I think it's the card art for Treenforcements

I just noticed looking again the additions to the card art.  LOL

Big thank you to Flux and crew for putting out this awesome community site!  I won't say I never visit the old page... because sometimes I do!  Especially if I'm looking for a deck a specific deck list, maybe something a little older not seen much these days to relive some old fun in Wild.  You know, lists that may have been popular before Out of Cards came along.

But I will say this site has been my homepage and the first thing I see when I open my browser since it was reopened as Out of Cards!  And as long as it's online, ads or no ads, it's likely to stay that way.  Looking forward to the additional content for other games as well!

I could see Scion being given the SCG treatment with "summon 2 3/2 copies of this minion" being the new wording.  That or some other wording to make sure it's not copies, but just additional 3/2 rushers.

Kronx was the very first craft I did on day one!  I figured we all got the five Galakrond hero cards free, so I'd be playing around with those archetypes.  And his effect of either drawing the hero card, or unleashing a devastation is something you'd want in any Galakrond build.  Even on my f2p account that lives in poverty I crafted him immediately.

And if you craft him, your next legendary pull won't be a second Kronx since we can't open multiples of the same legendary without owning all legendaries in a set.

I think they are planning on doing regular rotations of new and old skins.  Likely in both individual sales like Sylvanas or bundle packs like Hazelbark.  While some players don't care about cosmetics, some go crazy for them.  And since they now have Battlegrounds mode with a constantly rotating hero pool, they will likely be making more and more portraits for that mode.  Might as well capitalize by making them available as hero skins in constructed too!

One way to beat Quest Priest is to build a board and DON'T attack right away.  Most of the time the Quest Priests don't have any early game other than healing, so if you wait until you can deal a larger amount of damage in a turn you can stall out their plan and rush them down.

ZooLock is one deck that can do this as Invoke effects help build a board quickly.  Then you can use things like Grim Rally and other buffs to build attack power up and start beating them down.  If you craft the Sea Giants that is another way to quickly build a board with high attack power.

Funny thing... according to the HS deck builder algorithm, Toxic Face Hunter is not the best Hunter.

Last night I was looking at what I’m missing that are good cards, crafted both copies of that side quest.  Being lazy I chose auto-complete thinking it’d give me Toxic Hunter.  It gave me straight up Mech Hunter with only a few new cards, like Dragonbane, which I also just recently opened.  Played only a few games with it so far but got from 5 to 4 without a loss!  Spawning Goblin Bombs helps with control matchups because clearing the board does damage, and the Venomizer + Missile Launcher keeps the board clear against aggro.

Been hard to find time to play lately, but the recent Galakrond Warrior list from Meta Breaker 9 article on this site, and now Mech Hunter have been big help on trying to push back up again.

I'm loving this deck!  It can be played for tempo, you can save buffed up Scion's to try and control the board later... Against a Toxic Face Hunter I put a buffed 2/4 Eternium Rover after the hunter summoned his three Leper Gnome from his side quest, and then hit the Rover with Titanic Lackey.  Which effectively negates his Gnomes' deathrattle damage, so he quick on turn 4 or 5!  That example is a bit of RNG, but still.  LOVE this deck!

In a few weeks you might be making a Meta Breaker deck to break this one!  :D

HSReplay's current meta report (the free one, I don't have paid sub so it may still include pre-nerf data) shows the Toxic Face Hunter top of tier 2, then Pirate Warrior... Deathrattle Rogue around mid tier 2 as it often relies on good draw to be strong, but kind of sucks if you get poor draw.

Regardless, I've played 5 games with this deck and I've won them all, climbing from 8 to 6, which is the highest I've pushed in a while (after becoming a dad, hard to find time).  But yeah, I think regardless of what is the top meta deck, this one is GREAT regardless.

Personally, I thought they’d already hit that card by making it so I never draw the card when it’s in my deck..

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a "deck MMR" or something too.  In other words, you build a deck and win a lot of games, the game sees that deck as good.  It then tries to match you up against players with similar MMR that are also playing a deck with a higher winrate.  Hence you were playing Zoolock, doing well, then you get hit with a bunch of Shaman opponents who are also winning a lot.

You build a brand new deck of HW Paladin, the game does not know yet how this deck will perform when you are piloting it.  It matches you up against players that haven't been winning a lot, those Rogue players you mentioned.  So until you show the game that you can win a lot with this deck, you may not see the Shaman onslaught you are targeting.

But honestly, I have no idea.

In other words, if this rambling of mine is even slightly correct: it's an attempt to balance player experiences, not a grand plot against you.

    Quote From AngryShuckie

As a good player you may find yourself 'accidentally' climbing to rank 10. That's OK, but to actually enjoy the game mode try to avoid going any further.

I tend to shoot for Rank 10 in Wild (and Standard really) and from there I just play whatever I feel like.  If I win, great!  If I don't, it's just a game.  If I happen to rank up to 5, sweet!  The only time I really push to climb higher than 10 is if I happen to get close to the Rank 5 floor, then I might try a little harder.

The key to enjoying Wild, or really Hearthstone in general, is to not get too serious about it and just play whatever you want to play, even if it's a low winrate deck that you are trying to meme with.  Like putting a TON of Corrupted Bloods into your opponent's deck and then using Wyrmrest Purifier to turn your Bloods into random class cards in a Memekkar Rogue deck.

So you can either try something different and new, or you can turn to a different game for a little while to get a break from HS if you're that annoyed with it.  The thing I tend to turn to in Wild most often when I am no longer having fun playing the game: any sort of C'Thun deck.  My favorite, which hasn't worked for a while now due to fast decks like Secret Mage, was a C'Thun Druid that used things like Aviana, Kun the Forgotten King, Brann Bronzebeard, and Zola the Gorgon to drop 3x 10+/10+ C'Thuns in a single turn and watch the eyeball missiles rain down as my opponent's watch in horror!  Would be better if Aviana was still 9 mana, but that's what happens when I don't craft her until the nerf... No joke, I did that.  Because I'm dumb...  Still fun though.

TLDR: You can still find fun in the game if you just play silly decks to meme on people.  If you aren't having fun, find something else to do for a while and come back to it.

I just assumed these ads were showing up because they only wanted ads that loaded quickly and didn't bog down the site.  Hence why these low brow, and maybe even propaganda type of ads you're talking about are showing up, because they put out low cost and low quality ads.  But I must admit I hadn't paid attention to the publisher or provider of the ads, or even the content most of the time.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing some higher quality ads from better advertisers popping up instead of these ads that are mostly text.  First, because the low quality ads actually make the site look cheap and low quality to me.  Second, OoC would likely get more revenue from having better ads on their site.

Last thing I'll add, I used to work in digital advertising for a large publisher, and if the site doesn't have enough established traffic, or if a publisher or ad serving platform does not yet know what the audience for the site is, that could also be a reason for seeing these types of ads right now.  Because higher profile advertisers usually have layers of targeting data added to their ad campaigns, unless they are buying out specific ad space on a particular website.  While again, if someone is spreading propaganda might just throw their ad anywhere they can get it.

I did see a really nice Best Buy ad on this very forums page though as I'm typing this response, so maybe things will be changing soon if my last point is actually why we're seeing these ads you're referring to and we'll start seeing more mainstream ad placements.

The Shaman decks also lose to Zoolocks.  The Invoke cards having the ol' Odd Paladin effect in Warlock generating two 1/1 imps can help push damage quick.  I haven't played a lot of Zoolock just yet, but I've beat every Shaman I faced with the deck.  Doesn't mean Shaman doesn't need balance, but it's another option if you're finding nothing but Shaman opponents.

Tempted to double preorder this exp.  have the 100 bundle already.  And about 70 packs worth of gold, and free packs.  All together that’s going to be over 180 packs in first week...  Do I really need another 60?

I could do that and then spend a portion of my gold on Wild packs... which is weird saying.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some old portraits from previous bundles hit the shop at some point.  Like Mecha-Jaraxxus, or even Sir Annoy-O.

So why aren’t ALL Echo cards being given a full dust refund if this effects them all?

I get most other classes can’t make an infinite chain, but even Unstable Evolution can occasionally hit a [Hearthstone Card (sorceror’s apprentice) Not Found] or a Radiant Elemental for a huge evolve chain!

Maybe a change to Mechwarper’s cost reduction would have been better, similar to Summoning Portal not going below 1 mana.

Am I the only one who saw this card and immediately in my head heard Ben Brode Jr saying "Purifier... PURIFY!!!"
    ???
