Hello everyone!

MY name is Anomaly and I usually create my decks over at hearthpwn under the name Anomaly98. This is my first deck on this website that I have been increasingly intrigued by.

This is the bare bones list of what I thought about while making this deck. I will be updating and making changes as I hear your feedback and get a look at the rest of the set and try to guess what the meta will be like.

First thing you might say is Archwitch Willow has anti-synergy with Jaraxxus and Sathrovarr. For this reason I will likely end up cutting either Jaraxxus or Willow in my final version even though summoning  a 3/15 body isn't even that bad is it?

The point behind Sathrovarr is using it with the prime to shuffle atleast 4 coples of Kanrethad Prime into the deck. This is for value purposes as the deck currently does not have much resource generation besides Twisted Knowledge. However, Sathrovarr might end up being too greedy based on the meta but my belief is that with the plethora of early board clears available to the deck followed up by huge midgame demonic taunts, this deck can get away with running this combo.

Some people on Hearthpwn have questioned the omission of Flesh Giant, and I will say the only reason I didn't had it is because it is not a demon. I have thought about cutting valdris and trying out one Giant or maybe something like another dark skies if the meta is faster than I expect.

Vectus is my own unique flavor in the deck as the deathrattles are VERY limited in the deck intentionally and all 3 of them are impactful. More Primes? seems good, 5/5 lifesteal is great too. Bad Luck Albatross is there for the on curve consistency of the deck as it is the only 4 drop but also because I expect to see a lot more Pure Paladin, and the continuation of highlander decks. Also, the new mechanic with Polkelt and reshuffling your deck is very easily dissipated with this one card that can also come back from Vectus.

EDIT: Removing Valdris Felgorge and adding a Flesh Giant

Hope you guys enjoy the deck and I will be updating it everytime I make a change of significance.

While I like the idea of the deck, I have a few things which I think make it weaker than it could be.

    1. Too many singletons. This decreases the consistency of the deck. It might be worth it if you want to play Zephrys and DQA, but they aren't even in the deck.
    2. Betrug without Plot Twist. An 8 mana 5/7 simply isn't worth it if you only cheat out 1 minion with it at the most, especially considering there are only like 3 cards in the deck with real synergy with it (Deathrattles).
    3. Jaraxxus is simply too slow in the current meta.
    4. Sathrovarr is just too slow, since you can't combo it with anything in the same turn in this deck. He would make more sense in a Quest Warlock deck.
    5. Spirit Jailer has very bad anti-synergy with Archwitch Willow. One of the two has to go. If you want to play a small demon, Mo'Arg Artificer is way more important to a control warlock gameplan than Spirit Jailer.
    6. Weird tech cards. Bad Luck Albatross, Acidic Swamp Ooze and Twisted Knowledge may all have their place in a control warlock list, but not in the same one. You'd put one of those in to improve a specific match-up in the meta.
    7. Imprisoned Scrap Imp is not worth it in a deck consisting of mostly good minions. You'd want it with tons of small minions, since a 1/1 going to 3/2 is a way bigger improvement than a 4/6 going to 6/7.

Using the points above, I made the following decklist:

This uses your deck as a basis, but makes it more consistent, removes some weird card choices and adds a dragon package for both survival and better Vectus target in Plagued Protodrake.
