Seems overpriced tbh. Spellproof isn't really that relevant these days, targetted damage-based removal is a rare sight.
Question number two: Why put this in Big Spell Mage? You're already not trying to play your spells for the intended cost and this is just worse then Amulet or Rune in most cases.
The only mildly interesting thing is the Arcane tag because of Dawngrasp but I'm not sure that's enough to justify it.
Assuming there's going to be something more interesting then Arcane Shot to go with these. Either way, the current state of Spell hunter is defined by Quest and that is unlikely to change, even if the Quest is worse now.
Unless we get a massive payoff legendary I doubt this'll be relevant before next year.
Worse Emerald Spellstone at face value and excludes Jace (although he leaves next year anyways):
Might be something there, but I honestly doubt it in the current climate. Maybe if you run two key payoff cards (like Jace and Xy'mox) and run Abyssal Depths as a tutor to get them out of the way
If triple Blood is viable this will be the core reason to run it. 50 total health combined with all the healing they're probably getting access too could make it king at outlasting just about every damage based strategy. The real question is if it has a win condition of its own.
Well, Frost is clearly the aggro/burn Rune. Would make sense to have a card that prevents your opponent from just outhealing you, especially since DK seems to be all about Chip damage instead of burst combos.
Seems weak. IT's just Man the Cannons, but more expensive and with a Freeze on the enemy you deal the most damage to (which makes the Freeze effect less relevant early on)
I guess Frost aggro is a thing. Seems a bit too weak though, on average it'S only going to be a 2/2 and even if you highroll and get like a 4/2 it's probably dead before it connects face. 2-health just isn't enough for something like this.
I wonder if Frostmourne could actually be really good in Blood DK. You're an uber-control deck with massive survivability and you can turn your opponents threats against them.
Then again, it does play right into Insatiable Devourer....
I'm not a BG player but I really REALLY hate when you pay for something and then still have to "earn" it through playing, just so it creates a forced sense of "investment". Granted, this is fairly reasonable for anyone who's actually dedicated to BGs, but I still don't like the direction
This just feels terribly uninspired. I'm hoping for some really sick Arcane payoff or else this is just filler.

Strong if you can get enough 1-mana Undead in your deck. If not then it's still good but probably not deck defining.

Could be good, but judging from experience, cards that require your minions to die while they are on the board are rarely as strong as the look.
Feast of Souls never saw play and that thing only cost 1-mana.

Probably rather strong in practice given that it needs two Blood runes. Ultimately it comes down to how easily DK can rack up corpses.

Comparable to Cold Case could be a good aggro card, but perhaps it's too slow. Good Corpse generator at least
Depending on the meta this could be straight up broken. In most situations it's just a vanilla minion though.

Very solid aggro card and might even be good enough for other decks if they value chip damage

You know.....I never thought I would regret dusting all my extra Ice Revenants. I guess everything can be broken these days.

Great way to make the game more approachable for new players.
I still refuse to believe they would actually release DK in the last expansion of the year.
