Deathrattles & Dragons Quest Hunter

I'm still not sold on Ogremancer, but Quest Hunter is one of those archetypes that can be bullied by hyperaggressive decks, and having Taunts can come in handy. A lot of decks also run a bunch of spells, so if you manage to get an extra minion off of Ogremancer, that's a pretty good two-for-one deal! (Get it? Because they're two headed ogres? ... Okay, I'll stop.) This is just my long winded way of saying Ogremancer probably won't be up to par, but I'm too stubborn to just give up on it. I mean, come on! How could I pass up an army of Risen Skeletons?! Adding another Big Ol' Whelp to the deck in place of Ogremancer would be better for consistency though. The chonker is also a viable choice if you're missing Ace Hunter Kreen.
Admittedly, the Dragons & Deathrattles aren't the most consistent either when you put them together, but I'm just not the type of person to play orthodox decks. I always like to put my own spin on things and try unconventional means no matter how unpopular or "out there" they might seem. I will admit, however, that a lot of inspiration for this deck came from Dekkster's Dragon Quest Hunter, and he was totally right about Onyxia in addition to Big Ol' Whelp being better in the deck, but I still wanted to try it out; I like figuring out what works and what doesn't. For example, a lot of decks run two Unleash the Hounds, but from experience, it ends up being a dead card a lot of the time when I'm up against decks that are heavily control-oriented or which don't play that many minions; its winrate percentages seem to indicate that as well, so I just run one as a finisher or as removal with Veranus.
Anyway, if you do want to play a more consistent Quest Hunter deck, LoganJ has a pretty fantastic one that I'll be including down below. If you want to try something a bit different, consider trying out this deck, but don't be afraid to try new things and figure out what works best for you!
