  • You’re not wrong!  On one hand, she was responding to a funny Tweet.  But maybe along with the laughing add a sentence or two to be like “Sorry if there was a miscommunication.  SwayBae’s contributions are more to build up anticipation and not actual reveals.”

Like you said, a little professionalism.

  • So they teased a trailer, the trailer came with teasing the teasers on reveals which is just a bunch of nonsense!

If they want to tell stories around cards, just do it in the reveal?!  Just an idea.

  • Are there any shoes being wagered if these speculations are way off?  LOL

  • I am still thinking it could be Whitemane, though my first thought was Prestor.  It's a toss up as the design is basically the same, but the red gem matches Whitemane more than Prestor's purple gem in the middle.

Regardless, given the stories within Book of Mercenaries (spoilers of Tavish's story ahead)

    Show Spoiler
and how the Tavish story had Kazakus raise Dread Lich Tamsin using a Void Naaru they created by corrupting all the Naaru shards, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Scarlet Crusade related.  As mentioned eariler, there is Saidan who seems very out of place.  A powerful Dread Lich has just been ressurrected within Alterac Valley.  And a lot of people have died in AV over the many, MANY years of conflict occuring in this place.  So if someone wanted to quickly raise a large undead army… it's the perfect place to do it.  And whose main purpose is it to eradicate the undead?!  The Scarlet Crusade!

    Boom!!!!

  • This deck gets an upvote from me simply because of the foodie theme carried into the card back!  LOL

  • It literally shows HS Replay stats at 56% win rate.  And one bad match up listed doesn’t equal a bad deck.  Especially when that match up is not a popular one.  I haven’t seen much Spell QL Mage, but I’m also playing Ping Mage in Standard and I tend to beat the QL Mages easy when I do.

  • LtEddy had a walkthrough video for unlocking this if anyone is still looking for a way to get it.  His method can also be used to unlock other card backs too.  Like the Samsung Galaxy card back.

  • Never seen anything like that before.  Are you running any 3rd party software like Deck Trackers, an Arena draft helper, or... whatever else you might run to help with Hearthstone?  You could try disabling and/or removing and reinstalling any third party software first.  If that doesn't fix it, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Another option in the launcher could be to go to the Hearthstone page, down by the Play button is a little gear.  If you click the gear there are some options like "Scan and Repair" which might be able to find if any files are corrupted and need to be reinstalled as well.

its because you revived a post from before the spell schools were added.

I didn't realize that, it was literally in the "Recent Post" list on the main page.

  • They actually are already Holy spells in the game.  The images may not have been updated on the site when spell schools were added.

EDIT: Actually they are updated on the site.  Not sure where you're images came from.  Libram of Hope, Libram of Justice, Libram of Wisdom.

  • Any Rexxar skin where he is correctly dual weilding axes is a good Rexxar skin!

  • I think certain card backs and hero portraits were made available for gold at the start of the Hearthstone year (April 2021).  It would have been discussed in the article regarding the patch update at the time.  If it had a separate article it likely got buried quick with all the other news coming out at the same time

  • Well the Deeprun Tram runs between Stormwind and Ironforge.  They must have wanted to include that references the Tram and this was jut their best idea I guess.

There may not be a lot of mech synergy, or even a ton of mechs in the pool, but that can be useful in some situations.  Hell, didn’t this guy get banned in Arena because of how consistently he would give player’s the new Sneed’s Goliath due to the small mech pool in that card pool?

In short, not every card has to serve a specific purpose in theme with current sets.  Sometimes cards can simply be situational value generators.

  • My head would explode!!!

  • That’s cool!  Seems like recycled content from Book of Mercenaries, but also interesting to see how they transformed a single player encounter into a two player brawl

  • My brain when I saw the article thumbnail: “Why can’t I hold all these Renos?!?”

  • Technically the no minion Spell Hunter archetype was introduced a year prior in Kobolds & Catacombs with Rhok'delar, To My Side!, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, and Flanking Strike being key cards to support the archetype.  But then Rastakhan's Rumble added Zul'jin and Baited Arrow.  Baited gave the deck a little removal that could also provide a tempo swing with the Overkill effect.  It also providing an extra bit of reach since it can go face.  And Zul'jin was great after playing a fully ramped Spellstone and several secrets that he would then replay, he could also replay removal like Crushing Walls.  And the deck still ran Deathstalker Rexxar to generate infinite value with the Zombeasts.  In short, I think it was always kind of missing that final piece until the RR additions.

  • Oh the nostalgia of when Tom went against conventional logic to hold a UI in his opening hand and it won him a World Championship!

  • And you know it's not the Internet if someone doesn't point out every little mistake you might make, as if the person pointing it out never makes mistakes (which in this case is true, I don't)
