With Desperate Prayer it can be 10 AOE, but even outside of that pretty solid

Very strong effect! Aside from that, the card is soooo pretty. Probably the best looking card in this whole set.

Its going to be honestly one of priest best card for some time. With a simply card like flash heal this card does 5 damage to all ENEMY minions. So if you have board, all it takes is 2 cards and 5 mana to immediately swing.

It does help that most of the removals from priest are gone, so this one stands unopposed, in standard anyway.

... ! That can be very terrifying to play against ; a huge healing would result in your enemie's board washed : ouch ..!

Way too much set up for a single use aoe

I love this! Not only is it beautiful and strong, it makes you reevaluate every Priest card in the set - other folks here are already talking about Desperate Prayer. That's good card design! Flash Heal and Renew also exist, of course, as well as Crimson Clergy. 

I'd also like to try out a control version of this deck, rather than a tempo one. Have Raise Dead, select powerful minions like Xyrella and Sethekk Veilweaver, and a healthy amount of the spell synergy package that we received in Scholomance and Outland. That would be fun, certainly, perhaps even powerful.

Priest is always looking for board clears and they have access to plenty of efficient healing effects. I don't know why any Control Priests wouldn't want to run Xyrella. Heck, just a Renew plus HP and you have a Flamestrike plus a 4/4 and five healing for seven mana. Xyrella is super efficient and will be a staple in Priest I am certain.

The worst case scenario here is that you use your hero power to heal for 2, then drop Xyrella for a 2-damage AOE. That's pretty weak, but it's probably comparable to Shattered Rumbler, which was playable.

But realistically, this is much better. Typically you'll play this alongside Desperate Prayer or Renew or even Flash Heal to get a sizable AOE effect alongside the 4/4 body. Or you pair this with Holy Nova or Lightshower Elemental for a massive late game AOE. The fact that this can be effective at multiple points of the game makes Xyrella a very compelling card.

Shouldn't be too hard to get this into a reasonable AoE spot with Priest's ability to heal either face and minions. I just want them to stop making strong 4-mana cards so I can play Kazakus ;-;

Board clears with a body are almost always good, and Xyrella is a good one despite the healing condition. Priests have lots of cheap heals like Renew, Desperate Prayer, and those 1-mana heal-5 cards whose names I forget. Even playing this on turn 6 after healing yourself with the hero power is good enough to stymie some aggro decks.

Of course, this card is just a once-per game effect, but Priest has so many enemy-only clears now, it's ridiculous.

Cards that heal multiple targets like Holy Nova will stack up total restored health. That makes this card even stronger.

Love it, several options with this to annoy your opponent

Strong. Finally a good legendary based on healing effect. If you trade the new taunt, you have almost a full board aoe. Will see play anyhow.

How need aoe priest needs it .Jokes a side this card looks awsome a waifu that deals damage when she's is enters the field .Best way is turn 4 desperate prayer and this and your aggro player cries a river.Even in control if you get a lot of heal you can nuke them .Will see play a lot and priest just got more fun for the game .

I like Battlecry cards for priest, since there is less incentive to ressurect them.

Pretty sure this is just very good in just about any Priest deck that runs any amount of healing.

The best part is probably that there's no real ways to play around this because you can't possibly pppredict how much a Priest can effectively heal before playing this.

Wow this card can be insane! You ideally want to pair Xyrella with low cost healing spells like Renew and Flash Heal. Basically this card is amazing against aggro/midrange and absolutely useless against control/combo

I really like this, and it helps give even more reason for a heal deck, only issue i see is thtat seems more like an anti-aggro deck which won't stand up to control.

Nice effect, but requires a lot of setup for it to work.. specially for a legendary i would prefer an enabler.

This is a potential nerf candidate. Even at 5 Mana it would be good.

The only negative i can think off, is the fact that she costs 4 mana. This means that it's harder to play her alongside Kazakus, Golem Shaper. If Priest had a LOT of draw, i wouldn't have minded that much. But because priest DOESN'T have that much draw it's harder to play both Kazakus, Golem Shaper AND Xyrella in one deck. 

Great card art and great board clear that priest needed. Can't wait to play it, not so much to see it played against me.

easy solution:

All spell Priest with just Kazakus, Xyrella and Insight

With hero power it is pretty mediocre and nothing to get excited about. But when combined with just about any healing card, the damage to cost ratio is pretty good. This won't break the meta since it is just another board clear, and it may not be terribly powerful since you have to put multiple resources into it, but is should be a strong tool in the decks it is played in.

Why can't priest ever have a non- control option.

I mean this really can't be weak. Worst case its a 6 mana 4/4 that does 2 to all enemies. Best case it is wiping the board with something between 5 to 8 damage. 

the art and the character looks really cool. but I dont think the card would be that great since this is a 1 of that you gonna have to combo with other (prolly with a useless on its own card, like Desperate Prayer) card. its sad that when cool looking cards dont see play..

This can do some huge damage, especially if you can play multiple healing spells plus maybe hero power. I think I'll want some good deathrattles when I'm facing priest.

Renew will be the go-to with this card, you can even do renew+hero power for 7 mana Flamestrike, great card.

Ah, so this is why Circle of Healing isn't in the core set.

I mean, there will always be some heal integrated in you deck in control archetypes (and probably a lot of way to generate one). This seems like a really strong card.

There are so many amazing synergies with this, insanely good card in every game mode no doubt.

Desperate Prayer looks less horrible now. It's a strong board-clear but require other card as a condition. Priest is a solid control class, so Xyrella will find allways a spot in most of the decks

Another Priest AoE in plain sight, I like the flexibility here. One of my favourite cards so far, even if it's a simple effect

Pretty neat card with some major board impact if used well. I like that there is a condition, so it's not just guaranteed board clear, but it has potential.

Cool way to turn cheap heal spells like Renew and Flash Heal into removal. I like the effect; I like anything that uses Healing to do something that either effects the board or gains you value. I think this will be a must-run for Control Priest so long as Murloc Shaman is a thing.

I like the idea here. It looks like it can be a decent late game board clear that still leaves an ok body on the field. A hero power and a cheap spell or two gets to a respectable amount of healing/clearing and still leaves plenty of mana to play this.

This card is one of the few that I am most excited about in this expansion. Really hope that I unpack her!

You can easily clear most boards with this in the mid game and even in the late game it can be useful. I can even see it being played in Reno Priest in Wild. Just a really powerful card.

Really nice card for Priest. Might need a bit of tutoring, but still nice.

Could this be the start of the heal/damage archetype?  Priest is is need of a new archetype.

Great combo potential, but importantly some of the cards it can combo with are actually good cards in their own right. 

I believe the reason this is 4 mana is so that it can be played on the same turn as Reno Jackson, potentially doing 29 damage (or 39, if playing with Awaken the Makers) to your enemies minions.  I really hope the animation scales with the amount of damage that it does.

Asking a lot for a 1 time effect with a body thats worst than Chillwind Yeti, but hey, maybe it'll be better than I think.
