It's a pretty neat effect. Instead of putting Arch-Thief Rafaam in the deck you can play this plus Plot Twist to try and get an extra boost of a few random legendaries instead of turning the entire remaining deck into random legendaries.
Still obviously a very random effect for memes, but not too bad!
Regardless of how good or bad this card is, I love the “secretly discover a deathrattle” mechanic. I think it’s only been seen as a Druid mechanic on a choose one card that didn’t see much play. But I think it’s pretty cool and should be used more
Slightly different than Vilespine as it’s a legendary minion and the effect is not quite the same. If you use it on an enemy minion, but it’s a minion in your deck too, you lose one or two minions also. Since it says “wherever” I assume it means both decks, hands, and boards!
If Highlander decks are big next expansion, you could run this in Highlander Rogue still. Either as a removal option with a body, or you could play Zephrys and then play this on your Zephrys to remove your opponent’s copy if they are Highlander.
He's also said he came back to HS because of this mode after only playing in the early days, and he's a caster from Heroes of the Storm (which means he's unemployed...) so Blizzard probably just wanted to use his talent as a caster, which he is obviously good at it after watching for a while. That along with Frodan constantly reminding us how Amaz, Dog, Hafu, etc are all returning to HS because of Battlegrounds... it's almost like a low key tactic to try and get any players watching who quit HS to come back.
Who is this caster with Frodan, and why would they pick a caster who doesn't play the game, and also doesn't know who the players are or how to pronounce their names correctly. But you know... Go, Doombringers. Strong start with that 1 pt after first round...
Funny thing... I was bored and decided to play an Auto Completed Paladin deck... it gave me this deck. This EXACT deck is what the game suggested I play as the best Paladin deck right now. And in my handful of games with it so far I haven't lost yet, and I've faced some top level decks like Evolve Shaman and Secret Highlander Paladin.
Mostly 60g, some 50g which often seem to reroll into 60g, and I've gotten one 80g challenge on my main as well as an alt account since the change, and a few of the pack rewards for playing solo content.
Overall it's been very nice, especially since I have two alt accounts, so the "play 3" quests make it super easy to clear my quest queue for those.
Nevermind, you already did. Shocking they weren't helpful. Don't know if this is one of the things you tried, but perhaps you can try uninstalling HS and then reinstalling to see if that fixes the issue.
Hero Power: Each player is given a “Ready” button they can click if they are done with all actions of their recruit phase. If all players have clicked this button, time skip to Combat phase.
Okay... not a great hero, but would be a great feature!
True, but this mode could be easier for them to try and balance often. If a card, or a few cards, are pushing one strategy too far in front of all other, they can either change the tier so it can’t snowball too early, alter stats/effect quickly if it’s not a collectable, or just remove it from this mode and swap in a similar but less powerful collectable card.
Only time will tell what their balance strategies/timeframes look like.
Wait. How would Scaled Nightmare work, since after each battle, your minions reset?
I didn't know there were upgraded cards either. Are those just rarer versions of the normal cards?
All your cards except for the Classic ones also have the wrong watermark. Not your fault though. It's a weird HearthCards glitch where importing an existing card into their database gives it the watermark of the set after that card instead of the one for its own set.
EDIT: Now that I'm looking at the fact that Micro Machine and Rockpool Hunter are in Battlegrounds, I guess enchantments carry over, so in this case, this works fine. Me big dum dum head.
I haven't payed attention, but do you know if Micro gains attack at the start of the combat phase? And does that carry over or do they only keep the buffs from Recruit phase?

It’s like Possessed Lackey, but less randomness and it’s a battlecry.
And Lackey was good enough to warrant a nerf. So... I like it!!!
Even with 6 cards in hand, 5 after playing this, doesn’t seem too bad. Better obviously with bigger hand sizes.

Hot Air Baloon = Reverse Micro Machine
This card is bringing Dragon Paladin “back from the junk heap!”
Claw
Seeing as some people will get more than 1 pack based on the team they chose, maybe wait until AFTER the event is over. Maybe even a few days after...

Not sure, could just be that they haven't announced a reveal stream date/time yet.

I get the feeling they just threw this tournament together to fill the gap between BlizzCon and the next GM season.
I’m doing Into the Fray, Frightened Flunky, and Dragon Roar.
Really fun against Freeze Mages with Mana Wyrm, not so much against IF Priests.
Along with others I have a locked in 4 card deck, can’t retire it, AND it shows the rewards chest open. I never got any rewards!
While you wait to see if anyone here experienced this as well, might want to still drop a note in the Blizzard forums.
