  • Solid card for the body at least, but not as OP as it seems.

It's a highly conditional Combo afterall.

  • As I found pointed out elsewhere, the new Priest/Warlock cards fit Evenlock pretty well.

And I wonder if the archetype could actually be revived already in Wild, maybe with a focus on healing and taunt.

  • VERY strong.

    But disgusting character...

  • Comparable to Houndmaster Shaw.

Not the same thing ofc, but very similar, as one provides initiative while the other provides stats: both aim for board dominance, and they do it at the same cost for the same body.

  • I see no reason to play this card in current Wild Discolock, as it is terrible when you can't Discard it (0/2 do nothing and that needs board clear to trigger).

Maybe with further synergy and/or a transition towards Grim Rally

Not sure about Standard either, as the tokens can be easily pinged away, maybe in Galakrond.

  • Strong card.

Lazy design. Which is exactly what I hoped NOT to see in bi-class cards.

Also, this is just a dull skeletal spellcaster.

    Where are my spooky ghosts?!?

  • Good (6) minion destroyer.

Not particularly flavourful tho, especially as a bi-class card. It's just a dull skeletal spellcaster that could have fit either class with no effort...

  • Huge card.

DH already has a series of Control tools, and this one provides a swing for lategame.

3 for (7) is not much, but large boards don't easily go beyond that.

  • Interesting card, but that's it.

Stealth and DR Rogue need more Tempo than this.

Was thinking the same thing - but of course you can't compare cards from different classes.

Yeah, true that, but (3) for 4 is pretty poor in general.

This one has a good upside that makes the card infinitely better, yet I'm not sure we're going to see this card as a 2x in meta decks.

  • Decent, but you're not gonna build a deck around her.

More like a fitting synergy into a future Weapon-based deck.

  • Good enough for Standard Highlander Mage, but I can't see it included elsewhere. (3) for 4 is still too slow, the versatily of the shape helps a little bit, but not too much.

Just compare to what Dark Skies can do for the same amount of mana.

  • Design is perfectly on point.

However, am I the only one feeling it is a bit dull for a main character?

Anyway, he feels like a Priest Card, mostly, due to Shadow Word spells. I'm sure we'll see him in Priest decks.

Other classes have either spells that can hardly be played in the same turn, or spells that tend to kill KT as well.

He isn't defensive enough or too slow for Big Shaman Reincarnate or Conjurer's Calling or other shenanigans with other friendly minions and self-killing spells.

He can act as soft taunt tho, similarly to Archmage Vargoth.

  • Now that we're at it, I'm surely gonna enjoy it.

But the long wait was... Too long. 2-3 long weeks wasted with too few new cards to theorycraft with.

I prefer having few cards incoming regularly 1 month before release, for theorycraft purposes during the latest stages of an expansion, when there's no more room for homebrewing with known cards.

Or no reveals at all for meta madness (possibly paired with an Old God expansion).

  • [Hearthstone Card (Shadowbolt) Not Found] cries in a corner.

Decent card, but Mage spells are quite competitive for deck slots...

  • The reveal comes from 2030 I believe.

The card is strong, but not overwhelmingly so, as it is meta-dependant. It looks like a Priest card in disguise to me.

  • I usually like Kripp's insights, but his last reveal stream was awful, he was not really showing and discussing the cards as he should have.

I hope he will make a better one this time.

  • I think that Druid deck deserves to be called "Breath of Murlocs" as per banner image.

  • I'd be okay with that. :p

Anyway, not necessarily. Warlocks have a dominant Demonic trait, which no 'Spooky Mage' would include (eg. Mage cards from Witchwood).

  • Hopefully, that Soul Magic on Warlocks leads to Haunting Spirits and Ghosts.

On the other hand, I would add Deathrattle synergy to a Mage/Shaman candidate, also because Kel'Thuzad used to be an archmage.

I'd really like a spooky twist on Mage.
