I tried my goofy meme Transmogrifier + Plot Twist Warlock deck and - hold onto your hats - a handful of random, unrelated Legendaries is not in fact actually good. The "combo" isn't all that hard to pull off though and definitely faster than just using Arch-Villain Rafaam.
Galakrond Rogue has been okay - I've had some tough matches with really bad draws so a little early to really say. the ability to get multiple uses from Kronx Dragonhoof with all the bounce/double battlecry stuff in Rogue is definitely a strong play.
Dragon Paladin (Highlander or otherwise) is, as many expected, incredibly strong.
I honestly thought Dragon Pally was going to be weak tbh. Does it have a win condition or does it just beat you to death with big bodies?
Titles says it all, share your first impressions with the decks you got.
I tried Treant Druid. It honestly looks incredibly solid, although not insane. The main problem is still card draw but Aeroponics is a good foundation. Currently trying Cult Master, but maybe Overflow is the way to go. Goru is actually just great, he does so much for your lategame pressure. Also a deck for Keeper Stalladris finally.
Galakrond Priest seems....weird. The lack of card draw makes running any combos kind of moot (although I still think going Wretched Reclaimer + Grave Rune with the added discount from Fate Weaver is the best idea). The Hero power is just pretty crazy late game as it turns you into basically Deathstalker Rexxar except your deck is loaded with removal. Healing is a bit of an issue, but Sandhoof Waterbearers or Khartut could help (with the aforementioned Wretched Reclaimer and Grave Rune combo)
Sad to say Desert Obelisk is not an unbeatable win conditions, you all must be heartbroken.
Galakrond Warrior is really weird. I treid going control with big taunts, which isn't bad, but the Galakrond turn itself is impossibly slow. He's practically unplayable before fully upgrading because you need the claw to at least get some kind of tempo. If you do play him and live however, he's crazy good. Most decks can't deal with 7/10 Tomb Wardens or even just a 5/6 Eternium Rover. Maybe going tempo galakrond is better and just try to get some chargers from the battlecry to finish your opponent next turn.
Played against one Pirate Warrior, thought I beat him, but the weapon spam (and my lack of non-face removal) eventually got me killed. Still not convinced about that deck, it seems incredibly draw dependant and if you don't get a crazy Skybarge turn you basically rely on being able to sm0rc your opponent down with weapons and Leeroy.
Anyways, share your stories so we can all get a better picture of what'S going on out there.
that's pretty huge actually. Not big enough to make Questing worth running in any deck with sidequests, but a huge boost for any quest deck that also runs sidequests (like Quest Hunter)
i honestly still don't get why people hate the picture so much. At best his nose seems a bit off, but other than that it's just a picture of him focussing on taking the shot.
Then again, some people also really like the Jaina portrait despite her weird forhead and her nerfed chest.
I know I shouldn't be disappointed because it's basically the average of 1 legendary every 20 packs, but it does feel kinda meh.
That said at least I got most relevant epics (and most irrelevant ones as well) and only miss a few rares (and Whispers of EVIL for some reason. You'd think you'd find all commons in 103 packs)
At the end of the day I'm not really upset, because I can basically play all Galakrond decks without having to craft any more cards for now and I get to try treant Druid right away.
instructions unclear. Crafted Dragon-Gonk Druid immediately. I will make sure to run double Platebreaker and double Kobold Stickyfinger so I'm prepared to face every deck in the meta.

fair enough, but I don't really feel comfortable with a deck that basically only ends up working because the buildaround cards are just so overpowered that you can't afford to not run them...which is basically the case with Pure Paladin. It doesn't have a new gameplan, it just kind plays aggro with a bunch of overstatted minions.
I hope that, if anything, future support makes it more distinct.

103 packs
5 legendaries (Kronx, Ysera, Bandersmosh, Goru, Chenvaala)

it's Chadxxar and he will shove his bow up your ass if you keep disrespecting him like that
Kronx in the actual first pack.
Guess I'm playing Galakrond decks to start.
God I am extremely tempted to get that Sylvanas even though I just got my 1000 wins Hunter.
Maybe later down the line if I'm not totally depressed with the meta.
Or you can just do it in Standard with Tundra Rhino, Scarlet Webweaver and Hunting Party
watcha gonna do about it, Raptorboy?
I feel like they wouldn't just make 35 new cards only to be used in an Adventure...and if they did they'd specify that in the announcement.
It looks like they're trying to find new ways to shake up the mid-expansion meta (much like Doom in the Tomb did for Uldum)

uh, you really don't want to run Loti in your Witching Hour combo
Also, you could try to run an Elise combo with Floop where you play Gonk, and then double Floop into quadra Pounce + 2 Claws for 10 attack damage
it won't because mech paladin is just simply better. You don't need to wait for a 7-drop when you can just zerg down your opponent by turn 4
they're already in the client, you can just check out the deck recipes
I feel like any deck that runs two tribes benefits massively from Nightmare Amalgam...especially MAge right now
I can't believe you missed the most overpowered synergy of the entire set:
Fate Weaver into Desert Obelisk + Grave Rune + Wretched Reclaimer. With double Fate Weaver you can even have 5 Obelisks at once.
Clearly the future powerhouse of the Priest class, don't @ me.
can't say I've noticed, buy I'm also notoriously terrible with punctuation
I figured you would get a kick from having an exclusive title that only 20 other people have.
