More strong tech cards for Reno/Control vs Combo/Infinity (especially in Wild). At that point one can choose the direction of teching (either Aggro or Combo), while still being unable to optimally tech against both with the same list.
Agree about Odd Paladin. Maybe because I tend to play Tempo decks, but it doesn't feel unbeatable as the report suggests.
I guess it is the opposite with QMage: you see it capable of miraculously win nearly any matchup, but I guess the meta overall is more punishing than it seems (which is a good thing btw: as much as QMage is one of my preferred decks ever I wouldn't want it to be so powerful as to cancerize the meta).
Quest Mage rises in popularity and becomes another meta-definer (killing the Control side of the spectrum, as if BP wasn't enough). Yet its popularity rises on the very top only at Legend, where the meta is actually not as competitive as it is in previous ranks.
Also, about the age-old rethoric about "Priests in Wild are forced to Big Priest as the only decent deck for the Class, and that's why BP is so popular", well, there's the counter-proof:
My suggestion would be to put such a link under the "Decks" drop down menu.
I'd rather the admins put it under our profile name drop down menu, so that things could be visually better and well-structured.
Btw I don't know how much effort you put in finding your decks - if you just click on your user name, you will access your profile page, where you would see a link to your decks.
Agree about having a new voice under the username, directly linking to "My Decks".
To me, it makes no sense to have my own stuff under the generic "decks" page, but I admit that clicking on my own username was an action I performed just because I had no other option to try (maybe because I am still used to HP interface, but I still like to have a direct link to my content, ie decks, without going through my profile page).
Btw, the mobile version of the profile page is dis-aligned, at least I see it that way. I can still use it, but links visually overlap with each other.
Btw, it is just a choice to define overkill binding it simply to "during your own turn". Tbh, it doesn't even make sense in a non-synchronic game. To me, it sounds like the classic case of a flaw/bug turned into a "feature".
They could simply restrict it to "when the minion actively attacks", and the issue is fixed with no direct nerf necessary.
The fact that the archetypes i want to build/customize/play are not bound to Rotation restrictions.
Surely the meta is still an overarching selective factor, but at least i can adjust for that in some way, while if i am deprived of some given key cards for an archetype, i can't play that archetype at all.
In other words, i can stand the judgement of the meta, but i can't stand the devs deciding which decks are available.
Also, the fact that a dust investment stays forever, without shrinking to 1/4 of its original value.
I fail to see how this card can be actually good.
More murlocs, ok, but random, how are you abusing the tribe in Standard?
In Wild there are better choices already, no room for such a card in a deck.
Mecha'thun Rogue incoming.
For Wild too, which is meaningful if they will ever nerf BP and QMage.
I'm not sure these kind of extremely taunted reveals actually appeal the public...
I mean, if i'm interested in reveals, i follow a proper website such as OOC.
If i follow OOC i have the full timetable so why bother for a partial reveal that means near to nothing?
Just for daydreaming? Not sure...
Too unreliable to put any Combo effort on this thing.
Also, why epic?
A fair Standard card.
Such effect at (6) can only be in a Standard meta. Maybe even good there in some slow Midrange Druid.
Too slow for Wild, even considering choose one synergy, and Lucentbark is not a valid argument there.
Extremely interesting cards here, even from a Wild persoective.
Told ya. B-)
I hope for a versatile card like Kazakus, more than old Reno (who is a boring card).
Battlecry: choose and cast a spell between Polymorph Flamestrike Greater Arcane Missiles.
That would have been acceptable, and more creative than this thing.
Anyway, i'm fairly sure there will be one more Highlander card in the set. A Neutral one, and good enough to justify Highlander decks in Standard.
Reno is Awful.
The others are interesting.
Potentially viable for Standard. Maybe not immediately tho.
Niche in Wild, too slow.

I find the fall of Aggro Druid to be the greatest bummer of this report, I didn't expect it at all. It felt so consistent after RoS.
Overall, the meta can arguably be described by the relation: Tempo > Aggro > BP/QM ~ Tempo

It's still a turn-10 pseudo-TTK, with tons of cards involved.
Mecha'thun is much more inevitable, and with much less setup.
This card might make me shift from Even to Murloc/Overload Shaman, just to enhance my chances of screwing Big Priest.

Dragon Priest.
