, so we got War Of The Spark.
The reality is that the difference between Targon and Bilgewater is about a 3 percent win rate. So that says all Riot needs to do is a few tiny tweaks like they have done in the past.

Targon might seem strong as a snowball archtype but it is absolutely powerless against high tempo plays.
Not aggro mind you they can heal past aggro just fine or chump block, I'm talking Tempo.
Like warning shot for 0 into double monkey, into idol for more monkeys, into petty officer into a fully leveled champ
There is no counter play for Targon even if they kill the idol with removal they splashed from other regions

You are thinking well they hit war chefs, and Ezreal, but those cards were never the issue.

Got a full playset of Trundle and Diana now and have been playing around with them in various lists.
Noticing that Trundle Tyndamere lists are starting to pick up in popularity thanks to their synergy with warmothers call
Dianna seems to like frostbite quite a bit if you want to try here in something other than day and night, or Nocturne aggro.
Next champions I will be taking on are Leonna and Taric so look forward to that.

I'm not beholden to any of you, I offer a free service giving you informative meta updates you can take it or leave it.
The reality is TF Swain is undoubtedly the best deck in the game, and any other list with Sejuani, TF, or Gangplank does just about as well.
Bilgewater is great, and It is absolutely dominating the tier lists of both the pro player variety, and mobalytics.
So all your butt hurt I spent money on this so waaah it has to be good...I just don't have time for it.
