As long as Big archetype is viable, no other archetype will ever contest its dominance within the Priest and meta population.
BP is just too broken not to play it. I mean, it's not just its meta power (barely t2), it is exactly its brokenness that makes it extremely appealing: it's the pleasure of sh1tting in your opponent's face, regardless of the norms of the game (= a meme), and still win 1 of 2 games (= a meta deck).
And they should have learned by now that a Meme Meta Deck is a toxic paradox to keep in existance
No matter if a more efficient Priest deck ever exists (which should also compete against other t1 decks, in order to be decently appealing, and it's not easy), as long as BP is viable, it will dominate and warp the whole Wild population.
BP needs to be nuked to t4 (and it would still be an incredibly popular deck), either with a massive mana nerf on several cards AND/OR a complete rework of the broken Graveyard mechanics.
Then, and only then, other Priest will naturally emerge and develop (probably starting from Dragon Priest).
If I had 1600+ dust available, the smart craft for the archetype would probably be Ayaya, but I'm not sure I could resist some Storm Bringer memes myself.
I own aya, but i still prefer Fire Elemental in her place.
I am not a fan of Shaman as a class, but Even Shaman is indeed the deck that best fits my abilities and my style in the game: Even Shaman is the perfect Jack of all Trades, fair chances against nearly any opponent.
So at the end of the day, Even Shaman is one of my favourite decks ever, and my main climbing deck.
I am just just unsure about crafting The Storm Bringer, it sounds tons of fun after the buff...
Before that, only Tempo swings should be allowed (ie bodies with efficient stats/effects), but NEVER deviations from the mana curve (ie summoning stuff from much higher in the mana curve, eg Big Priest, but also Voidcaller).
If those rules were strictly applied when designing new cards, Wild could hardly ever get broken again. Powerful but not broken.
Well, it's understandable, if you get in their shoes. They are bleeding because of this split.
Tbh, i don't think OOC needs advertising on HP. Everybody there knows of OOC by now, at least regular users, and advertising there is unfair, if you think about their situation there (of which they cannot be judged responsible).
Best thing for whoever prefers OOC is just leaving HP alone, and produce traffic and content here instead.
And if one means to use both sites for the time being, it's pointless to generate harm on one of them.
Indeed, i encountered this deck (or a very similar one) and with recent buffs it is now a fairly solid Midrange deck, able fend-off against nearly any opponent.
Not really salty, but i just wanted to share my new perversion:
Reaching target rank floor in Wild (r5), and then enjoy conceding against ANY Priest i encounter, without even waiting for mulligan (because they are 90% Big Priest anyway).
They might enjoy the free win, but they won't have the satisfaction of sh1tting all over the board with their broken cards. That's a tiny but meaningful satisfaction to me.
And i lose nothing in the process (maybe 1 star, and the loading time, but i don't care). And i spare myself some real salt.
Concede when you are fairly sure you're out of steam, compared with the opponent's estimated resources.
Don't give up hope too early ofc, stop for a second and rationally sum up what's left for you to play, believe in your deck as much as possible, but spare yourself some brain when against a clearly desperate case, and use it in your next, hopefully more favorable, game.
Accept the cruel justice of RNGesus, have faith in it, and move on.
I don't like them at all as Hero Characters, they are exceedingly silly and cartoonish to be called "Heroes". And even the few of them that aren't (Warrior, Priest, Warlock), are yet not really appealing to me.
But who am i to trample over your dreams?
So while dreaming, let me express my wish to see one of the Enemies, Haro Setting-Sun (Tauren Shadow Priest, as in my profile pic) as the next Priest Hero. That would be so cool...
Yep, this site definitely needs more referencial power, and i second the feeling of uneasiness about the name for googling purposes, but i guess the team has a plan about it.
Also, as i wrote in another thread, it could be smart to pair up with another website (Vicious Syndicate?) for reciprocal references, links and synergies (ie i first found HP through the related wiki).

It's proportionate to my hate for Anduin and all the Necromancy/Resurrection/Madness spells thrown into Priest. :p
Instead, my idea of Shadow Priest is something tuned around cards like Shadow VisionsSeance.
Haro, as a Tauren, would include and fix all that stuff into an innovative character.
Not a Hero, but definitely Haro Setting-Sun.
A Shadow Priest that is not a crazy mad undead, but a wise Tauren instead. So cool!
"Keeping an eye on Big Priest" is officially a meme. A bad one.
Please make Haro Setting-Sun the new Priest Hero!
So i am not alone in this.
It's ok to have mechs in the game, but they can't be all over the place.
Let's make Classes Flavor great again!
(0) mana is still a strategical asset in this game.

In my list, TSB would replace Ragnaros/TLK.

Imo, 8+.

No wonder Pavel chooses a deck with randomly generated spells. :P
To me it's the opposite: this site >>> that site (and I almost feel sorry for the new team there).
Welcome to the real world, where subjective opinions and choices exist. :)
Btw, this article already has about 3/4 of the number of replies on the dual article of the new admin on HP.
It suggests our activity is already catching up with the old website.
They still have inertia on their side, but the sense of decay is also looming upon them.

Let's hope the Masters live out the expectations!
Ragnaros the Firelord
Card that deals damage at the end of turn.
