I guess it can be compared to Bittertide Hydra. Marginally useful as finisher in Aggro decks.
Hydra was extremely meta-dependant and often suicidal.
This mech is actually worse against taunt minions, so it probably makes the bad matchups even worse, but it might make the even ones slightly better. Maybe.
The card itself holds huge value, and potentially Tempo swings. This one requires a minion on board, which espionage does not, but it compensates with the fact that the minion is a chosen one, not random.
Either way, this card is bound to card draw, twofolds (draw, and cast on draw), which is unreliable, and itself bound to NOT milling your own cards (ie Myra's Unstable Element for those who were thinking about Combo/OTK).
Overall, I don't see this card being played in the meta higher than t3, beyond refinement phase. Even if the meta proves to be slow enough, Conjurer Mage will just be much better.
I also think BP won't use this. The decklist is already extremely tight, and the card can only improve the already favourable matchups, but not the unfavourable ones: you do not have enough mana to topple your first summoned minion with this card, and a full resurrect is just better.
But Miracle Priest may find a place for this. Improving the stickiness of Radiant Elemental, Wild Pyromancer is often game-winning.
We are not talking of decks capable of cancerizing the population (ie BP), nor of god tier decks.
Let me also point out that we are talking about two neutral cards: nerfing Baku means nerfing Odd Paladin AND Odd Rogue. Two different archetypes (token vs tempo) nerfed TOGETHER. Which is complete nonsense.
How is Even Shaman more hateful than Murloc Shaman, or Odd Rogue worse to face than Mech Hunter?
Finally, repetitiveness is a silly snowflake argument, especially in Wild.
This thing is bad statted, but it has the perk of shining against Reborn/Token, which is likely to be a thing in the incoming meta (sticky minions are always powerful).
Put it in a Beast Hunter, and what you get is a solid anti-meta card in an already solid archetype.
Reveal assignments should be confirmed by streamers before becoming public...
And if/when confirmed the streamer is bound to reveal it no matter what and call it a day.
All this drama about Toast is bad for both Toast and the community.
Now, this is interesting design.

Academic Espionage for comparison purposes.

however, keep in mind that Myra's Unstable Element burns cards drawn past full hand.
As far as I can see, this card is a huge value generator, or even a Tempo swing, but unreliable, especially for combo purposes.
Cute catto.
I wish it added Deathrattle instead tho...

I like the theme, somehow reminds of Stargate.
I completely dislike the mechanic, as taunt is boring when used en masse (as opposed to strategical taunt, which is very cool).
Hopefully Taunt Warrior won't survive Wild meta, despite all this support.
Miracle Priest likes this card.
Including its Wild counterpart with Radiant Elemental.

Isn't Anka'thun just easier to pull, and flawless about OTK?

Fair card in a token/Reborn meta.
Could also find further synergy with Beasts.
Should have costed (3) for some serious Silence synergy.
Or have taunt.
As it is, just a pack filler.
Interesting card, but as a legendary, it can't carry an archetype on its own.
I mean, a Reborn Priest would still need much more than this + Reborn cards.
On the other hand, it is nice support for an already existing (but weak) Inner Fire Priest.
Repetitive taunt is boring.
Combo is the new Tempo.
I hear the call of the Miracle.
Totem Shaman hype.
These cards are pretty sick.
Possibly for Wild too.
