We've got a brand new event in Hearthstone's Mercenaries game mode and it's here only for a limited-time! This time, we'll venture into many dangerous Bounty zones with the aid of Yogg-Saron, fan favorite for its Constructed shenanigans and the third Old God that has come to pay us a visit.

Our journey won't be in search of just fame and success, but you'll be able to complete a set of 10 event Tasks, which will reward you coins for Yogg-Saron and many other goodies.

Here are all the tasks that are available during the Yogg-Saron Mercenaries event. Click any of the links below to visit our guide for the task.

As you can see, these tasks are quite the mixed bag: while some are fairly simple to complete, others require more than a bit of thinking (and luck: that one's always welcome) and planning ahead.

Moreover, certain tasks clearly state that you need Comps consisting of Mercenaries belonging to specific races in order for your progresses to count: while the Y'Shaarj event was about Humans and Pirates, this time you'll need the help of Naga and Night Elves!

Not all challenges might be as difficult as they seem at a glance: there are usually tips and tricks to be found to make everyone's lives easier. In this series of guides we'll take a look at how to complete each event Task, so that you'll be able to get your hands on all the rewards available. As of now, we'll focus our attention on the current task.

How to Complete the "Scuba Diving" Task from the Yogg-Saron Event

    • Requirement: Complete Heroic Coral Elemental Bounty with at least 3 Naga in The Sunken City.
    • Game Mode: Heroic
    • Rewards: 75 Yogg-Saron coins, 50 Queen Azshara coins.
    • Difficulty: 3/5

Scuba Diving is the last "difficult" task from the Yogg-Saron Mercenaries event, so hang on: we're almost there - just one last push!

As you can see from the picture below, Coral Elemental will appear on the board as a Neutral 2/120, backed up with four 8/100 Piranha Swarmers. Moreover, each enemy unit has an additional ability:

Keep in mind that, differently from any other bounty, the final fight will be a little different every time you start it. In fact, the Swarmers will gain one role at random: sometimes there will be more Fighters, sometimes more Caster, sometimes more Protectors and who knows, maybe a role could be missing!

Even with this variable, the final fight won't change that much. In particular, Coral Elemental will almost always spam Do Not Touch, creating bigger and bigger ways of damage for your friendly units to withstand. It will occasionally cast [Hearthstone Card (Entangling Roots 5) Not Found], but it's not going to be very frequent.

    Coral Elemental's moveset.

The Swarmers, on the other hand, have a melee-focused moveset, with Nom Nom Nom (props for the hilarious name) providing an Attack buff for all Swarmers and a source of damage and [Hearthstone Card (Apex Predator 5) Not Found] for preying on the weaker units.

    Piranha Swarmer's moveset.

With all these information in mind, it is clear that the best approach to the Coral Elemental Heroic bounty is to choose a party with a high damage output, possibly in the form of AoE, so that you'll be able to get rid of all the Swarmers soon and prevent Coral Elemental from snowballing too hard.

On a final note, remember that Scuba Diving requires you to run at least 3 Naga Mercenaries in your party - here's the units you can choose from:

    Suggested Comps

Here are a few Mercenaries parties you can use to complete the "Scuba Diving" task. If the task will allow multiple solutions, you'll be able to choose between at least an efficient and a budget comp, so that our suggestions will accommodate any kind of player out there. Moreover, in case any other content creator will provide interesting strategies, we'll make sure to list them below.

Out of Cards Recommendation - Fire Comp

Doesn't matter if we have to go to Winterspring or to Darkshore: the Fire comp is hella good.

To prove this comp of being fit for this task, we actually recorded a video showing you that you can pull this off with ease.

Budget Out of Cards Recommendation - Arkvoodle's Samuro Comp

If you're on a budget, then you should probably take a look at what Arkvoodle came up with.
