A list based on some theorycrafting I've done in the past. The goal is to maintain tempo against aggro and exhaust resources against control, both aiming to buy you time for a combo finish with Kurtrus, Demon-Render, Expendable Performers, and Felfire Deadeye.
Glide, Soul Fragments, and Ambassador Faelin/Azsharan Defector help significantly to complete the quest without exhausting your entire deck. Previous versions of this deck burned through the deck too quickly and left minimal impact along the way, so this design aims to deplete the deck as little as possible. That said, Final Showdown's biggest reward is the repeated cost reduction, more so than the 5-mana 7/7 with its mediocre battlecry.
